i just don’t listen to the radio anymore lol idk what hits are

I’ve used Spotify sufficiently that it knows what I like

The first Chappell song it gave to me was red wine supernova and it didn’t give me any others for like 6 months lmao I thought it was her only hit

But I’m kinda impressed the algorithm could pick it out the crowd knowing it was for me

Algorithms are bad though don’t get deskilled by them
 
I work retail/service industry, so wether I want to hear the radio or not I hear it a lot. At home I am that kind of hipster and listen to my collection of CDs, currently I've got Happier than Ever by Billie Eilish playing
 
I've swapped over to it recently because I'm trying to vibe with new music and my youtube reccs are full of folk/indie music rn.

But it's a lot of Sabrina Carpenter songs, Alex Warren's Ordinary, K Pop Demon Hunter's Golden, Benson Boone, Biebs is back with Daisies or smthn, etc.

TUNE Ngl the only Billie song I really like but it’s so good

And I had to back-track liking it from Kelly Clarkson’s cover tbh but both versions are great in different ways the contrast really makes you vibe with the different interpretations and deliveries of the lyrics
 
Sorry to hear that you have to listen to 2025 pop music at work though I’ve heard it’s in a rough state lol

My local supermarket (the only shop I go to that plays music) just doesn’t play modern music anymore LOL we’re getting 2000s / 2010s throwbacks or like 90s eurodance and I’m not mad at their choice at all

my local mall is entirely top40 stuff, the place I worked at til june was more 00s-10s but less the good stuff and more just Drake

if you're in the market for some good billie album cuts check out Wish You Were Gay, Male Fantasy, Listen Before I go, and THE GREATEST (most similar to happier than ever of all her other songs)
