StupidFlandrs48 levels the gun at realiti... then trips. It falls into realiti's hand, and realiti levels it at skippergamez. Three shots are heard. All three drop.
Flandrs misfired, then realiti hit skipper, a Vengeful.
It's close enough to the deadline hour and the mafia had time to see this / I notified them in their server before posting this, so decision phase deadline will be: 10 PM EDT AUGUST 27. Deadline here.

i'm good with an af shot too, i do think she's >rand odds of scum, but i'm not as convinced about it as celever, and joey/pulsar are the inactives with the higher scum equity (joey's posts i have found scum indicative independent of activity)

could see another mafia in the inactives besides skipper

AirC hasn't done much at all this game aside from a few townslips, which I believe are faked attempts (see #281 and #1128, neither of these seem genuine to me - #1128 egregiously so, considering we literally saw what happened with HyHy idling the shot). If I had the gun, I would shoot this slot for sure
I would also like to see more from joey. His defense of Clouds D1 (see #171) is pretty standard maf grouping - assuming phoopes is town, it's a pretty standard strategy of defense by throwing 1 scum in with 3 townies and hoping that just passes off as 4 townreads. This of course hinges on phoopes being town, but that's not a good start - #182 also isn't a great post to me especially considering that skipper was just flipped from the AFK pile
I still stand by my earlier statement of Des's play this game being coached. Stuff like #1137 is what we've come to expect of town Des, but the juxtaposition between that and #555 / #929 with some actual reasoning makes me believe that someone is coaching Des about general things to do (evident in the recent interaction between you and Des)
Pulsar is in the same boat as AirC, except without any alignment-indicative content - hopefully she completes her backread soon so we can glean some thoughts / content
phoopes is towny to me, I really don't see a scumbuddy making a post like #1135 to draw attention back onto their partner. I would like to see more content from him, for sure, but the content they have right now leans town to me
Regarding the actives:
Pebble is fine now. Reading too much into Day 1 was an error on my part, and their recent posting like #1121 is above the bar for me. I also don't think #1090 is something that they would ask in thread rather than with their scumpartners.
Celever's latest posting has been much better than what they were putting out at the start, I'm willing to stand down my original scumread - a skim of the ISO reveals it's filled with filler, though, so maybe it's not all kosher and he's scum on the low
I could honestly get behind a Texas or Tommy shot today (Tommy first, though); I suspect there is 1 scum in those two trying to powerwolf to endgame, and if we flip one of them town there's not too much harm done since they can be guaranteed to shoot. I'll sort these out later, though.
Evie's posting has also been +town, this is a very low-priority shot for me

I agree with DBD on the AirC shot. I'm not really sure how the slips thing works like they were talking about, but I think AirC reveal more info about Tommy and Celever. Which might help with the "deep wolf" situation people keep talking about (i.e. if AirC flips maf, then I think Tommy is def clear because they've pointed out a couple of inconsistencies with AirC already this game). I already lean Town on Tommy anyway tho, but I also think it might reveal information about Celever too, based off Tommy pointing out that AirC had Celever listed as their top town read but still said they'd be fine with shooting them. I don't think AirC and Celever can be paired together because of that. And though I don't really understand it, apparently it might reveal info about my alignment too, which I think would be nice.
Past AirC, I'd be okay with a Pulsar shot. Feel like they've only really come in the last couple of days to meme. Looking at their posts, they had an early comment towards a fairy that most maf teams would pick her cause she doesn't like scumreading people on the first day. A diff interaction with Celever calling him strange for thinking that everyone wants to shoot him after one of Texas's posts. And then after that it's just a lot of meme posts or pathos appeals about how disheartening the game is, which fair.
I'm not really sure what to do with phoopes. Joey I have higher than Pulsar, cause I liked their posts on the first day. Des I have in towards the middle almost exclusively because Clouds shaded them in one of their posts before they died on the first day #143 and people said they just play like this, that or Clouds was just sheeping Des.
And I'm super conflicted about a fairy cause I was scumreading them earlier cause their convo with Celever seemed manufactured [some might say contrived], (like equally, it could of been S/S or S/T was the feeling I got), but apparently that's just how they interact with each other so I'm not really sure. But they've been really consistent with the Pulsar scum read, so I think if Pulsar flips maf it'll be gucci and I'd rather shoot them first.
Plus, after backreading I think Skipper was kind of pushing the a fairy angle at the start. And I might have been reading a fairy as scum partially because someone said maf are probs gunna try and create separation between each other and I thought it was just me and a fairy on the Flandrs is town side so I thought they might be maf. But Skipper also started with Flandrs as town the first day, and flipped to calling Flandrs scum right before Miyami shot them, so that might cover that. (Which I might also check who Miyami was planning on shooting that day to see if maybe that came into play on why Skipper changed their mind at the last minute.)
Evie is on the same level as Celever, cause for some reason I keep thinking she's paired with AirC even though I have no real reason on why I feel that way. But a lot of other people said they seemed good, and I can't tell the difference between this game and their other ones.

I’m talking about the players who never posted at all, not just fell off ima circling right the rest of thread, like experienced players not posting which makes the game less fun for others, you included
Though hopefully everyone’s activity does pick up of course but there’s a huge difference between lower activity and absolutely no content at all
The problem really has been using all 48 hours to shoot
Once one person does it it sets the trend bc humans are monkey brained and we copy each other, I don’t think it’s anyone’s fault in particular, but we need some cool people to set the trend of firing quickly
When I get shot (which will be soon bc apparently my reads have been shit) I’m gonna take time to think and analyse properly though so I’m a hypocrite lol
