Chomp VoltTurn

:diancie-mega:-:garchomp:-:zapdos:-:ogerpon-wellspring:-:melmetal:-:zamazenta:

I built this VoltTurn team a few weeks ago after being inspired by some Gen 6 Teams. I started with a strong but frail breaker in Mega-Diancie :diancie-mega: then paired it with Garchomp :garchomp:, who is able to break the Steel and Poison Types who Mega-Diancie :diancie-mega: can struggle with. I chose Rockium-Z :rockium-z: on Garchomp :garchomp: because I didn't want to let Fairies in as freely and I like being able to hit Corviknight :corviknight: for good damage. Ogerpon :ogerpon-wellspring: and Zapdos :zapdos: provide plenty of counterplay to Ground types and make up the VoltTurn core. Adamant Nature on Ogerpon :ogerpon-wellspring: is for the Fat/Stall matchup. From there, I rounded off the team with Melmetal :melmetal: and Zamazenta :zamazenta:, who provide the team with basic defensive requirements and speed control. Zamazenta :zamazenta: is Heavy Slam to help with the Fairy types who can wear down Melmetal :melmetal:. The team has a notably bad matchup into Iron Valiant :iron-valiant:, but it isn't unwinnable by any means and the team has a lot of firepower overall which I enjoy.

Hello everyone I’m gonna co-host for Sputnik whenever he’s busy since he has a life and stuff and I don’t. Let’s move on to voting phase!!

Option A
Loaded Dice Garchomp BO

:pmd/garchomp::pmd/heatran::pmd/zapdos::pmd/slowking-galar::pmd/ogerpon-wellspring::pmd/zamazenta:

A team built around :ogerpon-wellspring: breaking for :loaded-dice: :garchomp:(garchomp can be substitute over fire fang if you want). :heatran: serves as the stealth rocker of the team as well as doing standard heatran duties, grassium z is notable here for trapping and deleting :alomomola:. :zamazenta: acts as speed control for the team as well as checking threats like :kingambit: and :ogerpon-wellspring:. :zapdos: and :slowking-galar: round out the team defensively, zapdos also serves as the teams hazard removal and glowking sets up future sight to go in tandem with zama and waterpon's stabs for more efficiently breaking down defensive pokemon/cores. This team is usable ig, not the most spectacular build and has notably tough mu's into yard and mdia for example, but it is pretty easy to use.

Option B

Team B by Hovercat2475 wins! Congratulations, I or Sputnik will add you to the hall of fame (eventually… once we do the previous cycles.)

Cycle 16: Kyurem
:ss/kyurem:

With a solid amount of usage in NDPL. Along with more variety in its sets being explored, the husk of the original dragon continues to be an excellent balance breaker with excellent against the ever so common staples in Ferrothorn, Gliscor, and especially Alomomola. and even does quite well vs offense teams that use Steel type anchors weak to its coverage such as Gholdengo and Heatran and Dragon types such as Dragonite and Raging Bolt as part of their primary defensive cores. Kyurem has a variety of item choices, from Groundium Z, Never-Melt-Ice, the standard Heavy-Duty Boots, and a lot more rare items. Its moveset is also customizable between sets, with moves such as HP Fire picking up more use. with a lot of underexplored options still at its disposal, what will you come up with for this icy dragon?

Submissions end Saturday, October 4th.

AV Kyurem Offense
:kyurem: :terapagos: :volcarona: :diancie-mega: :landorus-therian: :kingambit:

Im not sure who invented this in sv but its funny here. It lives a bunch of stupid shit (spoilered below) such as z-make it rain from ghold, 2-yard weather balls after spike and +1 sub swarm savage spin out and retaliates with the teched coverage of rock slide, ep, freeze dry and draco. The rest are sort of just a bunch of anti-hazard support and brokens.
lives:
252 SpA Charizard-Mega-Y Weather Ball (100 BP Fire) vs. 56 HP / 244+ SpD Assault Vest Kyurem in Sun: 148-175 (36.5 - 43.2%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after 1 layer of Spikes
252 SpA Choice Specs Tapu Lele Moonblast vs. 56 HP / 244+ SpD Assault Vest Kyurem: 242-288 (59.7 - 71.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
+1 252 SpA Swarm Volcarona Savage Spin-Out (175 BP) vs. 56 HP / 244+ SpD Assault Vest Kyurem: 342-403 (84.4 - 99.5%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock
252 SpA Latios-Mega Draco Meteor vs. 56 HP / 244+ SpD Assault Vest Kyurem: 258-306 (63.7 - 75.5%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
252+ SpA Protosynthesis Raging Bolt Draco Meteor vs. 56 HP / 244+ SpD Assault Vest Kyurem: 326-386 (80.4 - 95.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock

in return:
0- Atk Kyurem Rock Slide vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Charizard-Mega-Y: 296-352 (99.6 - 118.5%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO
0- Atk Kyurem Rock Slide vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Volcarona: 344-408 (110.6 - 131.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
112 SpA Kyurem Freeze-Dry vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Tapu Lele: 93-109 (33 - 38.7%) -- 99.5% chance to 3HKO (not great but its a pinch calc)
112 SpA Kyurem Draco Meteor vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Raging Bolt: 422-500 (107.9 - 127.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
112 SpA Kyurem Draco Meteor vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Latios-Mega: 326-386 (108.3 - 128.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO
