Welcome to the third edition of National Dex Farm Leauge; this thread can be used for tournament discussion, jokes, and all the sort. Don't do too much to where a moderator has to be involved.

My cos won’t be hosting tryouts but I will try to make time for them personally this weekend / next week to see any talent I may be missing so hmu whenever around then!

Very surprised I didn't get a team considering I literally won this tour last time I managed it and have never finished worse than 1st place managing NDFL, I'd assume there's some behind the scenes reason nobody told me about as to why we got snubbed which would be nice to have known beforehand so I don't even bother signing up and making a logo next time. I mean no disrespect to any of the selected pairs but cant think of any qualification that would super-cede having won the tour as manager the last time I signed up, with my co-managers also being highly qualified having managed 7+ team tours across various tiers with good results.

Anyways if any of the other manager pairings would like to win this tour I'm offering up my services as a ghost manager to any team that will have me., can also make u a crisp logo if you would like. Resume:

These manager pair selections have got to be a joke. At first, I thought that its better to stay silent and let it pass, but on reconsidering it, I think it sets a dangerous precedent for the future. From what I understand, there are two primary qualities that the host looks for in any manager that has signed up.

  • Competence and experience in said tiers
  • Team chemistry / Ability to lead a team
One can argue about the weightage of said qualities, but everyone agrees that these are what every manager should have at the bare minimum. If you sign up to manage, it means that you back yourself in both these departments. Its then the host's job to use their best judgement to pick the best out of the bunch, for the overall health and success of the tournament. That does not seem to be the case here.

One look at the manager pairs, and anyone that has been keeping up with NDFL in recent times will tell you that something is off.

Re: Ubers Tryouts

Unsurprisingly, I'll be overseeing these... I'm not entirely sure if I'll be doing actual games. Feel free to send your resume, achievements, replays, ect. I'll be providing support to whoever we draft and am fine offering anywhere from minimal to complete support. Consequently, I'm most interested in hearing your thoughts about the tier and preferences regarding playstyle or specific mons. Yap as much as you'd like, I'm happy to read it, but my chief priority with our Ubers slot is ensuring we draft someone that I'm able to provide the support that our player needs.

If you want to join me in the National Dex University server for tryouts, don't bother.... the WOKE tour hosts have once again CANCELLED me for some stupid and LIBERAL nonsense that has no ground in truth and is completely arbitary. A red-blooded conservative NatDexer such as myself should be free to manage solo in any tour I would like and NatDex FARM League of all tours wants to push me out? A tour where I went to Semi-Finals in??? Nuh-uh, this means WAR. hidin and the rest of the hosting team, you just made an enemy for LIFE.
