Trick allows Girafarig to lure in and significantly hinder its biggest checks in the ever-present Tinkatuff as well as Dunsparce and Hisuian Sliggoo. Thunderbolt cleanly 2HKOes Quaxwell, Wartortle, and Vullaby, while Nasty Plot lets Girafarig set up on foes that are Choice-locked such as the aforementioned Tinkatuff and Clefairy. Girafarig greatly appreciates teammates that take advantage of its few checks, including Piloswine, Monferno, and Pignite, while said teammates appreciate Girafarig breaking down roadblocks like Quaxwell and Seadra for them. Knock Off absorbers like Tinkatuff and Thief Koffing are also great partners, as they both take dangerous Knock Off attempts aimed at Girafarig while setting up entry hazards, whether Stealth Rock for the former or Toxic Spikes for the latter.
