Hisuian Growlithe is smashing Little Cup hard with its rock head. Choice Scarf allows it to serve as an excellent wallbreaker with both power and Speed. Flare Blitz allows Hisuian Growlithe to easily dismantle threatening foes such as Foongus and Alolan Diglett, while Head Smash lets it easily wipe out annoying foes like Vullaby and Elekid. Sleep Talk allows Hisuian Growlithe to easily switch into incoming Spore from foes such as Toedscool and Foongus. Using only two moves other than Sleep Talk allows Hisuian Growlithe to only roll powerful STAB moves without fear of rolling a worse one. Mienfoo is an amazing ally, as it chips foes via Fake Out and removes Eviolites with Knock Off, allowing Hisuian Growlithe to hit even harder and threaten foes such as Mienfoo and Mareanie. Toedscool, Alolan Sandshrew, and Vullaby are also great partners, as they all provide entry hazard removal in the form of Rapid Spin and Defog. Toedscool puts foes to sleep using Spore while also spreading hazards by setting Spikes. Similarly, Glimmet also helps with spreading hazards by setting Stealth Rock and Spikes. Furthermore, it also spreads poison via the Toxic Spikes set by Toxic Debris.
