why is reaction score

There have been multiple iterations of the likeshop over the years, no guarantees on whether it ever comes back or not

That said if I was a corrupt smod I could arbitrarily change anyone’s reaction score to whatever I please but I would never do that because I’m not like the other girls
i would never be bribed in react score to like someone's post...

on an unrelated note, ive only ever received 704 reacts, despite having a react score of 1,578, aint that neat

Every time you make a post and someone likes it, it is a simultaneous confirmation of both of your existences. Someone sent out a message and you chose to let them know that you heard it. It is as beautiful as it is important. These likes remind us that we put ourselves in the presence of others, to make sure that someone out there might be so moved by something we have to say. If we don't get likes, well, thats on us. But it is the spirit of giving that drives this process of likes. We care enough to give a message and we care enough to give a response. We are the givers and we are the likers. We are the posters and we are the readers. We are alive and that is beautiful. You are living and have the Autonomy to write a post, or give a like or both if you so desire. Isn't that beautiful? Isn't that not just the most beautiful reminder of your existence? You are here, and you are posting and you are liking posts because you liked the post.

phoopes likeshop has long felt like a logical culmination of the phoopes character arc. your thoughts?

Perhaps the reaction score is show your dominance when it comes to the online social battlefield.
Ofc it depends on the context on whether it's really valuable. Like you can still cook a great argument, but still get disliked or vice versa.
