Chien-Pao Icy Wind sows panic and chaos in the Doubles OU tier! Ice Spinner clears Psychic Terrain so Dragonite can freely click Extreme Speed and the damage amplification from Sword of Ruin makes Chien-Pao a good partner for any physical attacker, like the Ogerpon formes and the aforementioned Dragonite. The combination of Sucker Punch and Focus Sash allows Chien-Pao to be threatening even when outsped, for example when under opposing Tailwind. Icy Wind offers important speed control for his partners while 2HKOing Landorus-I and also breaking focus sashes from common Pokemon like Tornadus, Chien-Pao and Glimmora. Protect is usually the default move which is used to stall Tailwind or Trick Room turns, scout double targets, and preserve Sash; however, Tera Ghost already deters Fake Out and flips Chien-Pao’s Fighting weakness into an immunity, so Brick Break is a strong alternative that OHKOs opposing Chien-Pao and clears Aurora Veil or other screens.

this is a bit hard to quantify but i think you're writing this too much like an analysis at certain parts— your goal is more to talk about Chien-Pao's role in the broader metagame than it is to describe how it's supposed to be used on a game-to-game basis.

here for example, it's worth addressing that pao is one of the fastest unboosted speed tiers in the format & thus its ability to click icy wind is even more useful. it would also be better here if you cut the examples of mons that run sash in favor of examples of partners— we don't need to know what mons run sash, but we do need to know who pao offers speed control to.

be sure to place extra emphasis on how much icy wind pao has exploded in usage recently— especially after last DPL.
