Let's Rumble Shall We vs Separation - two 3-0ers. Rumble beat Dasmer/zS/Alhen and Sepa beat TDNT/stresh/Gray. Sepa obviously has a stronger pedigree but Rumble's games have all looked extremely sheist. I'm here for the Jolteon guy sweep.

Vert vs MRH1106 - feel like this is a nightmare matchup for the Trick Room man. Vert is like the Godfather of SV OU and has experienced/built/fought every form of HO/cheese under the sun. Ain't a damn thing that can surprise him

Ewin vs Tace - I had a preconceived notion of Tace as an SM-only guy but this clearly isn't the case. And he should know well enough to not get slimed by Ewin's weird-ass stall over the course of a BO3

Fusien vs clean - Fusien has only looked better and better as the year goes on; clean started the year very hot before cooling off a little bit. Good quality game incoming but Fusien probably in stronger form

Let's Rumble Shall We vs Separation (55/45) (Our protagonist vs Sep, I think jolteon's building is more interesting + Sep has had a rough SCL outing after farming swiss here, also r1 3-0 vs 3-0 mu is a fun one)
TDNT vs ima (55/45) (Tree & JC think TDNT will get revenge for r4 of swiss + will lose scl & win here, I am favoring Ima's builds a bit more here personally)
Vert vs MRH1106 (75/25) (MRH has plot armor but will it carry over vs the unanimous #1 SV player?)
Giannis Antetokommo-o vs Alhen (47/53) (JC is leaning giannis, he's heating up but I think Alhen's path to get here was stronger per the eye test)
Ewin vs Tace (57/43) (Ewin is volatile in builder + more active in the tier, tace looked good last week however)
xavgb vs Storm Zone (58/42) (JC & Tree think xav is more solid fundamentally + won't load lose on preview, I am personally leaning storm since this is the weakest xav has ever looked + I like his weird builds here)
hellom vs Typhlosion48 (48/52) (Our 2nd protagonist will prevail)
Fusien vs clean (60/40) (Fusien has looked a lot stronger both here & in other tours, only vert has really looked stronger)
 

Gendercast Predicts Top 16​

We went 3-3 last week. Tough.

Let's Rumble Shall We vs Separation (55-45)
  • Both played super well in OLT, solid with a lot of styles
  • We're really liking Rumble's performance rn
TDNT vs ima (40-60)
  • Rematch, we think ima's been playing better overall
Vert vs MRH1106 (81-19)
  • The 19/100 accounts for any natural disasters, paranormal occurrences, health issues, etc.
  • It's gonna be tough for MRH to bring the right matchup fish vs a player like Vert, let alone close it out
Giannis Antetokommo-o vs Alhen (53-47)
  • Giannis' game vs Originality56 last week was way closer than expected
  • Alhen's been playing well, but we still think Giannis has the edge here
Ewin vs Tace (55-45)
  • Tace has been in this exact position 4 times (which is rly impressive)
  • Ewin has a wide variety of potential brings, very very hard to prep for
  • Both solid but Ewin's favored here
xavgb vs Storm Zone (52-48)
  • Really close, probably gonna come down to the brings
  • Storm's teams look better into xav, but it's really hard to predict against xav
  • sire clod (SC) is backing Storm Zone (SZ)
hellom vs Typhlosion48 (55-45)
  • Typhlosion has been playing really well, brought back his 0-2 in the swiss to qualify for top 16
  • hellom is a more proven SV player, hard to predict against him as well
Fusien vs clean (55-45)
  • Fusien has an insane record since his OST win
    • Despite having a great record since the end of OST, Fusien only went 3-6 last SPL
  • clean is feeling good after beating attribute last week in SCL
  • Fusien slightly favored, had a better OLT run (qualled week 1, 3-0 in swiss)
