I spent day one not doing much ("hanging back" as I said) to try and fly under the radar so I didn't get lynched and also wouldn't be an obvious target for maf at night. Investigated you on night one for the reason stated above and my hunch was right (though admittedly I thought it was because you and DBD were teammates lol).

Day two I purposely did everything I could to make it look like I was barking up the wrong tree with my scumreads, while still trying to lynch a maf. Like I said I thought DBD was maf so I felt good about it, obviously he flipped town so I was like uh-oh. But night two I investigated Celever mostly based off vibes, but also in part because hal (I think it was hal) said he was playing a shitty game, and hal was actually one of my number one town reads so I trusted his vibes and it worked out.

Specifically the interaction that fairy and hal had made me basically confirm hal as town because I knew fairy was maf at that point and figured that argument would've been hashed out in mafia chat were they on the same team. So with that knowledge I trusted hal's analysis of Celever and he flipped maf in my night two investigation

So I guess I should give credit where credit is due (and not say the Celever cop was "vibes" haha). Shoutout hal

Idt cop outting now is the worse anyways given if we miss today, then tomorrow we can go equal to mafia theoretically in a 3-1-3 if werewolf and mafia both kill town
 
Oh actually I guess there's a pretty real world where town does lose if there's 2 town kills, but werewolf has decent odds to hit mafia and should want to anyway
 
I feel like town and werewolf already have a good relationship we don’t neee to be making threats I’m happy we are working together given their shots and we can continue to do so

Like if werewolf turns around and gives a massive middle finger to town that obviously sucks and we deal with that then but let’s not start trying to do the classic smogon oc master negotiatior move where you blow up the relationship with an ally because you demand too much constantly

If werewolf shoots poe again then I’m personally very thankful, I don’t expect them on the red check they can let town deal with that while still having some agency themselves

Werewolf ultimately needs to find that last mafia themselves still and time is running out so let’s encourage them to do that and work together towards the common wincon, not make big threats and demands
 
If town is voting the red checks while werewolf is firing at Poe then that helps werewolf because we can’t vote them, they have the control over who in Poe does not town and that gets them to the endgame for a fair chance at winning, they have earned that from us for townsiding imo

Obviously if they turn around and start mafia siding now then tomorrow we probably do actually have to ignore the second red check and start sucking hunting though because no ill will but if we start getting our clears and checks targeted with two kills for the rest of the game then we are still completely fucked, it’s not possible to deal with 2 nightkills as town especially with the first 5 deaths of the game were all town
