I think my post was misinterpreted. What I was getting at is that from my experience people spend day one tinfoiling over the smallest things, so I said we shouldn’t “overthink” things. And I stand by that. Probably should take things at face value for the most part I would say.
I know this is going to reek of OMGUS but I agree that the quick votes against me seem pretty agenda’d. Like I gave an inch and yall took a mile. Considering there were multiple votes against me I’m not going to fire back at one of you right away but I’m keeping it in mind.

i guess my personal perspective on day one is that “give an inch and take a mile” is kind of the name of the game. any thought you have, no matter how insignificant or wrong it may be, can be useful to share because other people will in turn have something to say about it, and that creates a snowball effect that leads to an actual discussion which solving can take place
your post in itself was helpful because other people including myself reacted to it and created potentially alignment indicative content. i just also disagree with what you said and the general day one nihilism that a few others have expressed
