Deadass, even on the original Mega Chomp and Regular Garchomp this is a huge buff. Special sets have a lot of advantages in having a strong STAB Earth Power (with Life Orb) and a Draco to surprise tusk.

On Mega chomp with that speed - I see it pushing it to Ubers. Maybe it will be kept in check by various fairies, but it will still will make it more threatening.

My first impression was that it kind of has to go for an offensive abilities since its defenses are close enough to Bronzong (which already has good defensive Abilities) that it would primarily get a niche as an attacker.

Of course, for that option to be Chrome-plated or [can't think of a good Psychic joke] Boomburst, it would have to actually learn Boomburst first. At least Hyper Voice is on the table. Might even be the preferred option in doubles since it doesn't hit the ally.
