See this checks out to me much more than what AirC said. The only thing is, last game the player was des who was actually scum, right? Why would they expect to be cleared off of that if the player in question is town...?
 
The one decision I made for myself was ecat - peum double scum and that was p dumb so I wanna grow some brain cells before I start forming my own decisions

I thought there was just too much going against ecat and peum kept focusing on that and ignoring other things. Felt like, by focusing on the one person most likely to be mafia even when the votes were already there, peum was trying to make people not notice who he’s directing attention off (the people consistently scumread)

Cos by targeting vishy who’s a new player in a community where we don’t really vote new players out early it gives them a cover to under the radar coast til the point in the game where we start killing newbies
 
to answer your question though there’s been nothing in this game that would’ve made me mad or upset me. Even last game the only frustration I really had was when people were getting mechanical knowledge wrong because they didn’t read the OP. Basically I think a lot of people here (and I’m guilty of this too) see a panicked response to being leading vote getter as “oh this is town panicking that they’re going to get voted out.” I feel like I don’t do that (at least in my posting, IRL is another matter lol). I try to keep it cool and rational but maybe that reads as scummy

Don’t be a sheep I’m begging you, I would rather you come up with your own rationale then just parroting people who you think know better because that’s an easy way to get manipulated into voting for the wrong person

vishy fishy one alternative strategy here -- pick one or two players you're very sure are town and follow their lead. Finding a townie is usually a lot easier than finding scum

Like yeah no we wouldn’t expect you to get frustrated this game, so we also wouldnt scumread you for it right?
 
There is a concept called pocketing which is where scum try to convince one specific player that they're town, and then direct that player to vote poorly. So I don't think you should follow every townread's lead. Just pick a few who you're reasonably sure of

(Obviously or they’re hellbussing having assessed vishy as a bud who cannot survive til endgame but yk I think I proooobably am on the vishy town train for the time being too)
 
Okay I think I'm just gonna stay up until LN comes around and see what he has to say, bc his vote moving could swing things atm and I'm assuming it will not be that long

LN even though I horsed you please do not abuse this power to make me stay up super late. If my sleep schedule gets fucked up the children will suffer.
