The abovementioned and below-stated tournament shall be hosted by BigFatMantis and goldmason

GSC UUPL is a bit of a paradox. It's a tournament, but also, it might be a lifestyle.

FORMAT: There will be a total of 4 teams/manager pairs selected, and the season will be a 3 week season with Top 2 teams making finals.

Here are the confirmed tiers for the very first edition:
  • GSC UU :Granbull:
  • GSC UU :Nidoqueen:
  • GSC UU :Scyther:
  • GSC UU + :Smeargle:, -Baton Pass
  • GSC UU + :Typhlosion:
  • GSC UU + :Venusaur:

Additionally, signups permitting, there may be two more tiers added:
  • GSC UUBL :porygon2:
  • GSC UU + :Smeargle:, + :Typhlosion:, + :Venusaur:, -Baton Pass

Some might say there's an even more secret tier, but who knows....................

TEAM NAMING RULES
They are generally relaxed, but should try to incorporate something Johto-y + a GSC UU or testing pokemon.
Good team name example: Radio Tower Typhlosions
Bad team name example (not accepted): Bob's Discount Furniture
OK team name (acceptable): Ampharos' Lighthouse Surfers

One manager may self-buy for 15k credits
A second manager may self-buy for 25k credits (40k total for two managers)

Manager Signups will close at 11:59 PM GMT+0 on March 1st or potentially a bit sooner/later depending on signups.

I have a fair bit of experience managing and supporting tours like nufl,pubd,pucl,advltl,zucl, and this last edition of gscpl. Most of these involved involvement in our teams gsc prep, sometimes to large extents.
My co Heatranator has had a huge role in the creation and development of gsc ru so hes got crazy gsc skillz.
We play to win with a cute bow in our hair<3

Explanation: Bob is the name of the younger haircut brother in goldenrod. Source: trust me bro. He gives discounts on his haircuts thus the name, "Discount". Feraligatr has so much hair ngl ty bfm u th3 goat
My assman managed alot of tours he has good experience also he played 1000 games of mons in 28 days he's absolutely tryhard enough

We are officially extending manager signup deadline by a few days to ensure we select the right pairs. If you have any interests in signing up or teaming up with one of the solo signups, you have until about Tuesday/Wednesday to do so.

After discussing all of the potential options with the Smogon Supermoderation team, as well as the CEO of Nintendo and my cousin, we have determined that only 4 real pairs have signed up and as such, the managers for thee GSC UUPL tournament will be..................
