[SET COMMENTS]
Cresselia leverages its fantastic bulk and support options to have an interesting niche in the tier, checking threats such as Zamazenta and Iron Valiant while supporting its teammates with paralysis and Lunar Dance support. Lunar Dance is crucial on this set, allowing Cresselia to knock itself out in a pinch, escaping bad matchups like Kingambit and Gholdengo, while healing an ally to full health. Ice Beam allows Cresselia to super effectively hit Pokemon such as Dragonite, Landorus-T, and Gliscor. Moonblast is an alternative option, letting Cresselia to not be walled by Dark-types such as Darkrai and Samurott-Hisui. Cresselia can also opt to use Psychic as a STAB attack, allowing it to better deal with Pokemon like Zamazenta and Great Tusk. Thunder Wave serves to cripple foes that Cresselia couldn't otherwise deal with, such as Ogerpon-Wellspring, Dragapult, Darkrai and Tornadus-T. Moonlight serves as recovery, allowing Cresselia to consistently check Pokemon such as Great Tusk. Eject Button allows Cresselia to pivot once, preventing momentum from getting loss from pivoting traditionally. Eject Button being a consumable item has the additional benefit of weakening Knock Off from strong attackers such as Swords Dance Gliscor and Meowscarada. Rocky Helmet is an alternative choice, punishing attacks such as Rapid Spin from Great Tusk and Iron Treads, Flip Turn from Alomomola, and the ever-present U-Turn from Pokemon like Landorus-T, Corviknight, Cinderance and Moltres. It also prevents Ice Beam Cresselia from losing to Iron Defence Zamazenta, since Cresselia cannot deal meaningful damage otherwise. Steel is the preferred terastillization option, turning Cresselia's weakness to U-Turn into a resistance and making it immune to Toxic while also synergising well with its ability Levitate, allowing Cresselia to wall Pokemon such as Kyurem and Gliscor while having a positive match-up into Dragonite. Tera Fairy is another option, allowing Cresselia to still resist U-Turn while also resisting Dark-type moves such as the prevalent Knock Offs of the tier and Darkrai's Dark Pulse, while also boosting Moonblast's damage.

Cresselia best fits on fast paced teams that appreciate its support options, while making up for its general passivity. It notably synergises well with sun teams, with the setters Torkoal and Ninetales being very susceptible to entry hazard chip, while sun abusers such as Life Orb Venusaur, Great Tusk, Raging Bolt and Walking Wake get regularly chipped down by trading HP and taking hazards, thus Lunar Dance support is very much coveted. Eject Button is the preferred item choice as it allows Cresselia to perform the role of a safe pivot, giving a free switch to the aforementioned sun abusers, invaluable with the limited sun turns. In return, the weather boosts Cresselia's healing to absurd levels, healing 66% of its health with Moonlight under the sun, allowing it stay continually healthy until its Lunar Dance is needed. Cresselia synergises well with teams other than weather teams. Dark-types such as Kingambit, Darkrai, and Hisuian Samurott all appreciates Cresselia's ability to check Fighting-type Pokemon like Zamazenta and Iron Valiant. In return, Dark-type Pokemon support Cresselia by resisting the Dark- and Ghost-type moves that it is weak to, such as Shadow Ball from Gholdengo and Dragapult, and Knock off from Pokemon like Samurott-Hisui and Tyranitar. Ogerpon-Wellspring appreciates Cresselia's ability to paralyse foes that would usually outspeed it, such as Cinderance, Dragapult, Tornadus-T and Booster Speed Iron Moth, as well as Lunar Dance support, since Ogerpon-Wellspring is susceptible to entry hazard damage and chip damage. Particularly, Cresselia helps by having ways to hit the Dragon-types that can switch in on and threaten Ogerpon-Wellspring, with Ice Beam for Dragonite and Hydrapple, and Moonblast for Kyurem. Cresselia also helps in the Ogerpon-Wellspring mirror match, tanking its STAB moves and crippling it in return with Thunder Wave. In return, Ogerpon-Wellspring can deal with the bulky Ground-type Pokemon that can switch-in on Thunder Wave and shrug off Cresselia's attacks, such as Ting-Lu, Iron Treads and Ursaluna. Cresselia also makes for a great partner for Raging Bolt, as it can switch in on the Ground-type attacks, such as Great Tusk's Headlong Rush and Earthquake from Pokemon such as Gliscor and Dragonite, that Raging Bolt is weak to. Paralysis support allows Raging Bolt to outspeed opposing Dragon-types like Dragapult, Kyurem, and Walking Wake, allowing it to eliminate them with Dragon-type STAB. Thunder Wave can also slow down other opponents, such as Enamorus, Iron Valiant, and Zamazenta, removing Raging Bolt's reliance on Thunderclap. In return, Raging Bolt can check Zapdos, which can block Thunder Wave, and bulky Water-types that don't mind Paralysis, such as Alomomola and Dondozo. Cresselia is on the passive side, which leaves it vulnerable to being setup fodder for Pokemon such as Gholdengo, Raging Bolt and Substitute Zamazenta. Pokemon that deal with such threats are greatly appreciated by Cresselia, such as Encore Iron Valiant, Roar Zamazenta and Whirlwind Ting-Lu. In a similar vein, Kingambit can easily set-up on Cresselia and threaten it with its Dark- STAB, so allies that check it such as Great Tusk and Zamazenta are valuable.

Cresselia leverages its fantastic bulk and support options to have an interesting niche in the tier, checking threats such as Zamazenta and Iron Valiant while supporting its teammates with paralysis and Lunar Dance support. Lunar Dance is crucial on this set, allowing Cresselia to pivot in a pinch, escaping bad matchups like Kingambit and Gholdengo, while healing an ally to full health. Ice Beam allows Cresselia to super effectively hit Pokemon like Landorus-Therian dex analyses shorten Therian to just T, make sure to change that in the rest of the analysis and Gliscor. Moonblast is an alternative option, letting Cresselia to not be walled by Dark-types such as Darkrai and Samurott-Hisui. Cresselia can also opt to use Psychic-STAB as a reliable attack what Psychic STAB would it run?. Thunder Wave serves to cripple foes that Cresselia couldn't otherwise deal with, such as Ogerpon-Wellspring, Dragapult, Darkrai and Tornadus-Therian. Rocky Helmet is an alternative choice, punishing attacks such as Rapid Spin from Great Tusk and Iron Treads, Flip Turn from Alomomola, and the ever-present U-Turn from Pokemon like Landorus-Therian, Tornadus-Therian, not a bad mention, but helmet chip is largely negligible against Torn due to Regen, and this sentence is already bloated with examples, so I'd remove Corviknight, Cinderance and Moltres. Steel is the preferred terastillization option, turning Cresselia's weakness to U-Turn into a resistance and making it immune to Toxic while also synergising well with its ability Levitate, granting an immunity to Ground-type moves. Notably, the Steel-typing and Levitate combo allows Cresselia to wall Pokemon such as Kyurem, Dragonite lacking Fire Punch and Gliscor. I'd merge these 2 sentences together since the 2nd sentence is just a repeat of what the 1st sentence said. An example would be "granting an immunity to Ground-type moves from Pokemon like Kyurem and Gliscor while also having a positive matchup into Dragonite". Cut down on fluff if you can Tera Fairy is another option, allowing Cresselia to still resist U-Turn while also resiting Dark-type moves such as the prevalent Knock Offs of the tier and Darkrai's Dark Pulse, while also boosting Moonblast's damage.

Cresselia best fits on fast paced teams that appreciate its support options, while making up for its general passivity. In return, the weather boosts Cresselia's healing to absurd levels, healing 66% of its health with Moonlight under the sun, allowing it stay continually healthy until its Lunar Dance is needed. Cresselia may also fit on sand teams, due to its valuable resistance to Fighting-moves and immunity to Ground-moves which target common sand abusers, such as Tyranitar and Excadrill, though one must be conscious about the nerfed Moonlight. Cresselia synergises well with teams other than weather teams. Dark-types such as Kingambit, Darkrai, and Hisuian Samurott all appreciates Cresselia's ability to check Fighting-type Pokemon like Zamazenta and Iron Valiant. In return, Dark-type Pokemon support Cresselia by resisting the Dark- and Ghost-type moves that it is weak to, such as Shadow Ball and Knock Off. In return, Ogerpon-Wellspring can deal with the bulky Ground-type Pokemon that can switch-in on Thunder Wave and shrug off Cresselia's attacks, such as Ting-Lu, Iron Treads and Ursaluna. Minor addition, but I'd also add that Cresselia helps cripple the Dragon-types that serve as a stopgap for Ogerpon with Thunder Wave paralysis and Ice Beam chunking them (mainly Dnite, Kyurem, and Apple), also helps the mirror match against opposing Ogerpon-W since Cress can comfortably take STABs Cresselia also makes for a great partner for Raging Bolt, as it can switch in on the Ground-type attacks that Raging Bolt is weak to. Paralysis support allows Raging Bolt to outspeed opposing Dragon-types like Dragapult, Kyurem, and Walking Wake, allowing it to eliminate them with Dragon-type STAB. (Think hitting Dnite is super important) Moonblast is an alternative option, letting Cresselia to not be walled by Dark-types such as Darkrai and Samurott-Hisui. Cresselia can also opt to use Psychic-STAB like Psychic or Psyshock as a reliable attack. (Cresselia is so weak that, even with Psyshock, it doesn't do much against common special walls like Slowking-G or even Blissey, so I think Psychic is better to help it check Zamazenta which could get a quick mention here. It also does more to Tusk and chunks Pecharunt looking for a free pivot, though that's less important) Thunder Wave serves to cripple foes that Cresselia couldn't otherwise deal with, such as Ogerpon-Wellspring, Dragapult, Darkrai and Tornadus-T. Moonlight serves as recovery, allowing Cresselia to consistently check Pokemon such as Great Tusk. Eject Button allows Cresselia to pivot once, preventing momentum from getting loss from pivoting traditionally. (Could also mention that this prevents ID Zamazenta from ever beating it, since the standard Ice Beam Cresselia can't really deal much meaningful damage back itself) Steel is the preferred terastillization option, turning Cresselia's weakness to U-Turn into a resistance and making it immune to Toxic while also synergising well with its ability Levitate, granting an immunity to Ground-type moves, allowing Cresselia to wall Pokemon such as Kyurem and Gliscor while having a positive match-up into Dragonite. (Just added a tiny bit of description of how they get chipped. You could also mention that Eject Button is particularly good on Sun, as it gives you a free switch into these sun sweepers like Wake / Venu) In return, the weather boosts Cresselia's healing to absurd levels, healing 66% of its health with Moonlight under the sun, allowing it stay continually healthy until its Lunar Dance is needed. Cresselia may also fit on sand teams, due to its valuable resistance to Fighting-moves and immunity to Ground-moves which target common sand abusers, such as Tyranitar and Excadrill, though one must be conscious about the nerfed Moonlight. (From what in particular? This is definitely a very good point, but it's better to list what Pokemon they're being used to check rather than just moves the reader should already have in mind from the type chart) Ogerpon-Wellspring appreciates Cresselia's ability to paralyse foes that would usually outspeed it, such as Cinderance, Dragapult, Tornadus-T and Booster Speed Iron Moth, as well as Lunar Dance support, since Ogerpon-Wellspring is susceptible to entry hazard damage and chip damage. Particularly, Cresselia helps dealing good damage with supereffective moves to by having ways to hit (Generally better to not focus too hard on emphasising the type matchups, since the reader should know Ice Beam is SE against Dragonite for example) the Dragon-types that can switch in on and threaten Ogerpon-Wellspring, with Ice Beam for Dragonite and Hydrapple, and Moonblast for Kyurem. Cresselia also helps in the Ogerpon-Wellspring mirror match, tanking its STAB moves and crippling it in return with Thunder Wave. [SET COMMENTS]
Cresselia leverages its fantastic bulk and support options to have an interesting niche in the tier, checking threats such as Zamazenta and Iron Valiant while supporting its teammates with paralysis and Lunar Dance support. Lunar Dance is crucial on this set, allowing Cresselia to knock itself out in a pinch (RC) escaping and escape bad matchups like Kingambit and Gholdengo, while healing an ally to full health. Ice Beam allows Cresselia to super effectively hit Pokemon such as Dragonite, Landorus-T, and Gliscor. Moonblast is an alternative option, letting Cresselia to not be avoid being walled by Dark-types such as Darkrai and Samurott-Hisui Hisuian Samurott. Cresselia can also opt to use Psychic as a STAB attack, allowing it to better deal with Pokemon like Zamazenta and Great Tusk. Thunder Wave serves to cripple foes that Cresselia couldn't otherwise deal with, such as Ogerpon-Wellspring Ogerpon-W, Dragapult, Darkrai, (AC) and Tornadus-T. Moonlight serves as recovery keeps Cresselia healthy, allowing Cresselia to letting it consistently check Pokemon such as Great Tusk. Eject Button allows Cresselia to pivot once, preventing momentum from getting loss the loss of momentum from pivoting traditionally. Eject Button being a consumable item has the additional benefit of weakening Knock Off from strong attackers such as Swords Dance Gliscor and Meowscarada. Rocky Helmet is an alternative choice, punishing attacks contact moves such as Rapid Spin from Great Tusk and Iron Treads, Flip Turn from Alomomola, and the ever-present U-Turn U-turn from Pokemon foes like Landorus-T, Corviknight, Cinderance Cinderace, (AC) and Moltres. It also prevents Ice Beam Cresselia from losing to Iron Defence Defense Zamazenta, since Cresselia cannot deal meaningful damage otherwise. Steel is the preferred terastillization Terastallization option, turning Cresselia's weakness to U-turn into a resistance and making it immune to Toxic while also synergising as well as synergizing well with its ability Levitate, allowing Cresselia it to wall Pokemon such as Kyurem and Gliscor while having a positive match-up into improving its matchup against Dragonite. Tera Fairy is another option, allowing Cresselia to still resist U-Turn while also resisting Dark-type moves such as the prevalent Knock Offs of the tier Off and Darkrai's Dark Pulse, while also boosting Moonblast's damage boost Moonblast's damage output, and still resist U-turn.

Cresselia best fits on fast paced fast-paced teams that appreciate its support options, while making up for its general passivity. It notably synergises synergizes well with sun teams, with the setters like Torkoal and Ninetales being very susceptible to chip damage from entry hazard chip hazards, while teammates that take advantage of sun abusers such as Life Orb Venusaur, Great Tusk, Raging Bolt, (AC) and Walking Wake get regularly chipped down by trading HP and taking damage from hazards; (ASC) therefore, thus Lunar Dance support is very much coveted appreciated. Eject Button is the preferred item of choice, (AC) as it allows Cresselia to perform the role of a safe pivot, giving a free switch to the aforementioned sun abusers teammates, which is invaluable with given the limited sun turns. (For future reference, the term "abuser" is not allowed while writing an analysis.) In return, the weather boosts Cresselia's healing to absurd levels, healing 66% of its health with Moonlight under the sun, allowing it to consistently stay continually healthy until its Lunar Dance is needed. Cresselia synergises synergizes well with teams other more than weather just sun teams. (Swapped out "weather" to avoid implying that Cresselia is used on other weather teams) Dark-types such as Kingambit, Darkrai, and Hisuian Samurott all appreciates Cresselia's ability to check appreciate Cresselia checking Fighting-type Pokemon like Zamazenta and Iron Valiant. In return, Dark-type Pokemon these Dark-types support Cresselia by resisting the Dark switching into Ghost- and Ghost-type Dark-type moves that it is weak to, such as Shadow Ball from Gholdengo and Dragapult, and Knock Off from Pokemon like Samurott-Hisui Hisuian Samurott and Tyranitar. Ogerpon-Wellspring Ogerpon-W appreciates Cresselia's ability to paralyse Cresselia paralyzing foes that would usually outspeed it, such as Cinderance Cinderace, Dragapult, Tornadus-T, (AC) and Speed Booster Speed Energy Iron Moth, as well as Lunar Dance support, since Ogerpon-Wellspring Ogerpon-W is susceptible to entry hazard damage being worn down by hazards and other forms of chip damage. Particularly, Cresselia helps by having ways to hit the hits Dragon-types that can switch in on and threaten Ogerpon-Wellspring, with Ogerpon-W by using Ice Beam for Dragonite and Hydrapple, and Moonblast for Kyurem. Cresselia also helps in the Ogerpon-Wellspring mirror match handles opposing Ogerpon-W, tanking taking its STAB moves and crippling it in return with Thunder Wave. In return, Ogerpon-Wellspring Ogerpon-W can deal with the bulky Ground-type Pokemon that can switch-in on switch into Thunder Wave and shrug off Cresselia's attacks, such as Ting-Lu, Iron Treads, (AC) and Ursaluna. Cresselia also makes for a great partner for Raging Bolt, as it can switch in on the into Ground-type attacks (RC) that Raging Bolt is weak to such as Great Tusk's Headlong Rush and Earthquake from Pokemon foes such as Gliscor and Dragonite (RC) that Raging Bolt is weak to. Paralysis support allows Raging Bolt to outspeed opposing Dragon-types like Dragapult, Kyurem, and Walking Wake (RC) allowing it to and eliminate them with its Dragon-type STAB options. Thunder Wave can also slow down other opponents foes, such as Enamorus, Iron Valiant, and Zamazenta, removing Raging Bolt's reliance on Thunderclap. In return, Raging Bolt can check Zapdos, which can block blocks Thunder Wave, and as well as bulky Water-types that don't mind paralysis, such as Alomomola and Dondozo. Cresselia is on the passive side, which leaves it vulnerable to being setup fodder for Pokemon such as Gholdengo, Raging Bolt, (AC) and Substitute Zamazenta. Pokemon Teammates that deal with such threats are greatly appreciated by Cresselia, such as Encore Iron Valiant, Roar Zamazenta, (AC) and Whirlwind Ting-Lu. In a similar vein, Kingambit can easily set-up set up on Cresselia and threaten it with its Dark- Dark-type STAB options, so allies that check it such as Great Tusk and Zamazenta are valuable.
