Generic intro. Basically an uber RMT. I'm not very experienced in uber battling and would like some suggestions.
Team at a glance
Latios @ Soul Dew
Trait: Levitate
68 HP / 188 Spe / 252 SpA
Timid Nature (+Spe, -Atk)
- Draco Meteor
- Grass Knot
- Hidden Power Ground
- Recover
Leading Latios. Chosen over Latias for its ability to OHKO Mewtwo and 2HKO Tyranitar. HP Ground is for Steel-types, Heatran in particular. EVs allows it to outspeed Jolly Garchomp, maxed out SpA, and the rest dumped in HP for more durability.
Groudon @ Salac Berry
Trait: Drought
12 HP / 244 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature (+Spe, -SpA)
- Substitute
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
Tyranitar/Metagross pseudo-counter, but most importantly, Blissey counter. A giant "screw you" to Giratina.
Mewtwo @ Life Orb
Trait: Pressure
42 HP / 252 SpA / 216 Spe
Timid Nature (+Spe, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Substitute
- Ice Beam
- Aura Sphere
This sets up on Blissey quite nicely. After a Calm Mind, none of Blissey's special attacks breaks Mewtwo's Sub IIRC. After two Calm Minds, Aura Sphere is a 2HKO on all Blissey. However, I'm considering having this replaced, preferably with a Blissey counter.
Lugia @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
252 HP / 52 Def / 204 Spe
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Reflect
- Whirlwind
- Roost
- Ice Beam
Primary Groudon/Metagross/Rayquaza counter. I just used the Smogon analysis, does anyone know what the speed is for? I assume to outspeed Groudon to Roost stall.
Blissey @ Leftovers
Trait: Natural Cure
252 Def / 252 SpD / 4 HP
Calm Nature (+SpD, -Atk)
- Seismic Toss
- Charm
- Softboiled
- Thunder Wave
Charm works great, allows Blissey to take some physical hits, like MixedIalga Brick Break, for example. Seismic Toss is just more reliable than Thunder/Ice Beam or whateverm, for me.
Registeel @ Leftovers
Trait: Clear Body
252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature (+SpD, -SpA)
- Stealth Rock
- Toxic/Thunder Wave
- Explosion
- Ice Punch
I needed a utility Pokemon, something with overall bulk and a lot of resistances, and Registeel fit the bill perfectly.
---
I think my biggest problem is a lack of Blissey counter. Train Man suggested I replace Registeel with a strong Physical attacker like Groudon to help solve this problem. (btw, my Shoddy name is pigskin)
Something else that isn't as important but still is worth noting is a lack of status absorber.
