LET'S GET THIS PARTY STARTED.
KICK IT LIKE IT'S 1990, YO.

...anyway.

dpmfa437.png

Bronzong @ Leftovers [Ouverture]
Levitate
Sassy
252 hp/216 def/40 SpD
-Earthquake
-Stealth Rock
-Hypnosis
-Explosion

Jirachi replacement, meant to get in there, SR up, hypno the lead, cause a bit of damage, then explode when it's done. Straightforward and self-explanatory; thanks to MoP for suggesting.

dpmfa248.png

Tyranitar @ Leftovers [Rollin]
Sand Stream
Brave (+Atk -Speed)
252 hp/188 SpA/60 def/8 atk
-Substitute
-Focus Punch
-Fire Blast
-Ice Beam

If things look safe after the Jirachi switch, i.e. no Close Combat/Earthquake in sight, I usually switch to Tyranitar to summon a Sandstorm and set up Substitute. Tyranitar becomes beastly with the extra SpD, and I tacked on some Defense from the Speed in the Tyraniboah set to make it even bulkier. It's Brave to keep random Abomasnows from switching in at the same time and fucking me up. But other than that, it's just your standard SS setup.
I'd like to up its defenses a bit, if someone can help me (again) tweak the EVs for me.

dpmfa445.png

Garchomp @ Brightpowder [Scratchin]
Sand Veil
Hasty (+Speed -Def)
252 atk/252 speed/6 spatk
-Earthquake
-Dragon Claw
-Fire Blast
-Substitute

Brightpowderchomp: the bane of pretty much everyone's existence. Sand Veil+Brightpowder+SS= 28% evasion increase, and then with a Sub up it's... I forget the exact number, but it's very very low. ^_^
I forgoed SD on the original set for Fire Blast to hit the problematic Skarmory and Bronzong with a little more oomph. He gets in there, and, well, rapes it up.
My request for this guy is that the EVs (last time I swear!) be tweaked to OHKO-2HKO Skarmory and Bronzong.

dpmfa473.png

Mamoswine @ Choice Band [Voyager]
Snow Cloak
Adamant (+Atk -SpA)
252 atk/232 spd/24 hp
-Earthquake
-Ice Shard
-Stone Edge
-Peck

Standard CB Mamoswine is standard. Peck is there for a little more Heracross coverage, but I'll remove it for Ice Fang (GrowthTran coverage) if need be.

dpmfa130.png

Gyarados@Leftovers [Phoenix]
Intimidate
Adamant

212 HP / 16 Atk / 180 Def / 100 SpD
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
-Avalanche
-Taunt

My Kingdra replacement, as suggested by... a lot of you. Helps against Garchomp, Lucario, and Gyarados, who otherwise play with this team like a cat and a piece of string. Also helps against Heracross.

dpmfa462.png

Magnezone@Choice Scarf [Crescendol]
Magnet Pull
Mild
88 Atk / 248 SpA / 172 Spe
-Thunderbolt
-HP Ice
-Flash Cannon
-Explosion

My main special attacking threat, Magnezone helps me revenge kill Gyarados and Garchomp, then wreaking havoc with the other team and exploding when done.

I'll have the threatlist up later, right now I have to eat lunch.

Thanks for any help you guys can dig up.

SirRaven out.

Well at a glance I can see that the team is way too offensive and would have problems with stuff like Garchomp, Tyranitar, and Gyarados ect.

First off I would replace Jirachi with Skarmory instead. You need the Ground immunity and it will help against studd like Mamoswine and Garchomp. The standard set works fine.

Next I would replace Kingdra with Vaporeon for the wish support and to help against Infernape and Gyarados. You have enough sweepers and Garchomp or Azelf can sweep late game anyways.

Consider Scarf on Azelf. Life Orb wears it out too fast in the sand and you don't have a good revenge killer.

Rollin' & Scratchin'. Clever. :D

I think SDcario will have fun with your team if you let it; garchomp seems like the only way to stop it. Any move that chomp uses will make a great switch in for gyarados, who you betta' pray isn't using ice fang.

N E WAY cool team. It's good to see another daft punk one out there, but now we've done all there albums. We're making a team together; "ALIVE 2007".

Hm, that could work, but then I lose the ability to Explode on Blissey with more oomph. I admit SS could be a problem for it... ;_;

I try.

Mamoswine might be able to get an EQ in there against SDLuke. But I c wut u did thar.
True. I need a fifth slot and U-Turn. ^_^

You bet your Aussie ass.
Edit: We could always do a Daft Club one first. ;]

Why don't you just make it more offensive and add in a Gyarados over Kingdra. At least its offense is consistent and reliable and not on a paltry what, 10%? 20%? 30% whatever the hell it is. Gyarados can also help you with Heracross, who otherwise would just randomly rape the team like no other.

Another thing we can do is add Bronzong over Jirachi. It can still Stealth Rocks just as fine, but improves defense thanks to it's great resistences. Sleeping something doesnt hurt either, and just blow up when you're done.

Run Jolly and max speed on that Mamoswine to outspeed Adamant Lucario by a few points, if it's jolly however it wins and it could be pretty much 'gg'.

Ehh... you make a forceful point. Are you thinking BulkyGyara or something more unorthodox? Also, I lose a lot of my special attacking power if I do that.

I always forget about Bronzong. xD Adding now.

Don't most SDLukes run Jolly anyway because of the boost they get from Swords Dance? ;_;

12+ Hour Bump.

it bugs me that toxic spikes completely shuts you down and that nothing takes status. zap cannon forry could be interesting.

hyperoffensive teams can work (snes master Ki is a pretty good example) but this one doest seem "relentless" enough. maybe try sd yache chomp

almost all sd lukes are adamant due to LO+SD ES taking care of alot of stuff

edit: i have to admit, sub fire blast is cool for luring out skarm !

Actually field hazards in general tear this team in two. Not just Toxic Spikes but even Spikes themselves just eat up the team. No one is going to like all that residual damage that you're recieving.

Kingdra: I recommend Focus Energy for a good reason: better chances with Sniper.

I'm going to go on a stretch here and say that ScarfChomp / SDLucario / Gyarados with Ice Fang / Waterfall / Stone Edge (or Earthquake) / DDance tear this team to shreds. I might say try to go a bit more bulkier and maybe slap something that can take hits. Gyarados seems like an alright suggestion, but I'd consider using a SleepTalker, some bulkier sweepers, etc. And I personally want to say that I don't think Kingdra really... works... here.

So yeah the general consensus I'm getting is 'drop Kingdra, get something that can handle Garchomp, Gyarados, and Lucario.'

I'm thinking about adding in an almost-all Defense Gyarados w/ Ice Fang/EQ/Stone Edge/Waterfall (i.e. BulkyGyara with even more Defense pumped in, or even a Sleeptalking Gyarados, but that doesn't really help me with other Gyaradoses. (Gyaradosi?)).

Yes/no?

edit: Anyone have an idea for the Spikes/TSpikes problem?

Well, you can play it to where they won't like to set Spikes at any point. Provided the only two Spikers youll see are Forretress and Skarmory, you have Bronzong who can sleep, you can make it to where Tar is holding a fire move, Garchomp has Blast, I'd probably slap Blizzard onto Mamoswine, 2hko's Skarmory while EQ already 2hko's Forretress. Then you have a Water type and Azelf.

And if all else fails, just slap a Magnezone over Azelf. This would allow you to also remove Fire Blast from from Garchomp, and should you Scarf it, you can still revenge kill BulkyGyaradoses and NonScarf Garchomps. It can still blow up as well!!

Blizzard on Mamoswine would seem kinda redundant to me with its crappy accuracy and the fact that Tar and Garchomp [will] have Fire moves, along with Thunderbolt on Azelf. I think the Spikers will be covered then...

I am now in love with the idea of Magnezone over Azelf.

What about

Magnezone@Choice Scarf
Magnet Pull
Mild
88 HP / 88 Atk / 248 SpA / 84 Spe
-Thunderbolt
-HP Ice
-Flash Cannon
-Explosion

over Azelf? I think I'll keep Fire Blast on Garchomp though, just for a bit of extra leeway.
