After being disappointed by my last team's speed I decided to start from scratch and make this team a bit more up tempo. I found that electivire was a problem, but what I end up doing is just have Gliscor take the Ice Punch and then ko it. Umm I also have troubles with stall teams even though I've got starmie. Maybe it's just something I have to work with but stall teams are just annoying for me.

Gliscor
Nature: Impish
Item: Leftovers
Ev's: 252 Hp/ 252 Def/ 6 Att
Ability: Sand Veil
Moveset:
Roost
Earthquake
Stealth Rock
Ice Fang

Basically my physical wall, I often times switch out being a starter but I don't really see the problem in that. Blissey basically covers the spec and if it is a phys then I just have a chance to stealth rock. Main Heracross and Lucario counter. All around I try to keep this guy in as long as possible for the people who like to bring Lucario in late.

Blissey
Nature: Bold
Item: Leftovers
Ev's: 148 Hp/104 Spec Att/ 252 Sp Def/ 6 Speed
Ability: Natural Cure
Moveset:
Seismic Toss
Thunder-Wave
Ice Beam
Softboiled

Basically my main special wall, handles starmie and company fairly well. My obvious switch in on specmence expecting the draco meteor. I basically at that point use t-wave expecting the switch. Not really much to be said here, basically the standard set...

Heracross
Nature: Adamant
Item: Choice Scarf/ Choice Band
Ev's: 252 Att/ 252 Spe/ 6 Hp
Ability: Guts
Moveset:
Close Combat
Megahorn
Night Slash
Stone Edge

My main physical sweeper, I have been debating whether to make this guy scarfed or banded. So ya I need help in that department. I love switching this guy in on a blissey that has toxic or even after a tentacruel has done its toxic spikes. Umm again my main Dusknoir counter with night slash.

Suicune
Nature: Bold
Item: Leftovers
Ev's: 252 Hp/ 252 Def/ 6 Spec Att
Ability: Pressure
Moveset:
Hidden Power Electric
Ice Beam
Surf
Calm Mind

Well, I know what your thinking. My moveset is all wrong, but I really have not found any success with Rest even roar as it is. Umm even without a recovery move I've still swepped numerous teams late game with calm minding up and thats that. My main gyarados counter and a much needed weavile counter.

Starmie
Nature: Timid
Item: Leftovers
Ev's: 172 Hp/ 216 Spe/ 120 Sp Att
Ability: Natural Cure
Moveset:
Rapid Spin
Ice Beam
Surf
Recover

My rapid spinner of my team. I use this guy A LOT in almost every battle. I didn't really think I needed thunderbolt so it would be interesting to see what you guys have to think about it. Umm the ev's still allow it to outspeed a lot of things so thats pretty much it.

Swellow
Nature: Adamant
Item: Flame Orb
Ev's: 252 Att/ 252 Spe/ 6 Spec Def
Ability: Guts
Moveset:
Brave Bird
Facade
Quick Attack
U-Turn

My main late game sweeper, I found this guy to be very useful especially when putting him in on something he can quick attack thus allowing for the free turn to activate guts and kill the opponents pokemon. Umm pretty much self explanitory.

I personally wouldn't lead with Gliscor. The threat of Azelf, Weavile, Salamence and Gyarados all love Gliscor like prisoners like Jewish people. Bronzong and Hippowdon also have the upperhand as well, which is just as embarrassing as an uncircumcised Jewish boy. Suicune in the lead is much better, as it at least scares of Salamence, Gyarados, Bronzong, Hippowdon, Tyranitar, and other Gliscors like the Jews feared Nazis in the 1940's.

What I'd also like to do is change up Starmie for Tentacruel, who's Toxic Spikes can help your own Suicune not get walled by Vaporeon in later game, as well as absorb up Toxic Spikes, which would annoy be annoying to Blissey who has to switch into so many Special attacks. If Tentacruel's lack of recovery is troublesome, I'd suggest Wish onto Blissey. I'd also add Rest over probably Ice Beam on Suicune. As a starter, Suicune is just bluffing IB, as most Sala users won't risk it. Rest will prevent any status that would actually stop you from sweeping later game.

Thank you for all the Jewish analogize... But really that did help me. I was thinking of making my starter suicune but never got around to it. Umm but what really caught my eye in what you posted was tentacruel over starmie. I really like that idea. I'll talk it over with some people and thanks again for the ideas.

Edit: I actually like the toxic spikes actually to a certain degree. I normally let tentacruel or w/e use toxic spikes then switch to hera. Then when/if he switches to a counter I just switch to starmie to rapid spin away. So I'm actually leaning towards starmie on this one. IT was a good idea until I looked over my team ie heracross. Umm I was wondering on heracross choice band or scarf?

Well you already have Swellow, and the gap between Swellow and a ScarfHera is basically: Weavile, Jolteon, Crobat, Aerodactyl. Those don't seem to be that big of an issue, so it's probably better if you just abuse Guts+Choice Band combined to pretty much rape anything.

Swellow burns out a bit too quickly for this team. If your opponent has any steel type, or even gliscor, it will be rendered useless. Horrible defenses, few resists, and SR weak don't help either.

Scarf Metagross or Lucario would be good replacements. They also give a strong physical presence, and your team deals with their weaks nicely. Bronzong would also work if you're looking for more defense, and would allow gliscor to knock off or taunt (though with bronzong you will need Tentacruel for toxic spikes and rest or rest/talk on suicune, otherwise the team will be in trouble if Hera goes down). Any of these would also eliminate the 3x electric weak.

Good Luck; Hope this Helps! --TAY

I can't really agree with you on the fact that my team has no defenses... 3/6 of my pokes are mainly walls. I might go with choice band on hera instead... still need a little more feedback yet though on that subject..

I was referring to swellow's defenses, which, at 60/60/50, are definitely terrible.

EDIT: my post count is a power of two.

Err, well thats a personal preference then. I'm most certainly not implying that swellow should take any hits so why would its defenses be of matter? Same could be said about infernape and company.
