A UU to OU conversion.

OK. So for a while, I've been playing in UU and my Bellyspeed Linoone team seems to do great consistently, with the occasional loss. But then I was challenged by a couple of OU teams and as expected, I didn't have the same consistency. Well to get to the point, I need help converting my team into a viable OU team, while still keeping it my team.

Changes in red.

Granbull (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP/40 Atk/216 Def
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Crunch
- Close Combat
- Return
- Charm
Now Granbull is my opener and supporter. Intimidate helps against some physical openers, and the whole normal typing just draws in physical attackers in for a Charm. Heal Bell is actually very rarely used so I'm considering taking it off.


Drifblim (M) @ Liechi Berry
Ability: Unburden
EVs: 12 HP/80 Def/200 Spd/216 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Baton Pass
- Substitute
- Shadow Ball
- Hypnosis
Drifblim is great for switching in on a fighting attack and BPing a giant Sub/Liechi boost. Hypnosis misses a lot so that is pretty useless and only having Shadow Ball leaves him completely walled by normals.


Linoone (F) @ Salac Berry
Ability: Gluttony
EVs: 108 HP/252 Atk/8 Def/136 Spd/4 SDef
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Extremespeed
- Belly Drum
- Shadow Claw
- Dig
After being passed a sub and getting off a Belly Drum which activates the Salac to boost the speed, this thing is a beast. It can OHKO most with extremespeed and has shadow claw for those pesky ghost. And dig is actually useful because if they switch in a flying type, I just use extremespeed to kill it. The only problem is that if I don't get that Sub up, he's doomed.


Grumpig (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 252 HP/236 Spd/20 SDef
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Substitute
- Psychic
- Hidden Power [Bug]
Just my Sp. Sweeper. Sub, CM then HP or Psychic, depending on the opposing poke. I'm open to change.

Magnezone @ Leftovers
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 172 HP/84 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Magnet Rise
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Ice]

Miltank (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Scrappy
EVs: 252 HP/224 Def/32 Spd
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Body Slam
- Earthquake
- Heal Bell
- Milk Drink

This team is in sever need of a spinner...
 
So far, from just skimming, I see that Skarmory and Infernape have a party with this team. I don't know what to suggest about it, but 3 pokes get OHKO'd by a CC from Ape.

Grumpigs Psychic counters the ape and Lanturn has bolt beam for Skarm
 
Granbull could use Close Combat and that means you free up dig from linoone.

I dont like that you are using 3 normal types that all have trouble against any decent defensive pokemon. I don't see how you could compete in OU with this team.

I guess I just happen to play bad players.
 
If you are willing to replace some of your UU's for OU's then I think Magnezone is the first poke you should consider. It would be the best way to get rid of the steel types that would normally completely wall a Linoone sweep.
