252 HP, 160 Def, 96 Speed Timid Nature Salamence running Dragon Dance/Roost/Dragon Claw/Earthquake which works wonderfully as a defensive pokemon coupled with Intimidate on the swap in and can clean up pieces of the other team amazingly well.

I got that from the salamence vs d-nite thread.

My pokemon has pokerus and is holding a power ankelt. if i fight a pokemon that gives 3 attack evs, do i get this amount of evs?

2(3at +4spe)= 6at and 8spe evs
 
Lets say I'm breeding a Gliscor... the parents have the following IVs:

31/31/31/29/26/31 (Male) and X/31/31/X/31/X (Female)

and here are the level 5 stats that correspond to a 31 IV

HP: 23 Att: 14 Def: 18 SpA: 9 SpD: 13 Spe: 15

these are all according to Metalkid's IV Calculator

So here's my question. Is it possible to have level 5 stats different from the ones shown above and at the same time be 30 / 31? Or if the calculator shows only up to 29 it wouldn't be any higher.

(I know this sounds dumb but I've seen a few times where I rare candy above level 5 and the calculator shows a different output)

Are you asking for iv ranges that will get you the certain stats?

In order to get those numbers at level 5 you can have these iv ranges:
30-31 / 30-31 / 30-31 / 30-31 / 30-31 / 30-31
 
Has anybody else ever had a pokemon that won't evolve through happiness? I have a level 85 Cleffa that won't evolve. I've given it all of the EV drugs, wiped them clean with berries and given them to it again several times while rare candying and he won't evolve. My other Cleffa evolved at level 20 something with the same method =/

Did you ever try battling with it?
 
Yeah, I killed about 50 things with it and that didn't help, though that was never how I evolved anything else through happiness anyway.
 
BAHAHAHAHA... Wow I feel stupid. Who else remembers that the Everstone stops things from evolving? I had it attached because I was going to use it to breed with =/
 
How much is the power of moves such as Blizzard, Eruption, etc. cut in double battles? I think I heard they worked at 85% strength but I can't remember.
 
Hmmm recently I traded a copy of my Gamestop Deoxys and in turn received a questionable Garchomp. Can someone tell me or point me in the direction of how to check for hacks. If the Chomp is illegal it's worthless to me and I won't be using it until I know for sure. Thanks.

If the "hack" isn't blatantly obvious then try to get somebody else to hack check it for you because nobody that knows how to "hack check" will explain how it is done to other people. Also it might be good for you to read this announcement here and this other thread. To put it bluntly, if you don't trust the person you are trading with then why the hell did you trade? use common sense instead of relying on hack checks.
 
Unless you have an AR there is no way to check IVs without leveling up the pokemon. You can battle wild pokemon of high level to gain exp but you will have to keep count of the EVs gained or you can put them in the day care but you risk them losing their egg moves.
Using rare candies is the safer way of checking IVs if you don't have an AR, if you don't want to waste rare candies then instead of SRing the egg you might want to mass hatch, save, check IVs and then reset when you know which one to keep.
 
Well, I cloned it through GTS first so it's not like I'm out a Deoxys. Thanks anyway!
 
I've got a lot of Pokemon from trades, they got to PBR without being bad eggs, and visually, they don't appear to be hacked.
Can I attend to a local tourney without worries? Do places like this have something like a hack-checker?

Why is there 2 wishes? I think T-Wave could be replaced, but if your team is slow, keep t-
wave.

My question: What kind of Moveset/EV Spread should a leading Deoxys-E have?
