I like your design Maniac. The only thing I'm a bit picky about is that it's really dark. Could you possibly make a second version that's lighter to compare it to?

I'd say this design is much niftier than your other one, but... for some reason, it has a distinctly "Sonic" or Sega feel to it... just my thoughts.
remove the flames and replace it with poisonous bubbles. color it brownish to represent the ground, etc. and we will have a winner. the concept is great.
maybe ur thinkin that because of the long arms/legs, short torso thing goin on, but i can honestly tell you that i didnt even think about sega when i drew him i just thought of how he needed to have a quick look to him and i think the arms and legs fit him perfectly
yeah im with you i forgot to mention the color would need to be brownish, and hey, those arent flames those are nuclear gas acids

OMFG sexyalejandro, that pic is enough to give anyone a fear of spiders!
And salamence, that earth zombie, although a little clownish, looks pretty cool! It seems it could believably pull off the support moves people want to give it.
Seems to me that every CAP the artwork has been getting better and better.
I like the smog imp too, and I agree with the post that suggested a little fang. I think one would do nicely.

Wow...this is really something. It looks great there and the overall appearance is cool. He does look "Sonic the Hedgehog" like, but that's what make him cool in my eyes.
Also the things that are coming out of him are toxic fumes.
well i did kinda write what they were......but sadly it will be hard for me to color it because......i really dont know how to paint it and stuff..snif,snif but if someone could do it for me it would be greatly appreciated

Ok, so here's my first draft of my idea: an armadillo. I just really wanted to get away from the whole bug idea, and I also felt like there are too many lizard Pokemon (especially given that the winner of the last CAP was also a lizard).
I apologize for the bad image quality- I took a picture of it with my cell phone. I'll have a better one after I finalize my idea and color it. Anyway, all the spikes on it are poisonous, as you can tell from my notes on the picture. I also liked Maniac's gem idea, so I put a few gems on my guy too. I also made it more defensive looking since a lot of the stat spreads being submitted seem to favor defense over offense, whether by a lot or just a little.
I can easily picture this guy using Rapid Spin by rolling up into a ball and well, spinning. The bottom left picture is of it staring at a star, so presumably using Wish. Let me know what you guys think!

what ill probably do is pencil color him and then post it if my pokemon still has peoples interest

You know, I really like the Armadillo design. If you developed the whole 'mystic' thing with the star and the jewels I think it fits incredibly well. I can see it being quite fast, especially if it moves primarily through rolling, and it obviously is defensive. It fits the stat spreads that people have been throwing out, and there are plenty of moves it could learn.
Well-done, Sanglunaria. That being said, any chance you can make the tail more fan-like, in a Milotic manner? Just trying to find plausible excuses for "Tailwind", in this case, instead of wind coming from behind, literally wind coming from the tail.

Sufficiently-descriptive adjectives fail some people. I think he means Charmander : fire :: *Armordillo* : mini-cyclone. Like a tornado, only smaller, and the tip connected to its tail.
why not have a tiny tornado type thing at the end of the tail?
What do you mean by "tiny tornado type thing"? (Example from an existing Pokemon?) Right now, I'm imagining that you mean something like Spoink's tail. @_@
