so what do you do to a lucario while it sets up. The only thing you can do is switch which by then will already have a sword dance under its belt

Also make sure that it has a remainder of one. I'm not sure if the game will allow a pokemon to have 3 hp left after 4 substitutes. I guess that could be a simple question.
As long as you know your WEP # it should. Make sure that you're not getting interferencefrom anything else either and that it's close enough to the router you're using.

I think your best bet is in Emerald where the Natures / IVs are determined when you select which one will be running around. (In other words, after the first time you've beaten the Elite Four, you can't save if you've gone downstairs.)
That's what I've heard people here say, anyways. I'm doing it via the Eon Ticket method so I'm not speaking from experience.
If you have high speed internet (I'm assuming you do since your wii can connect) then check the router. It should be on the side but check on the bottom and top too. If you can't find it then call the company you got your internet from and ask if they know your WEP #. The latter takes a while so I would suggest trying to find it on your own.

ebay obviously but they end up being sold for $30 minimum from what I've seen so IMO buying an AR is the cheapest option. Besides don't kid yourself, even if you bought an AR you wouldn't be the one hacking :P leave that term to real hackers.
