Would Naughty on a Swellow work for anything?
On the Magnezone page, it says that it has to outspeed Skarmory. Why is that? How can Skarmory pose a threat to Magnezone?
Could also be so that you can pull off an electric attack before it has a chance to Roost.
If it roosted continually, then it would just recieve damage each turn until it died, wouldn't it? Skarmory's special defense isn't that high, so a max special attack Magnezone would be able to KO it, even after a couple roosts.
Which is what I'd think, too, although commonly you want to outrun roost-using pokemon so that you can hit it while it has its flying type.
I suppose another possible reason is to take it out before it has a chance to put Stealth Rock or Spikes up before it dies.
I'm kinda eh with egg moves and tutor moves when breeding, so if I teach Counter to a Houndour via the move tutor, can it be passed down through breeding? [Counter is an Emerald tutor move, right?]
Yeah, I suppose so. I just thought it was weird, because roost doesn't heal more damage than thunderbolt deals neutrally, so Skarmory wouldn't last more than a couple turns.But three layers of spikes or a layer of stealth rock could be bad for a team without a spinner.
Tutor Moves cannot be passed on through breeding.
Unless the tutor move happens to be an Egg move.
Pretty sure Whirlwind has negative priority, like Roar? Or am I mistaken?
Are there any requirements that need to be fulfilled in order to transfer Pokemon from Colosseum to FR/Sapphire?

Does it have any ribbons? Maybe it has friendship? I had the same problem once, but I was planning to restart my game anyway so it didn't matter.
It is the last Pokemon in his possession capable of learning the HMs? It has been stalking him, taking pictures of him in his sleep, and uploading them to the internet?
Anyone have any advice for breeding for this situation?

I'm resetting an egg (hard resetting, as I don't own an R4), and, after 4 hours tonight of doing so, 250 - 300 eggs later, my pokemon aren't passing on more than 1 stat (and it's 60% of the time one of the xs). Anyone have some insight as to what's happening? I was chaulking it up to bad luck at first, but, 4 hours and 300 eggs worth? thanks.
