Whats the Sp. Atk req. to OHKO w/ UNSTAB Ice Beam Chomp without SR Damage?

Whats the Sp. Atk req. to OHKO w/ UNSTAB Ice Beam Chomp without SR Damage with LO?

@Ghandi

269 SPA Ice Beam always OHKOs 6hp Garchomp

Since LO adds 30% damage, maybe somewhere near 190 SpA? Not really sure about this.

EDIT: I figured it out with a calculator. 208 SpA boosted by life orb reaches 270 Spa, so that would be the minimum

I'm breeding a Duskull in Emerald and I would like to know what move tutor moves should I teach it to increase it's trade value? I have access to all Emerald and all Leafgreen tutor moves.

Wow, that's actually pretty awesome. I'm saving these facts, thanks. (Although I didn't ask the question lol)

edit:

Question:

I just thought of something.

What do badges do to your Pokemon when you get them? I.E. in FireRed Brock says something like your Pokemon's defense will get boosted or something.
So what do they do? Do they distribute some sort of EVs to your party Pokemon?

It un-nerfs your stats in that stat. They're reduced otherwise, without the badge.

how do you get protect and swordsdance on to a nincada/shedinja

Teach Nincada Protect then level Nincada up to Lv. 25 and let it evolve. Ninjask will try to learn Swords Dance; let it learn it. Shedinja should now know Swords Dance and Protect since everything about Nincada/Ninjask is copied off.

I know because I have one.

oh, and thanks Lorak.
So your Pokemon are nerfed until you get all the badges? O_o'

That's crazy!

Badges? BAAADGES?!?!

We don't need no steeking badges!

ok I have a router question. I have a netgear WNR834M and I cant seem to get the ds to connect, the wii though will. Error code is 52002 if that helps.

Fire/Ice/Thunderpunch is a good start. I'd settle for those three so people can choose what they want, and I have seen Dusknoir use at least one of the punches on pretty much every set, so this gives the trader the choice of what to use.

Dusknoir naturally learns those three punches...

Dusclops/Dusknoir can relearn all the punches with the heartscale tutor in D/P so it would be a waste of BP.

Edit: According to Serebii's page these are the tutor moves dusclops can learn.

From FR/LG/E:
- Mega Punch: useless
- Mega Kick: useless
- Body Slam: paralyze is good but there are better moves it learns naturally.
- Double Edge: : useless because Dusknoir doesn't have good HP and the recoil will kill it.
- Counter: useless because lack of HP means counter hits poorly.
- Seismic toss: I'm pretty sure it learns Night Shade and even then nobody uses it.
- Mimic: gimmicky.
- Metronome: gimmicky.
- Dream Eater: gimmicky.
- Rock Slide: I actually think this one could be good but thunderpunch is generally a better idea.
- Mimic: gimmicky.
- Substitute: is a TM in D/P.

Move tutors exclusive to Emerald:
- Dynamicpunch: without no guard I think is too much of a gamble.
- Psych up: gimmicky.
- Snore: gimmicky.
- Icy Wind: gimmicky.
- Endure: With no flair or reversal I don't see the point.
- Mud Slap: gimmicky.
- Ice Punch: learns it with heartscale in D/P.
- Swagger: gimmicky.
- Sleep Talk: is a TM in D/P.
- Thunderpunch: learns it with heartscale in D/P.
- Fire Punch: learns it with heartscale in D/P.

Hope that helps.

I'd like a few opinions on this: Would a grass type in UU (such as Meganium) benefit more from HP Ice or HP Fire?

Using Meg as an example, Ice allows it to hit fellow grass types for some good damage, and since Meganium has a chance to survive a Swellow and Altaria assault if it is at full hp, it can do some severe damage to both (although roost can be a problem against Altaria). However, with an ice-grass combination of attacks, Meg is completely walled by steels.

On the other hand, HP Fire hits fellow grass types as well for good damage, while offering SE coverage against bugs and steels (most notably Steelix). However, certain steels in UU still take minimal damage from HP Fire, and there is no way for Meg to stand up to a STAB'd Bug Attack from Scyther and maybe Venemoth (memory is foggy on damage calcs lol).

So, which is more useful? Or should I consider a different hidden power altogether?

I've always used HP ice on my meganium in UU so It can stop Altarias.
However, any of the two can be used effectively.

I'm looking for a few specific AR codes, and all need to be compatible with the EU Pearl version:

IV check
Fast Egg hatch
Reset legends (for SRing heatran)

I would be grateful to anyone who could help me out with this, as I am at a loss.

I don't think we are allowed to discuss AR Codes here. Just google them. And there is no Rebattle code for Heatran iirc. And don't double post. :(

Im looking to run a defensive spiritomb with taunt\dark pulse\WoW\Pain split. Its sort of a special version of the stater set listed on the analysis page. The reason i didnt want a pyschical one is beacause i was limited to either pursuit or dark pulse, and neither are useful unless i have both. So i opted for dark pulse, but im wondering how to EV the thing. Right now i have a calm nature with 252 hp 116 def 116 sp def and 20 SPA. Any other ideas?

Some routers just aren't compatible with the DS/Pokemon games. The Wii was made with a wider range of acceptable signals.

You can solve this problem by buying a gadget-thing to plug into your router/pc in order to translate the signal for you, or you can simply just buy a different router--but that would obviously be more expensive.
