My First RMT!

Hey guys! I'm somewhat new to the forums, this is my first day. My friend helped me out with this team, so I was wondering if you guys could help me fix any mistakes. Thanks!

Bronzong - Leftovers
Nature: Relaxed
Ability: Levitate
EV Spread: 252 HP/140 Attack/100 Defense/16 Special Defense
Moves:
Gyro Ball

Hypnosis
Earthquake
Stealth Rock

According to statistics, a Swords Danced Dragon Claw will only do around 30% damage onto this Bronzong. Bronzong is a physical MONSTER, and can wall most things. I can put my would-be threats to sleep with Hypnosis, I can set up Stealth Rock, and Gyro Ball is for Garchomps, Gengars, and Yanmegas.

Gengar - Life Orb
Nature: Hasty
Ability: Levitate
EV Spread: 252 Special Attack/252 Speed/6 HP
Moves:
Shadow Ball
Thunderbolt
Hidden Power Ice
Focus Blast

Gengar is an amazing Special Sweeper, and because of it's awesome speed, it can take down most opponents. Focus Blast and Shadow Ball hit everything in the game for super effective, which can come in handy. ^^ Hidden Power Ice and Thunderbolt also work very well together.

Gliscor - Leftovers
Nature: Impish
Ability: Sand Veil
EV Spread: 252 HP/252 Defense/6 Speed
Moves:
Roost
Ice Fang
Earthquake
Stealth Rock

Gliscor is awesome! It can give my team Stealth Rock support, and it can also take care of Garchomp and Salamence in one move! Earthquake does decent damage to everything that isn't immune to it, which is also another reason I have Ice Fang on this set. Roost is to heal any damage I take. This is also a great Heracross and Lucario counter, something that most of my team can't take care of.

Infernape - Life Orb
Nature: Naive
Ability: Blaze
EV Spread: 24 Attack/252 Special Attack/232 Speed
Moves:
Grass Knot
Close Combat
Hidden Power Ice
Flamethrower

I really like Mixape. It gets such great type coverage, that it's almost impossible to take down! Well, unless someone uses a priority move after I get a Defense drop. Close Combat and Flamethrower do huge amounts of damage to pretty much anything, and Hidden Power Ice can easily take down a Garchomp. Grass Knot can take down Swampert, seeing as apparently I have enough coverage for a Gyarados on my team.

242.png

Blissey - Leftovers
Nature: Bold
Ability: Natural Cure
EV Spread: 252 HP/252 Defense/6 Special Defense
Moves:
Seismic Toss

Softboiled
Toxic
Aromatherapy

Ugh... I feel like such a noob using Blissey! Oh well, it's such a great wall. Toxic works better than Thunder Wave IMO, seeing as if I ever get into a Blissey war, I can wear it down more than just Thunder Wave. Softboiled is just in case I get low health, and Aromatherapy is just in case any of my teammates are statused.

Machamp - Leftovers
Nature: Adamant
Ability: No Guard
Moves:
DynamicPunch

Stone Edge
Rest
Sleep Talk

Machamp is awesome for absorbing sleep, and Sleep Talking! If I'm not going to be using Guts, I might as well take advantage of No Guard and use DynamicPunch. Confusion can come in handy. Stone Edge is because most of my team has Ice moves on it.

Well, thank you guys for reading my first RMT, and I hope you guys can help me out! Thank you again, and all the credit for the pictures goes to Smogon. Thanks!

New changes are in bold. Please try to help me out even further!

i'd give togekiss some sp.A ev's. it's base sp.A is too high and u have too many attacks for it to be set up like a wall.

I think you could spar Gengar the use of Explosion and Focus Blast, and instead give it Substitute and Focus Punch. That combination works really well on Blissey if you're trying to counter it.

Ok... should I keep Life Orb on there? Or should I give it some sort of stat-increasing berry? Otherwise, thanks for the rate!

So you don't run the risk of draining all your Hp with Substitute and Life Orb, I'd say drop it for Petaya Berry to make up for the EVs it lost to it's Attack Stat. It'll work well with Substitute because you can forcably activate it, if needed.

No, please refrain from giving advice if you dont know what your talking about.

Petaya Berry on a Focus Punch set? Supposedly to take down Blissey. All I can say is lol

Please, to all of you. Refrain from giving advice if you dont know what the hell your talking about!

Now on to your team :D

Take out Jolteon he and Gengar seem to be doing the same thing. Both have Shadow Ball and Thunderbolt and redundancy in a team is never good. Plus the set you made for Jolteon was crap anyways.

Replace Jolteon with a Bronzong because a Scarfchomp rapes you with out one. Something like

Bronzong@ Leftovers or Lum Berry
Relaxed
252 Hp/140 Atk/100 Def/ 16 SDef
-Gyro Ball
-Stealth Rock
-Earthhquake
-Hypnosis

The moves are standard. The Atk EVs let OHKO standard Gengar 100% of the time with Gyro Ball. I leaned towards a Physical wall because of Garchomp problem. A SD Dragon Claw only does 30.18% max damage to Bronzong. While Bronzong can put it to sleep and Gyro Ball is a 3HKO iirc.

Loose Focus punch on Gengar its never going to take down Blissey. Use the Standard set seen here. It does what Jolteon would of done but better. You could switch Hypnosis for Hidden Power Ice though.

The other problem I see here is that after Infernape goes down Blissey walls your team, and that's because you lack a physical sweeper. Taking out Ninetales and adding Machamp could fix that and it can absorb sleep too! I would use a this set.

Machamp @ Leftovers
Adamant
252 Hp/ 252 Atk/ 4 Spe
-Dynamic Punch
-Ice Punch/ Stone Edge
-Rest
-Sleep Talk

Blissey problem fixed you added a nice status absorber. If you don't want to add Hidden Power Ice on Gengar you can add Ice Punch to Machamp but if Gengar has that covered you can add Stone Edge to help handling Gyarados which despite what other people said, give you problems.

If you want Togekiss as you Sp. Wall dont use the moves you have on it now. With no recovery or Hp investment it wont stay alive for long. use this set.

Togekiss@ Leftovers
Calm - Nature
252 HP/ 4 Sp.Atk/ 252 Sp. Def
-Roost
-Air Slash
-Light Screen
-Thunder Wave
Max out Hp and SDef. Light Screen to help you take hits, and you still keep your paraflinch moves. Or you could just switch it for Blissey which benefits your team more.

All I could find. Good luck on your team.

Lol @ all of that.

Now on to your team :D

Hooray. ^_^

Take out Jolteon he and Gengar seem to be doing the same thing. Both have Shadow Ball and Thunderbolt and redundancy in a team is never good. Plus the set you made for Jolteon was crap anyways.

Meh. The set for Jolteon wasn't 'crap' per se, but alright, I'll consider taking Jolteon out.

Replace Jolteon with a Bronzong because a Scarfchomp rapes you with out one. Something like

Wow. When you put statistics in there, it really makes it sound like Bronzong can wall the hell out of Garchomp.

I have seen that set before, and I'll switch Hypnosis for Hidden Power Ice, just because I think it needs the extra attacking move. I really do think that Jolteon would work wonders, but alright. I'll think about replacing it.

The other problem I see here is that after Infernape goes down Blissey walls your team, and that's because you lack a physical sweeper. Taking out Ninetales and adding Machamp could fix that and it can absorb sleep too! I would use a this set.

I was actually thinking about Machamp today! I was wondering whether or not to put on my team, and now you bring this up. xD I'll seriously have to consider this.

Machamp @ Leftovers
Adamant
252 Hp/ 252 Atk/ 4 Spe
-Dynamic Punch
-Ice Punch/ Stone Edge
-Rest
-Sleep Talk

Again, since I think I'm going to be putting Hidden Power Ice on Gengar, I'll have to put Stone Edge on Machamp. I'm assuming I should put No Guard on Machamp.

If you want Togekiss as you Sp. Wall dont use the moves you have on it now. With no recovery or Hp investment it wont stay alive for long. use this set.

Actually, now that I think about it, I could use this set, AND still get paraflinch. I'll have to use this set.

All I could find. Good luck on your team.

Thanks a ton! You really helped. ^^

With Bronzong and Dragon Claw. Garchomp with Life Orb Swordsdanced Dagon Claw does 40.83% - 47.93% with 252 attack EV's with the spread that you have
Thats with Life Orb, I was counting the most common variant which is Yache Berry. Of course Life Orb will do more it adds 30% more damage.
