Could somebody please factor leftovers into this

How many Special Attack EV's does a Calm Venusaur need to @2HKO the standard Meganium with sludge bomb?

None. Calm, 0 SpA Venusaur's Sludge Bomb vs. Bold, 216 HP / 0 SpD Meganium: 54% - 64%

How about Celibi? Would probably need Modest for that :/

Actually, you don't have to go Modest at all.

Calm, 96 SpA Venusaur's Sludge Bomb vs. Bold, 252 HP / 0 SpD Celebi: 53% - 62%

If you mean on your opponent then just subtract 6.25% off of the damage calcs. and you will have your answer.

EDIT: First one is 47.75%-57.75%

Second one is 46.75%-55.75%

I'm guessing that's what you were looking for.

I have to bring this up again because 1) all the Moltres I've filtered and caught have had a +Speed nature (which I'm not really complaining of) and 2) my 107 Speed Onix just outsped a 109 Speed Moltres.
I believe its because the 3rd? badge gives your pokemon a 1.1 speed boost making them faster.

Are you sure? Not to sound disbelieving:(

I'm certain. The lowest Speed I've gotten from filtering is 117. I think the explanation for this is that the slight stat boost given by gym badges isn't factored in for wild Pokemon because they are, in fact, not your Pokemon until you've caught them. I'm not sure how this plays out in D/P because I've heard successful accounts of Speed filtering.

Thankyou, now lets say If I gave Venusaur 40 Spec Atk EV's would that guarenteedly put him over 50%?

Could you please explain to me what filtering is?

It's a technique for SRing legends that need Speed. For example, I wanted a Moltres with a Speed IV of at least 27. This comes out as 108 at level 50, so I send out a 107 Speed Onix, which should move second if the Moltres has the target Speed I want. If Onix moves first, I reset.

Of course, this is a little difficult with the weird stat factoring that comes with gym badges.

D/P doesn't have a badge that increases your speed. :S

Ohhh. :)

Water, less weakness and I don't think there's a spiker that's electric type. Starmie is arguably the best spinner in OU.

I appreciate it, but I'm sure I need SOMETHING with Flamethrower or Thunderbolt, or a more appropriate option based on creature. Based on my sweeper Drapion, tank Bastiodon, and whatever Jynx what should I suggest to fill out the rest of my party?

I'm also not sure what's up with these tiers, though I can see where some like Garchomp and the like would be used frequently. I'm trying to use less popular species but if it works in the team I'll go with whatever, preferably if it's not a pain to obtain.

For those damage calculations Speedwobbles225, here they are:

W/out Lefties:

Meganium Bold, 216 HP/0 Sp. Def.

56.31%-66.73%

Celebi Bold, 252 HP/0 Sp. Def.

56.31%-66.73%

W/ Leftovers:

Meganium Bold, 216 HP, 0 Sp. Def.

50.06%-60.48%

Celebi Bold, 252 HP, 0 Sp. Def.

50.06%-60.48%

That's with the 40 Sp. Atk. on your Calm Venusaur, your welcome:)

I'm guessing that where you play, there are no tiers. If you want less popular, try Claydol. It would fit your team nicely since it offers a ground immunity and fighting resist which as well as rock resist helping out all of 3 of the pokemon you listed.

Well actually I don't play anywhere, I'm new to the online battle scene. I bought the game last year, made it past the Elite 4 but got bored/frustrated before I made it to Stark Mountain by December. I'm working on getting back into the swing of things now and this will be the first party I've ever put some serious thought into.

Claydol sounds good. What kind of set to use? A spinner set I would imagine. If this calls for EQ, should I replace one of my other 2 EQs or is it OK to have 3 or more pokemon with the same attack?

Thankyou :]

Thats weird, there identical

I am currently breeding for Ralts with Synchronize(Emerald), and I need just 5 natures, which are...

Brave
Careful
Jolly
Quiet
Serious

My question is, do I even NEED the Quiet/Brave/Serious nature?Quiet and Brave reduce Speed for Sp. Atk and Atk respectively, so I can't imagine those two being used, and Serious is a neutral one.

Could I skip those 3?I know Careful and Jolly are really, really good natures, though.

Answer ASAP 'cuz I'm getting tired of breeding D=

Does this Deoxys look real?

Deoxys
Level: 70
Ball: Poke'ball
OT: SPACE C (male)
ID: 00010
Nature: Modest
Date: Jul. 15 2006
Location: Pokemon Event - Apparently had a fateful encounter at Lv70
Characteristic: Strong Willed
IVs: HP: 0, Atk: 0, Def: 0, Sp.A: 0, Sp.D: 0, Spd: 0

The ID of 00010 was only for Journey Across America, which didn't give away Deoxys. And didn't have that Trainer name. Space Center was also a famous rumor that went around in which you supposedly got Jirachi and Deoxys when you had all 5 stars, and took the spaceship at Mossdeep. It's obviously ludicrous.

D/P was released in September 2006 in Japan, further making it fake. Pal Park records the date when you send it over.

I don't see how you'd think it's any chance of being real. Honestly. =/ That's an unfunny troll post.

@Tsuki: Yeah, it is possible. I think it's about the same chance of finding something with all flawless IV's, though. Not that you'd try...

Uhh...maybe because Space C Deoxys with an ID 00010 DO exist? Look at Serebii. Get your facts straight.

Yes, I've seen the date and I have questioned it. But you can just alter the DS clock to make that happen.

Only someone who has a Space C Deoxys can help me with this one. Space C Deoxys is a GBA event, so is it suppose to say it came from 'Hoenn' or does the 'Pokemon Event - fateful encounter' location override it? People who have migrated WISHMKR Jirachis could answer this too.

I've migrated a CHANNEL Jirachi, and those little guys are from Hoenn as far as DP knows. Hoenn overrides Fateful Encounter.

Alright, thanks for the info. Looks like its hacked.

Although I would still like confirmation from someone who owns a Space C Deoxys.
I got a Space C Deoxys from someone here, it's also from Hoenn. The weird thing is that even if a fateful encounter Pokemon is "created" outside of Hoenn, it'll claim that it's from Hoenn. In this case, I'm talking about the Ho-oh from Colosseum.
