New to Smogon

Team 1

Ambipom @ Silk Scarf
Adamant
4 HP, 252 Atk, 252 Spd

Fake Out
U-Turn
Brick Break/ Taunt
Return

Thinking i could use Ambipom as my starter pokemon, deal some quick damage with fake out then u-turn to a counter pokemon. Brick break to hit normal type hard and for coverage, and return for power + STAB.

Donphan @ Leftovers
Adamant
120 HP, 252 Atk, 136 Def

Ice Shard
Earthquake
Rapid Spin
Stealth Rock

The idea is to get a layer of stealth rocks down thx to his awsome defence. =) Earthquake and stone edge for coverage, and ice shard to try and hit dragons hard, hopefully with the ev's that have gone into Atk he could 2HKO most dragons.

Azelf @ Focus Sash
Modest
23/14/5/26/18/12
4 HP, 252 SpAtk, 252 Spd

Psychic
Thunderbolt
Explosion
Nasty Plot/ Grass Knot

Wasn't sure weather i should keep thunderbolt or not considering Raikou covers electric already. Nasty plot without any worrys because of focus sash, then sweep. If i dont think it will KO then explosion to bring them down with me.

Milotic @ Leftovers
Bold
124 HP, 252 Def, 132 SpA

Hypnosis
Recover
Surf
Ice Beam

Hypnosis till i hit, then recover the damage. Milotic should be able 2 take the hits and once they fall asleep, just a matter of finishing them of. Ice beam for the dragons. Surf for general coverage.

Gyarados @ Life Orb
Adamant
72 HP, 252 Atk, 184 Spd

Dragon Dance
Waterfall
Earthquake
Stone Edge

Thinking i could maybe have Salamence over Gyarados. Dragon Dance then deal the damage quick and fast waterfall for STAB, Earthquake 4 coverage, nut the last move i wasn't sure weather i should have stone edge or ice fang. Ice fang is more reliable and can make them flinch or Frozen, where as stone edge covers more types and is more powerful but at the cost of accuracy.

Raikou @ Leftovers
Timid
64 HP, 94 SpA, 94 SpD, 252 Spd

Thunderbolt
Shadow Ball
Calm Mind
Substitute

Sub then calm mind so that it starts taking more than one hit 2 destroy my subs then start hitting hard with thunderbolt + shadow ball.

Red = HELP
The team hasn't been made yet so any opinions on EV's, Natures and moves would be appreciated, and any pokemon you think should be replaced would also be helpful.
Thx

P.S. If anyone has a Timid Raikou id be willing to trade alot for it.

I am pretty sure you are only allowed to post one RMT at a time, so you probably will have to take one of those teams off for now. You also need to provide some sort of description for each pokemon (i.e. what is it supposed to do, why each move is chosen, the strategy behind the pokemon, etc.), or else it will be locked pretty soon.

Well, I'll suggest a few things anyway, since I feel like it.

I commented this on another person's RMT before too... I REALLY think that Fake Out Ambipom is much better with Silk Scarf than Life Orb, since Fake Out and Return will be your main forms of attack anyway, and a lot of times it might not even be worth it to Fake Out or U-Turn due to the Life Orb damage. I'd go with Adamant just for more power since Fake Out has priority anyway (with Silk Scarf, it wouldn't hurt just to Fake Out and then switch if your opponent is faster... the same couldn't be said for Life Orb, of course).

If you went with Roar on Donphan, your team won't have any stealth rocker, and so... roar itself is not as useful anyway, so I'd go with stealth rock.

For Salamence in the other team, Leftovers if you're using Stone Edge, and Leftovers or Life Orb will both be fine with Roost... I'd probably go with Roost and Life Orb.

For Ursaring, I'm assuming that you really want to let Swords Dance stay (I personally find that Ursaring won't have the time to swords dance with toxic orb)... Crunch > Night Slash, but I also want to say that generally teams with more than 1 ghost pokemon isn't extremely common, so you can just let Fling be your answer to ghosts while instead of Crunch/Night Slash can be replaced with your move of choice that attacks Steel pokemon that otherwise wall this set (i.e. Fire Punch/EQ/Close Combat). Fire Punch still hits ghosts but not Heatran, while EQ doesn't hit levitating ghosts or Bronzong/Skarmory, and close combat of course doesn't hit any ghost, but close combat is most powerful.

Definite NO for Hyper Beam. If you want Specs, go with Thunderbolt for way better coverage.

Don't type things in yellow, no one can read them.

Thx for the help, iv added the changes, also thx for the warning im deleting one of the teams now. Got it no more posting in yellow. I used to post on pojo and it has a black background so yellow kinda stood out, Sorry.
lol
Explanations have also been added to each pokemon.

Hey, I am on pojo too :p

I am akatsuki9 there...

Anyways, the rate:

Ambipom: Looks fine, make sure you have a back-up to switch into any given lead, especially Walls that Ambipom won't do much against

Donphan: Needs Rapid Spin, your choice of what you want to drop

Azelf: Ruined by Sandstorm... try dropping nasty plot for Grass Knot for better coverage and if more fail-safe then Nasty Plot + Focus Sash, put a Life Orb on him

Milotic: Fine, its good the way it is

Gyarados: Drop ice fang for stone edge, better coverage that way

Raikou: Put an E-Vire here (preferebly mixed)

Big(ger) change: I suggest dropping Donphan for something that will be able to take more hits like Skarmory or Fortress if you need rapid spin

If i where 2 get rid of a move for Rapid Spin o Donphan it would probably be Stone Edge. I like Donphan cus of the Ice Shard, btu then again i do have a Foretress Ev'ed in Def and Atk with Explosion, Stealth Rock, Rapid Spin, EQ.

Ice fang for Stone Edge seems fine 2 me.

Ill have a look into E-Vire, ill try him out considering it's probably gunna take a while before i get Raikou anyway. =(

I was thinking of giving Ambipom Taunt 2 deal with walls such as Bronzeong. But yeah i see what you meen.

With Azelf, ive used him many times the way it is and it's never let me down but i'm gunna give the grass not Azelf a go.

Thx for the help. Also ive added some of the changes, but opinions are still welcome. :p
