It's a hold-over from Advance. Originally, that was the form that would appear if the user had a Deoxys in Pokémon Emerald. You can switch freely between forms in DP, so most people call it Deoxys-S now.
 
What are the technical details for sleep clause? Are you breaking the rule if you get a sleep move using metronome or something like assist?

I think it registers as:

Gengar used Hypnosis!
But it failed!

That wouldn't come up if no one on the opponents team was asleep

if you get the move with metronome usually the opponent should be mercyful but yes you're breaking the rule, basically you shouldn't sleep anything if the opponent has already an asleep poke (not self induced with rest or similar stuff).

I KNOW the Def. IV is low, but I bred this as a Hyp/SR/Gyro/Expld - Born on 9/11 at Fuego Ironworks(I'm sick I know). Only had a few minutes left before midnight so this was the best I got. I assume since he's not going to be around forever that the Def isn't too big of a deal(I know its a difference of 23 pts but what are ya gonna do?)

I'm going to max HP I think but the rest is still up in the air.....any suggestions?
 
Maybe put a little in attack to make Explosion and Gyro Ball a little more stronger and maybe the rest in Defense to make up for it being so low.
 
um no one does I guess its like competitve slang? no one actually spells it like that

Okay I have a question any idea when the new platinum moves will be on the server
 
Ok, this probably isn't the right place to ask but...

Could someone assign me a breeding project? I really want to get in to breeding more and if someone gives me a specific task I'll get the job done better than if I do pick something myself. I'm the kind of person that needs someone to tell them what do to.

If not could you direct me to the right place?

Just a Few Questions.

Erm, hi fellow trainers. As my title says I have a few questions, which I hope someone can answer without flaming me for being dumb etc.

DP UU Tiers.
A fair few pokemon from R/S who were once used regularly have been demoted to UU, which I have no problem with. Although pokemon like Rhydon, Dusclops have just been dumped in the NFE box.
This has left me confused, because unless there's some kind of rule where non-fully evolved pokemon aren't allowed in UU... I see no reason why someone hasn't got around to making a Strategy page for these two pokemon. Especially as this is a very active forum. Seeing a Strategy page for Golem but none for Rhydon isn't good at all.
There's also a few more pokemon who were UU in R/S but now have been thrown in the NFE box come D/P... who cares if Electabuzz, Magmar, Piloswine and Tangela have evolved versions this generation. They are pokemon that have all benefited with improved move pools!!

My main concern is for people who are new to online pokemon. Seeing as Smogon doesn't show the evolution chains, someone new could have been trying to get into UU without being none the wiser that there were 6 more perfectly good pokes to choose from!

How Does Wish Work?
Now when I asked this same question on Smogons D/P server, I got told nothings changed. And got made to look dumb.
In R/S if my Blissey used Wish, then my in coming pokemon died, the following pokemon would receive the Wish instead. However this same scenario on Shoddy battle results in Wish not occurring. Wish also disappears if Blissey dies the turn it uses it.

I've used the Search button but haven't found a thread which states anything like this, so sorry if someone's mentioned this before.
 
Are there any four types that hit all other types super effectivly? If not what comes closest? I don't care about BP or anything, I just want the types.
 
Weird question here. Say I breed an Eevee in Pokémon Emerald. I trade said Eevee egg to FireRed/LeafGreen, then hatch it there. Then, Eevee gets transferred to Diamond/Pearl/Platinum. Will Eevee's location memo be Hoenn or Kanto?
