it will be hard to make it work i think, with only three pokes you have to find two passers with good boosting moves that allow your third poke to finish the opposition, and obviously you need to keep the two passers alive to complete the baton chain, if you decide to make your BT baton team a smeargle will help with spore and any boosting move you want, but with frail defenses you need to be extremely careful, as i said it will be hard to design, but it´s worth the shot i think. this article will help you: http://www.smogon.com/dp/articles/baton_pass_chains

Because you taunt, hang on with the sash and SR. This way you you get up Rocks and Bronzong doesn't. It's called a suicide lead for a reason...

Do Payback, Avalanche and Revenge hit for double if they the opponent doesn't attack you or if it hits on a switch in? Because I was thinking of this.

Because it's attack stats are crap, so it is delegated to being team suport

More specifically, the IVs of a Shiny Pokemon in GSC were lower than a normal pokemon. Certain IV combos (which were all bad) made it shiny.

Since I'm breeding Smeargle for the BT is it even worth going through all the trouble of breeding for a perfect one when all it really needs is the attack, speed and maybe HP?

Ok so I just went back to Ruby, set on beating it again and getting Rayquaza and such before platinum comes out so I'll be ready to transfer some stuff over. I last played right after catching Groudon with an ultra ball, it took me many tries so I just kept what I got but it turns out it wasn't a horrible groudon, it is as follows:

Impish nature, 19-21hp/30-31atk/15-17def/9-13sdef/8-9spe, -sp. atk nature so I didn't bother looking at that.

Most of the IVs are nothing to get excited over but he has perfect or near perfect attack, if only he were Adamant :/ Is it still a somewhat viable Groudon?
