Warstory: Super Hax to the Rescue...?

Hey guys! This is my first warstory! If you know me, I'm a huge fan of gimmicky teams. I used to run a sandstorm/trick room team that did decently, though I kinda got bored with it. Afterwards, I just started messing around and creating a few gimmicky teams, including this one, which doesn't have any OUs :] Since I forgot to ask for permission for the warstory, I just censored my opponent's name and crossed my fingers :\

Oh, and I hope you enjoy my nicknames xP They are some of my favorite words, so guess what they all mean! Though one doesn't really belong... feel free to guess which one it is ;p

monkymeet's moves will look like this.
Opponent's moves will look like this.

Scores will be shown after each KO.

monkymeet sent out Harlot (lvl 100 Kecleon ?).
Opponent sent out Bronzong (lvl 100 Bronzong).
Harlot used Magic Coat.
Harlot created a barrier!
Bronzong used Hypnosis.
Bronzong fell asleep!
Bronzong's Lum Berry cured its Sleep!

So I see a Bronzong first. There’s two things I think I could do. I could either trick my Choice Band onto the opposing Bronzong, and really toned down it’s utility, or I could reflect back the usual hypnosis. Seeing that a lot of Bronzongs tend to use EQ, and I don’t exactly have any levitators, I decided to go with a Magic Coat, which catches some people off guard…. Except when the opposing Bronzong has a Lum Berry. My bad :[

---
Harlot used Magic Coat.
Harlot created a barrier!
Bronzong used Stealth Rock.
Pointed stones float in the air around your foe's team!

This was actually a stupid move on my part, seeing the whole surprise of the situation was already over, I should have just switched, but I didn’t. Stealth Rocks actually post a rather large problem for my team, though I have some that abuse the hits it gives. I should probably get a spinner… >__<

---
monkymeet switched in Strumpet (lvl 100 Cacturne ?).
Pointed stones dug into Strumpet.
Strumpet lost 12% of its health.
Bronzong used Light Screen.
A barrier was formed!
Strumpet's leftovers restored its health a little!
Strumpet restored 6% of its health.

Behold! One of my favorite pokemon! It’s pretty beastly when set up, though Machamp tends to counter it perfectly. I’ve swept a few teams with this Cacturne. It’s one of my friend’s, and it runs SD, Sucker/Focus Punch/Sub. If I can squeeze in one or two SDs I can do a lot of damage to a team.

---
Strumpet used Substitute.
Strumpet lost 25% of its health.
Strumpet made a substitute!
Bronzong used Hypnosis.
But it failed!
Strumpet's leftovers restored its health a little!
Strumpet restored 6% of its health.

And up goes the sub, stopping the hypnosis in time. Now for SDs…
---
Strumpet used Swords Dance.
Strumpet's attack was sharply raised.
Bronzong used Explosion.
The substitute took damage for Strumpet!
Strumpet's substitute faded!
Opponent's Bronzong fainted.
(6-5)
Strumpet's leftovers restored its health a little!
Strumpet restored 6% of its health.

I was a little surprised by this initially, but I think Cacturne is slow enough so Gyro Balls probably wouldn’t have done much damage, and I would have been just able to set up more. However, now that I notice it, explosion was it’s only attack. I guess a switch would only allow me to set-up more…

---
Opponent switched in Machamp (lvl 100 Machamp ?).
Machamp used Dynamicpunch.
It's super effective!
Strumpet lost 81% of its health.
monkymeet's Strumpet fainted.
(5-5)

This was a slight gamble on my part. I run my Cacturne with a few speed EVs, but I guess it wasn’t enough to outspeed Machamp. Machamp also tends to be one of the best counters to Focus/Sucker, resisting both. Only way to OHKO is to squeeze in three SDs, but that probably wasn’t happening. I was hoping of setting up a Sub to scout, and avoid the confusion, but instead was smacked in the face with Dynamicpunch…

---
monkymeet switched in Slag (lvl 100 Gardevoir ?).
Slag traced Machamp's No Guard!
Pointed stones dug into Slag.
Slag lost 12% of its health.
Opponent switched in Spiritomb (lvl 100 Spiritomb ?).
Spiritomb is exerting its pressure!
Slag used Psychic.
It doesn't affect Spiritomb...
Slag's leftovers restored its health a little!
Slag restored 6% of its health.

Uh-oh. Bad prediction on my part. Should have known that a psychic immune was coming up. Also, I came to the realization that Gardevoir is probably in a mess…

---
Spiritomb used Pursuit.
It's super effective!
Slag lost 94% of its health.
monkymeet's Slag fainted.
(4-5)
Spiritomb's light screen wore off!

…yeah. ;___;

---
monkymeet switched in Bint (lvl 100 Lapras ?).
Pointed stones dug into Bint.
Bint lost 25% of its health.
Opponent switched in Leafeon (lvl 100 Leafeon ?).
Bint used Confuse Ray.
Leafeon became confused!
Bint's leftovers restored its health a little!
Bint restored 6% of its health.

Now it’s time for me to try out my DD Lapras again! Confuse Ray is such an annoying move, and the next few turns will demonstrate that…

---
Leafeon is confused!
It hurt itself in its confusion!
Leafeon lost 8% of its health.
Bint used Dragon Dance.
Bint's attack was raised.
Bint's speed was raised.
Bint's leftovers restored its health a little!
Bint restored 6% of its health.
Leafeon's leftovers restored its health a little!
Leafeon restored 6% of its health.

So I continue to DD for a few turns, though I totally forgot that Leafeon has really good defense… >__>

---
Leafeon is confused!
It hurt itself in its confusion!
Leafeon lost 7% of its health.
Bint used Dragon Dance.
Bint's attack was raised.
Bint's speed was raised.
Bint's leftovers restored its health a little!
Bint restored 6% of its health.
Leafeon's leftovers restored its health a little!
Leafeon restored 6% of its health.
---
Opponent: hax
Bint used Return.
Leafeon lost 33% of its health.
Leafeon snapped out of confusion!
Leafeon used Leaf Blade.
It's super effective!
Bint lost 65% of its health.
Bint's leftovers restored its health a little!
Bint restored 6% of its health.
Leafeon's leftovers restored its health a little!
Leafeon restored 6% of its health.

…yeah, about that defense…

---
Bint used Confuse Ray.
Leafeon became confused!
Leafeon is confused!
It hurt itself in its confusion!
Leafeon lost 7% of its health.
Bint's leftovers restored its health a little!
Bint restored 6% of its health.
Leafeon's leftovers restored its health a little!
Leafeon restored 6% of its health.

And unfortunately for my opponent, he found himself in a terrible haxy situation. Hasn’t been able to hit once >__>

---
monkymeet switched in Bitch (lvl 100 Arcanine ?).
Pointed stones dug into Bitch.
Bitch lost 25% of its health.
Leafeon is confused!
Leafeon used Leaf Blade.
It's not very effective...
Bitch lost 16% of its health.
Bitch's leftovers restored its health a little!
Bitch restored 6% of its health.
Leafeon's leftovers restored its health a little!
Leafeon restored 6% of its health.

This is when I bring out my Bulky Arcanine. The 25% hurts a lot, but I can deal with it, as long as it forces the opponent out. This is part of my trio of absorption, though Cacturne kinda ate it already >_<

---
Opponent switched in Tentacruel (lvl 100 Tentacruel ?).
Bitch used Substitute.
Bitch lost 25% of its health.
Bitch made a substitute!
Bitch's leftovers restored its health a little!
Bitch restored 6% of its health.

I set up a sub, This allows for a cleaner switch or a scout to see the Arcanine counter that he has. I’m a little sad to see Tentacruel, because that thing is really annoying. Awesome, but annoying >__>

---
Tentacruel used Surf.
It's super effective!
The substitute took damage for Bitch!
Bitch's substitute faded!
Bitch used Hidden Power.
It's super effective!
Tentacruel lost 22% of its health.
Bitch's leftovers restored its health a little!
Bitch restored 6% of its health.

And… HP(ground) does laughable damage, despite being super effective. I should have Will o’ Wisp’d but somehow that didn’t occur to me at the time.

---
monkymeet switched in Bint (lvl 100 Lapras ?).
Pointed stones dug into Bint.
Bint lost 25% of its health.
Tentacruel used Surf.
Bint's Water Absorb absorbed damage!
Bint restored 25% of its health.
Bint's leftovers restored its health a little!
Bint restored 6% of its health.

Seeing that Arcanine kinda won’t be doing much, I predict the incoming surf and absorb it, which brings the net loss of health for Lapras to zero. Adding leftovers makes it safe.

---
Opponent switched in Leafeon (lvl 100 Leafeon ?).
Bint used Confuse Ray.
Leafeon became confused!
Leafeon's leftovers restored its health a little!
Leafeon restored 6% of its health.
Bint's leftovers restored its health a little!
Bint restored 6% of its health.

I could see him bringing Leafeon back in, so I predict and Confuse Ray in the switch. Yay annoyingness! ;]

---
monkymeet switched in Bitch (lvl 100 Arcanine ?).
Pointed stones dug into Bitch.
Bitch lost 25% of its health.
Leafeon is confused!
It hurt itself in its confusion!
Leafeon lost 8% of its health.
Leafeon's leftovers restored its health a little!
Leafeon restored 6% of its health.
Bitch's leftovers restored its health a little!
Bitch restored 6% of its health.

I bring in Arcanine again, though I’m starting to notice how Stealth Rocks is really starting to cut in her health. I could try Flare Blitzing, but that’d probably stick her into easy KO range. And Leafeon might even be able to KO back with a resisted hit.

---
Opponent: god
Opponent: i cannot get a move off
monkymeet: :(
Leafeon snapped out of confusion!
Leafeon used Protect.
Leafeon protected itself!
Bitch used Substitute.

Bitch made a substitute!
Bitch's leftovers restored its health a little!
Bitch restored 6% of its health.
Leafeon's leftovers restored its health a little!
Leafeon restored 6% of its health.

Sitting on haxes, again, I successfully pull of a Sub. This allows me to try a few status moves…

---
Bitch used Will-o-wisp.
Leafeon was burned!
Leafeon used Wish.
Leafeon made a wish!
Leafeon's leftovers restored its health a little!
Leafeon restored 6% of its health.
Leafeon was hurt by its burn!
Leafeon lost 12% of its health.
Bitch's leftovers restored its health a little!
Bitch restored 6% of its health.

So I pull off the burn. This will allow for me to slowly chip away at their life while not worrying as much about physical attacks. Leafeon has been successfully crippled. Mission success!

---
Opponent switched in Tentacruel (lvl 100 Tentacruel ?).
Bitch used Hidden Power.
It's super effective!
Tentacruel lost 21% of its health.
The wish came true!
Tentacruel restored 43% of its health.
Bitch's leftovers restored its health a little!
Bitch restored 6% of its health.

I wasn’t sure if the wish was going to be for Tentacruel or Leafeon, so I just HP for safety’s sake.

---
Tentacruel used Toxic Spikes.
Spikes were scattered everywhere!
Toxic Spikes were scattered around the foe's team!
Bitch used Will-o-wisp.
Tentacruel was burned!
Tentacruel was hurt by its burn!
Tentacruel lost 12% of its health.
Bitch's leftovers restored its health a little!
Bitch restored 6% of its health.

I pull off another burn, and I think I might be able to outstall Tentacruel. Toxic Spikes isn’t much of a problem, I believe, since my final sweeper doesn’t fear it.

---
Tentacruel used Toxic Spikes.

Actually, I’m a little unsure about this move on his part, since burn damage would hurt more than lefties can heal.

I’m actually pretty surprised about this. Two Sucker Punches couldn’t break the sub. I mean, I know that I made my Arcanine bulky, but this bulky? Slightly surprising…

Tentacruel is going faster than Arcanine, so that means that it’s scarfed and I don’t have a chance of outspeeding it. In hindsight, I could have just gone for a sacrifice, but the water absorb is tempting too…

God I hate organic chemistry soooo much. Such a terrible terrible class and the professor is so bad at teaching. I mean, so what if he wrote the book, doesn’t mean he can teach for crap. Gardevoir…
Me for not attacking Leafeon when I probably could’ve have killed it off. Not to say that I could still defeat Lucario, but at least then it’d be 0-1 at the end.

Thanks for reading :]

This log was formatted using Warmachine Version 1.0

I agree with everything the first dude said. The comments were a little lacklustre at points and there was little or no strategy at points but overall it was solid due to the fact that i enjoyed the way you uncovered your team, as they were no so common.

This warstory was the most arrogant, retarded piece of writing I ever read in my life and feel so depressed that it is frustration moving my fingertips to touch the keyboard, not my brain.

First of all, you offend gimmicks with your team, play style and ridiculous mistakes. Seriously, I even feel like numbering each team member:

1) Kecleon leading is nowhere near good, even in gimmicks. When trying to avoid SR like the plague, it does nothing, nor does it provide any valuable support at that, other than Magic Coat, flawed by a Scarf. I would understand if you Tricked it into a SR suicide lead to gain some momentum, which you can not do by any means, given they switch when you do and Cacturne isn't scarying anything anything.

2) Said Cacturne would work if: a) you wouldn't make ridiculous mistakes like leaving it on a Machamp (even if it WERE slower, wasting 19% HP a turn is downright ridiculous when you could save it for late-game and you wouldn't stall DynamicPunch out of PP nearly enough) and b) knew something as simple as Fighting not resisting fighting. Yes, it says alot.

3) Can't say I saw much of it, but using Psychic so carelessly with a Gardevoir in OU is just plain dumb. LO CM set is pretty painful (wouldn't have changed much this time) but Gardevoir can certainly support well in gimmicks with the likes of Wish and Toxic.

4) Call me an elitist (figures), I think you should be shot for using that. Confuse Ray is gayest, most retarded piece of shit GAME FREAK Inc. created after Serene Grace. And relying on it to set up makes the player part of such a description. Not to mention DD Lapras won't do anything in OU, with hax or not.

5) Flare Blitz / Substitute... sure. And Tentacruel didn't even need to be Scarved, since that was Pepper wannabe, with low Speed (they have the same Base Speed).

6) Two X-Scissors you could've pulled off and two turns less of depressing reading. Maybe you should try reading the log, because YOU'RE CLEARLY FASTER. Unless you expected the move Substitute to recover the Substitute's health. Since using it repeatedly was downright retarded. If Leafeon DID have Quick Attack, it would've used it from the start. Yet, who knows? Your opponent made some pretty dumb mistakes himself, so I guess it COULD have it.

Bad team, bad playing, retarded hax... -10/10. I guess people are just too eager to write these days...

5) Flare Blitz / Substitute... sure. And Tentacruel didn't even need to be Scarved, since that was Pepper wannabe, with low Speed (they have the same Base Speed).

Uhm... Tentacruel has base speed 100. Arcanine 95.

By all means, rip the team and battle apart, but at least do it right. :nerd:
