Announcements
  • I know I said in the previous thread that platinum moves would be allowed this round, but upon further consideration I think that would be a huge oversight. Therefore, Platinum moves and Pokemon are not allowed in this or any other round.
  • A bit of a surprise to me, but Suicune was the most struck out pokemon. Therefore, Suicune is banned in this round an for the duration of the tournament.
  • The most used pokemon was Salamence. Therefore, Salamence is banned in this round and for the duration of the tournament.
  • I missed a couple logs last round. Please guys, send me your logs after your battle! especially now that we're in the later rounds a single battle's pokemon are weighted pretty heavily for the usage strikeout.

This round will close on Monday, October 27, at 12:00 Midnight PST. Of course, it would be great if we could get our (only 4) matches done sooner!

I think you guys know the drill by now, so I'll skip the reminders. Here is a list of banned pokemon for reference:

snorlax vs Brawley - brawley is good but snorlax is unbeatable now
KD24 vs Gouki - psh how could i lose? stealing the gouki tactic
Aldaron vs Ripchord - aldaron is good
Master of the Six Kings vs Olie - mosk is ok i guess olie might try to make a name for self so who knows?
 
snorlax vs. brawley - don't know snorlax and brawley is strong
kd24 vs. gouki - gouki might as well change his name to chokie
Aldaron vs. ripchord - I am winning this tournament
MOSK vs. Olie - both are at the very least decent, but I'm going with Mosk's track record of good tournament performances

I've got a bit less time this round, since I have exams, and my Laptop is being used 24/7 by my family, so getting the match done may be a tad difficult, but I have some time on the weekend, so I hope for the best.

Well, let's predict ^____^

  • snorlax vs Brawley - Snorlax has been doing very well recently.
  • KD24 vs Gouki - Gouki is cool, but KD24 is better imo =)
  • Aldaron vs Ripchord - It's Aldaron, and he's good.
  • Master of the Six Kings vs Olie - Good Luck!
 
arg gouki had the 2 pokemon that would just ruin my team.

wait, did gouki and KD24 remember to strike out an additional pokemon, or did you both just decide to duke it out regardless?

i lost 3-2 to brawley, mainly because when i uploaded my team to battle, salamence was still on it even though i replaced him :(

even still, i had pretty much lost, since a crucial CH screwed my best poke
 
Mosk and I have been PMing back and front, but we are having a bit of trouble catching each other -____-
We hope to battle tomorrow, hopefully we will not need extra time.
 
Well I sent a PM to Ripchord...but he hasn't even been active for the last three days. I am hesitant to advance anyone by activity this late in the tournament, especially because of the major impact it could have on the next round's global strikeouts. I guess I'll give Ripchord a couple more days...but yeah this kind of sucks.
 
sorry about the inactivity guys, that was pretty irresoponsible of me. whenever aldaron wants to get this done, I'll be as accomodating as possible.

Alright so at this point I'm just waiting for a log or team list from Aldaron and Ripchord. I don't really want to make strikeouts with a quarter of the stats missing. So as soon as I get that info I will start the next round!

EDIT: Ok I got the teams of Aldaron and Ripchord; however, when I was putting the stats together I realized I didn't have a log from Brawley/snorlax either >_>

So it will be a bit longer...
