I'm new to Smogon rate my team please

I've made this team and it has gotten me to 1500 on ladder then dropped to 1418 on SU server with my alt account BerserkVirus. This team has won about 80% of its matches.

Big Reaper (Dusknoir) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP/252 Atk/4 Def
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Ice Punch
- Shadow Sneak
- Brick Break
- Earthquake/ThunderPunch

This thing is a fantastic lead. With this set it is able to take care most of the most popular lead. I chose EQ over Tpunch because Gyarados leads don't seem as common anymore.

Deoxys e: Shadow Sneak always 2HKOs it and most of the time they taunt Dusknoir so they don't even get to put down stealth rock on me.

Azelf: always 2HKOs the elf with Shadow Sneak but at the cost of sometimes losing his life orb for a choice scarf. Dusknoir is also immune to explosion so no fear for suicides.

Gengar: always 2HKOs this and sometimes even OHKOs with Shadow Sneak

Tyranitar: Dusknoir has enough DEF. to take a non-banded crunch and then OHKOs it with Brick Break.

Metagross: Always 2HKOs with EQ and has no problem unless Meteor Smash crits.

Zapdos: Hit with Icepunch followed by shadow sneak to KO without taking 2 thunder bolt.

Salamence: OHKOs with Icepunch 90% of the time.

Gallade: OHKO to 2HKO all the time.

Yanmega: taken care of by Icepunch followed by shadow sneak

Common leads that are problems: Gyarados,(dont seem as common anymore) Brongzong, Hippowdon, sleep inducing leads even though they dont seem as common in Plat. either.

Liberty Bell (Bronzong) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 200 HP/158 Def/150 SDef
Sassy nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Stealth Rock
- Earthquake
- Hypnosis
- Gyro Ball

I just love this guys resistances and defense stats. He is also my Stealth Rock set up. The rest is pretty standard.

Drag Queen (Salamence) (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 120 Atk/136 Spd/252 SAtk
Naughty nature (+Atk, -SDef)
- Outrage
- Fire Blast
- Draco Meteor
- Earthquake

When most of my opponents team is weakened this guy is amazing at ending the battle and picking up the scraps as a late sweeper. The Draco Meteor/Outrage combo with this EV spread does 78%+ to any pokemon that doesnt resist it even Cresselia. Fire Blast and EQ are just for Coverage.

4 armed Hag (Machamp) (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 252 HP/252 Atk/4 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dynamicpunch
- Stone Edge
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

Just a standard Sleep Talk set but it is quite deadly. It is capiable of switching into many attacks because it is bulky and then dish out confusion with Dynamicpunch. Sleep Talk is a real pp saver and rest gives Machamp Recovery.

Milf (Heatran) (F) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Earth Power
- Fire Blast
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Explosion

Standard Scarftran and is a great counter to Scizor and Skymin.

Yellow Terror (Jolteon) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Thunderbolt
- Shadow Ball
- Signal Beam

I truely love this set. It serves as a great revenge killer. In my oppinion Jolteon got a great new toy in Signal Beam which almost OHKOs Celebis all the time that don't pack Sp.Def EVs. I just love it when half of my opponent's team is damaged and Jolteon comes in to take out whats left.

Most of the team seems cool, you have Machamp to take out threats to Jolteons sweep such as Blissey and Snorlax. heatran does well against most of the new Platinum threats. Again it would be easier if you poitned out to raters the actual problems with this team. It seems to me that you only posted this RMT to show off your "original" lead. If thats what you want to do then go to the "Creative Moveset Thread"

Anyway one thing I was going to suggest was perhaps Naive > Naughty on Salamence as that allways you to beat Jolly Lucario which will be useful as otherwise Jolly Lucario will be a bit of a bitch if you are attempting to sweep with Jolteon, although you may feel that you have enough coverage there with Heatran. I'd be interested to know how you usuallt play this, as if you actually use Heatran to "counter" Scizor and Skymin you run the risk of losing your Heatran to Sub + Earth Power or Super Power / Brick Break there reducing your ability to sweep and allowing certain threats to sweep right through you. Apart from that it all seems pretty good, although a Threat list or some notes on what has been bothering you wouldn have been useful.

not normally an OU player, but i must say, your Dusknoir lead is quite
clever, combating Suicide leads of the metagame(or wat it use to be)

anyways, perhaps you should Choice Band your Dusknoir if you fear Azelf tricksters, it adds more power than life orb , and most likely after you take care of their lead you would switch to Bronzong anyway to set up SR/ take whatever attack aimed at you

You might want to lose Hypnosis on Bronzong for a Light Screen or Reflect, Hypnosis really lost it

Salamence looks fine, although you might opt for some more speed, like 176 EVs, and 80 Atk EVs. 176 EVs allow you to outspeed all neutral base 90s, most notably Ice Punch Lucario

Machamp is fine, although some might argue Heracross is a better sleep talker, but Machamp can also utilize Guts at the cost of losing Dynamic Punch
you might want to go Naive on ur Scarf Heatran, I mean its not going to take Surfs/Earth Powers very well either way, and Naive powers up your Explosion a bit more

Lastly, I suppose your Jolteon could work, because of its overlooked 110 base SpAtk, however most people opt for either Deoxys E because it can outspeed Gyarados after a Dragon Dance(although Jolteon could too probably), and also it has Superpower so it doesnt get walled to death by Blissey

Or perhaps, Substitute Life Orb Gengar is a better option, also helps out ur synergy problems a bit considering Ground murders Heatran and Jolteon
Plus, Life Orb STAB Shadow Ball is no joke, plus it gets Focus Blast, and lastly, it has Explosion in case it runs into trouble pokemon or Blissey

overall a solid team, although Im probably not the best team rater

I will look in to your other suggestions however i dont really think Choice band is a good option for dusknoir because if my opponenet switch dusknoir can just damage the others on my opponents teams. Most of the time Dusknoir can weaken my oppoenents team enough for my other pokemon to tear through.

put 252 hp evs on bronzong for more survivability

I suggest the spread 252hp/184def./72spec.def sassy for max defensive capabilities on both sides of the spectrum
