Good day.

This is a pretty simple thread. What is your IQ level? And also, what do you think of it in comparison to your age and stuff.

Mine: 133, and I'm 13 (and 13 days ;))

I don't see the point of these threads if they're full of posts stating what your IQ is. You could have the IQ of 200 but if you don't haven't acquired the skills required to utilise that intellect then it means fuck all. It's like having a top-spec computer but shitty programs on it.
 
i got 143 on this one, and 142 on the facebook one, so at least im consistent!

really though, as cookie said, success in this world is more often breeded from people skills than IQ.

this is why i believe that so much of my time playing forum mafia isnt necessarily a waste of time, it really is a good way to learn how to deal with people who do not necessarily have your best interests in mind lol.

I fucking hate these IQ tests because people start tagging people due to their score.Pretty much what cookie said, too.

I'm a 119, and pretty much D/F student(this year).I'm generally B+ and A on just a few stuff, at least last year, but that's because I don't want to make an effort.Go figure.

I guess 159 is just not extraordinary enough.
 
152, apparently i'm smart but my fleeting attention span more than makes up for any kind of advantage in IQ, which is just a bullshit science anyway!

It's a measure of both, but for only certain people. In other words, it might be the thinking way of the other guy, but you might learn a different way that the test can't handle.
 
I got a 135. However my people skills suck so my splendid IQ will get me pretty much nowhere in life. Wohoo!
 
Online IQ tests are bull shit. I say this simply because I had to take a fuck load IQ tests when I was in middle and high school. Anyone who has take a real IQ test and an online one knows how much harder, longer, intenser, personal IQ tests are. I'm dyslexic and have 6 other classified symbolic processing disorders, but I have a really high IQ, so I was studies like a lab rat On those real IQ tests I got a 139, high enough to join the mensa society beyach.
 
Online IQ tests are incredibly inaccurate - a real IQ test will generally indicate the same value, no matter what, so it's definitely measuring something about you - but it's probably not intelligence. It's your ability to do well in IQ tests. That's all they measure.

Furthermore, they're designed for children, not adults, and your age is very important when setting a test. Additionally, it's well-known that standard IQ tests produce lower results for basically everyone that isn't a white male - not because women/black people/hispanic people/whatever are less intelligent than white males (They're not), but because cultural assumptions embedded in the test trip them up.

Basically, IQ tests results mean very little to nothing.

I got bored at question 12 and realized I'd answered True to everything so far except one I wasn't sure of. So I answered True for everything and hit submit:

Glen is right. I haven't taken an IQ test since fifth grade (a real one, mind you, not an online test), so I was a little curious. I became suspicious when they asked for my email adress, and then I saw that they wanted my money and then I regretted wasting five minutes of my life on another scam IQ test.

It does prove a point though; oftentimes the people with the highest IQ are the least intelligent with areas like streetsmarts and people skills.
