And about the battle - I had recorded it too, but I naturally discarded it because of the WiFi error, i'll keep an eye out for when it's uploaded.
 
hmm i dont know i dont think they're allowed in UU

i think OU is based on usage statistics so its probably somewhere in BL right now, it might jump to OU,
or who knows? it might be in OU already

anyways, Im losing Gengar because it cant outspeed Azelf after losing the scarf

So Im replacing it with Azelf, a mix Orb set, similar to Infernape but i guess less effective at wall breaking but more powerful

so what do you guys think of

im seriously considering using the Nasty Plot special sweeper set but I dont think Azelf has the bulk to pull off any Nasty Plots, with Scizor Bullet Punches and some other priority moves.

the above set lets me deal some immediate damage with Life Orb, also I can Uturn out of Blissey before I get statused.
Azelf i think is better than Gengar because it has 125 Atk AND SpAtk which is just ridiculous and its faster. However, Im having some trouble with the EVs.

Generally im considering something that lets me survive a CB BPunch from Scizor, which is my only goal.

so Im thinking Naive to hit 352 speed, then the rest in SpAtk and then Def/Atk

P.S. with Deoxys S gone, and Azelf taken already, i need another SR/Reflect/Light Screen setter upper, possibly Bronzong but I get taunted too easily, then again anything slower than Azelf, which it would seem to be the best DualScreen Deoxys replacement.
 
Is Metagross worth using anymore? Bullet Punch is more effective with Scizor, but Agility and Ice Punch sure surprises Dragons.
 
you mean it surprises Salamence, who you might as well Bullet Punch with Scizor anyway

but Metagross does have its uses, as in its way bulkier and can set up SR
not to mention Choice Band Meteor Mash isnt something to be played around with

but anyways, any comments on my Azelf Set, which could be found 2 posts above
 
Two questions. I'm looking for something in specific:

- A Mass Damage calculator that is up-to-date.
- A Mass Defense calculator (if it exists).

If you're asking I want to know if there is a certain calculator that can take one Pokemon and then determine what hits it can take from certain Pokemon (sort of like an inversed version of the Mass Damage calc).

"A mass damage calculator that is up-to-date"... have you found one at all? I've never been able to find one, much less one that isn't outdated! That must be why MetalKid is working on one. That's why I'm working on one, too. I also hear of someone else trying to make one in C++.

I also happen to be working on a mass defense calculator, as well. I'm actually attempting to add to my Stat Calculator a display that shows the damage taken by and dealt to Pokemon with various spreads and other variables when you use the Stat Calculator for calculating stats. I'm hoping to allow the entry of HUNDREDS of spreads so that you can account for any possible situation.
(More importantly, I'd really like to make it compatible with OpenOffice so that more people can use it!)

Still, those options are probably months away from being realized. (two months for me if I hurry!) Until then... you're probably going to have to do it the hard way. Sorry. :(

What are the restrictions made between trades on Platinum and Diamond/Pearl. Are Pokemon with HMs not allowed to be traded? By restrictions I am referring to a Platinum game that has not gotten the National Dex yet.
 
Say you save after getting an egg, and hatch it to check its nature and IVs.
Then, you reset, and trade the egg to someone else. When they hatch it, its stats don't change, right?

If you save after taking the egg, no. Shinyness could change since it's partially trainer ID dependent.

Do seals/capsules on Pokeballs show up on PBR?
 
Just curious about this... did I do this right?

Bright Powder increases evasion by 1 level (move accuracy decreases to 75%).
Wide Lens increases accuracy by 10%.

So, a pokemon holding wide lens using a 100% accuracy move will have 100% * 1.1 * 0.75 = 82.5% chance of hitting, right?
 
still no comments on how Azelf stacks up vs Gengar in terms of Sweeping?

and I dont feel like doing an entire RMT so any comments on
my Azelf MixOrb set would be appreciated.
