My WiFi Team.

I've been using it on wifi for a while. It's done pretty well. (Note that there are several battlers on wifi who do not yet have Plat moves. So those are not as worrisome as they are on shoddy.)

Bronzong @ Lagging Tail
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/86 Atk/80 Def/92 SDef
Sassy nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Trick
- Stealth Rock
- Explosion
- Gyro Ball

TrickZong is fun. I normally set up SR if I don't think my opponent will switch, and I Trick if I think they will switch to a Sweeper. It's basically standard though.

Tyranitar (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP/252 Atk/6 SDef
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Crunch
- Pursuit
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake

What can I say? This thing owns. Especially late-game when nothing they have can OHKO me. :P Really though, the physical power this thing posseses is just too awesome. He also laughs at any special-type move, except Focus Blast/Aura Sphere.

Suicune @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP/160 Spd/96 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Substitute
- Surf
- Ice Beam

This thing is underrated. SubCMCune is not very predivtable, so people usually try to Thunder Wave or Toxic it with Bliss. Or, they try to sleep it with something like Bronzong. Throwing a Sub up blocks that, then gives me basically at least 1 free CM. This Cune is also quite sexy, with a 31 HP IV. On wifi, this is not as easy to get as it is on shoddy, obviously. Many Blissey have tried to Toxix/TWave me as I set up a Sub, then they try to break the Sub with Seismis Toss, only to give me another free CM. 2 free ones, actually.

Machamp (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 252 HP/252 Atk/6 Def
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dynamicpunch
- Stone Edge
- Sleep Talk
- Rest

BulkyChamp is ftw. He's mainly a status absorber, but DynamicPunch is helpful due to the confusion it causes.

Salamence (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Outrage
- Dragon Dance
- Stone Edge

I'm probably going to stick a Leftovers on this thing. LO and a DD make this thing REALLY powerful, however, with SR up, SS, and LO damage, I don't usually last long. At all. XD But when I do manage to get a free DD, this thing just flat-out pwns. Late-game sweeps are very easy with this thing.

Celebi @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/6 SAtk
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Grass Knot
- Recover
- Thunder Wave
- Leech Seed

Physical wall, but can take special hits need-be. (I usually survive Timid Gengar Shadow Balls with like 50 HP or so as I TW them to allow T-Tar to out speed and kill him with Crunch/Pursuit.) Thunder Wave is really helpful in general, since Machamp and T-Tar are pretty slow. Leech Seed helps stall, and allows things to swtich in easier since they get that little HP boost. (It has made me win games before. 0_o) Recover and Grass Knot are obvious.

Keep in mind that this is wifi, so all IVs are not perfect and whatnot.

its interesting to finally see a wifi team rather than a shoddy team. you have a very nicely developed team and i dont think it will need much work.

the only suggestions i have are to replace CB with LO on tyranitar since you can greatly benefit from the ability to switch attacks.

On salamence, give it a lum berry acuse that way any stat givers will technically give you a free DD. replace stone edge with Fire fang so that your sala wont be immediately halted by skarmory and the likes of its steel bretheren.

suicune is fine as is, but for added survivability, you might want to consider rest over substitute since rest recovers hp and frees you of status worry. substitute costs you 1/4 of your hp and that may be costly at times, especially when you can possibly be roared or whirlwinded away.

its a good team over all and i wish you good luck with it. i hope i helped it in some way.

Thanks.

True, but:
1. There is that slight loss of power.
2. Losing 10% of my HP each turn kind of sucks, since I am so bulky.

If I switch items with it, I'll probably give it Leftovers or Yache Berry. Lum Berry, in my opinion, is more situational and not as useful overall.

Fire Fang is nice, but I think overall SE is more useful. It helps against many things that I could easily kill with Outrage, but wouldn't want to get stuck on Outrage and have Zong/Jirachi sent in or something to set up on me. (Gyarados, Salamence, Zapdos, etc.)

Meh, the Rest/Sleep Talk Cune is too generic for me. XD I've found SubCune to be very effective. It blocks me from crits and such, and has really saved my life.

Thanks. I'll wait to see what others say before making any changes.

Switch the lagging tail on bronzong for a macho brace. For one, it will half your speed while you still have it, making gyro ball hurt a ton, and most things that have their speed cut in 2 usually won't attack first anyway.

Your Tyranitar is completely walled by Hippowdon. If you don't have Platinum yet, soon as you get it, consider Aqua Tail.

Once Suicune is down, Special Sweepers will wreak havoc. SpecsLuke, rare though it may be, will definitely OHKO Salamence with HP Ice, 'specially since more run Timid / Jolly now.

Suicune without Rest-Talk is begging to be statused. He's not that fast, to there are a lot of Pokemon capable of doing that.

I actually thing a huge threat to your team is Bulky Arcanine. Granted he's very situational since no one is smart enough to use him, but he can beat Tyranitar one-on-one. Salamence would be tougher, but he could do a great deal of passive / direct damage. Bronzong has trouble too.

That would weaken Gyro Ball once I trick it though. Lagging Tails makes the holder always attack last. More useful, in my opinion.

i think lagging tail is fine on bronzing :P.

doesnt it make a pokes even slower than macho brace?

Yes.

I will consider Aqua Tail over Pursuit or EQ maybe.

Yeah, typically, when a special wall goes down, special sweepers can be problematic. That's pointing out the obvious. :P

Bronzong does well against a lot of special threats, at least enough to be able to Explode after they do w/e. T-Tar does too, as long as it is not a fighting move.

What Pokes that often status am I going to be facing that are faster than me with 160 Speed EVs invested? 0_o I've had no problems with him. Teams normally have problems dealing with it.

Cune, Salamence, Machamp? If SR is up, I think all of those Pokes beat him no prob. Not that he's used much anyway.

Macho Brace is the superior choice it Halves speed, therefore increasing the power of Gyro as oppposed to Lagging tail which just ensures that a slow pokemon goes last. Once Tricked it serves essentialy the same role as Lagging Tail halved speed more often than not ensures your slower, but increases the power of Gyro Ball.

But let's say they switch in a Salamence as I trick. Gyro Ball will then almost do nothing because they're going to be REALLY slow at that point.

Even so there is not much you can do back as Gyro Ball wont KO any Salemence and Macho Brace Gyro Ball has more of a chance than Lagging Tail or Life Orb you will be obatining from Mence. CBTrick Zong is better in all aspects anyway, but its WiFi.
