RMT [OU]

So I've been back and forth with pokemon for almost 6 months now, and now that I've come back again I learned that Latias is OU. Now I really dont care about who's uber and who's OU now but I do like to try out new pokemon. So I set out to make a team that revolved around Latias. It looks like a good lineup and has decent synergy but it deffinently needs some fine tuning.

Heatran@focus sash
[Flash Fire]
Naive 252 sp.att / 252 spe / 4 hp
-Stealth Rock
-Explosion
-Earth Power
-Fire Blast

He's basically just here to set up rocks and maybe try to take out a couple of pokes then explode. Swampert was my other option over him. Speed EV's are there to help him outrun anything in his teir, and Focus sash allows him to get the rocks in. Lead Tar has been a problem for him.

Latias.png

Latias@leftovers
[Levitate]
Calm 252 HP / 116 Def / 112 SpD / 28 Spe
-Wish
-Protect
-Toxic
-Dragon Pulse

This whole team was built around Latias. She's my special wall. She passes wish around and toxicstalls. Roar is an option over toxic to add some SR damage but toxic tends to get the job done. EV's are set to maxamize its defensive abilities. However, she still takes qutie a bit of damage from heavy physical hitters. She's a great addition to OU but she's beat pretty easily by Hera and has had problems with T-Tar and Lucario. So thats why I have.....

Gliscor@leftovers
[Hyper Cutter]
Impish 252 HP / 40 Def / 216 Spe
-Roost
-Swords Dance
-Aerial Ace
-Earthquake

Double STAB Gliscor. He is extremely important to this team, espcially to Latias as he counters Hera and Tar and Lucario. Aerial Ace is usually inferior to Ice fang but in this situation it's better for Hera, Breloom and for the rare Machamp. EQ 2KO's Tar and OHKO's Lucario (w/out a sash of course ). Speed Ev's puts him at 280 which is enough to outrun Adamant Lucario and any non-scarfed Heatrans who can beat him easily with HP Ice or even Fire Blast.

Porygon-2@leftovers

Bold 252 HP / 216 Def / 40 SpA
-Recover
-Magic Coat
-Thunder Bolt
-Ice Beam

My physical wall. This guy is absolutely great, he's been the star of my team so far. Counters Gyrados and Salamence easily by sending their intimidates back at them, surviving attacks sent at him, and countering back with BoltBeam. Magic Coat is for sending status moves back at the user as I dont really have a status taker on this team. Recover is self explanitory. Also as a bonus, Pory 2 can switch into Heatran, Vaporeon, Jolteon and take Fire Blast, Surf and T-Bolt in that respective order and gain some hp back. He also survives a non-spec's Earth power from heatran. Here are the damage calcs courtesy of smogon.

Salamence:
-1 Life Orb Outrage: 40.38-47.7%
-1 Life Orb Brick Break: 33.88-40.11%
-1 Life Orb Dragon Claw: 27.1-31.98%+1

-1 Life Orb Outrage: 60.98-71.82%+1
-1 Life Orb Brick Break: 50.68-59.89%+1
-1 Life Orb Dragon Claw: 40.38-47.7%

-1 Outrage: 31.17-36.86%
-1 Brick Break: 26.02-30.89%
-1 Dragon Claw: 20.86-24.66% +1
-1 Outrage: 46.88-55.28%+1
-1 Brick Break: 39.02-46.07%+1
-1 Dragon Claw: 31.17-36.86%

Gyarados:Bulky Gyarados:
-1 Waterfall: 17.89-21.14%+1
-1 Waterfall: 26.56-31.44%

Offensive Gyarados:
-1 Life Orb Waterfall: 25.47-30.08%+1
-1 Life Orb Waterfall: 38.21-45.26%
-1 Life Orb Aqua Tail: 29.00-34.15%+1
-1 Life Orb Aqua Tail: 43.09-50.95%

Jirachi@choiceband
[Serence Grace]
Jolly 80 HP / 252 Atk / 176 Spe
-U-Turn
-Thunderpunch
-Ice Punch
-Zen headbutt

My physical sweeper Another poke that I really wanted to use. He has great resistances so its not that hard to bring him in and he brings the element of surprise since most people are expecting a defensive Jirachi. U-Turn scouts for me and gets decent damage on Tar, Thunderpunch is for Gyra and bulky waters, Ice punch is for dragons, Gliscor, and other pokemon with Ice weaknesses. I've been thinking about changing Zen Headbutt with Iron head as Tar has really been a problem for this team.

Jolteon.png

Jolteon@life orb
[Volt Absorb]
Timid 252 SpA / 252 Spd / 4 hp
-Substitute
-Shadow Ball
-Hp Ice
-Thunderbolt

My special sweeper. He hasn't really done well for me at all and he dosent seem to fit well on this team. If there's any poke that I'm wiling to change it's deff Jolteon. Sub is to be able to block statuses and block a few EQ's that would be coming his way. Shadow ball is for ghosts and coverage, HP Ice for the boltbeam combo, and T-bolt is for STAB. Max speed puts him at a tie with other Jolteons, Aerodactyl, Crobat, and lets him easily outrun other sweepers such as Gengar, Alakazam, Dugtrio, Porygon-Z (non scarfed), and Weavile.

Overall I really like this team but it's really lackin in overall power. I know im lacking a spinner but Im not too concerned about SR on this team, toxic spikes and toxic have been quite annoying though. All suggestions are welcome so critisize away.

Pretty good here, but consider Shuca Berry over Sash or possibly Sub over Explosion.

Why not make this fully Special Walling? Because right now, with those EVs, Blissey seems like a more appropriate choice to be a Special Wall. Consider 252 HP/228 SpD/28 Spe or 252 HP/252 SpD/4 Spe.

I almost 100% recommend Stone Edge over AA due to the sole reason that you can hit Gyarados, and Salamence harder. But when I look at P2, I see that you've already got them covered.

I highly recommend that you don't use Magic Coat, whereas, it takes quite a lot of prediction to get it off correctly. I recommend Toxic/T-Wave over M-Coat, so you can preform Team Support more efficiently.

Pretty good set here, not much to say, except consider Scarf and Trick over Band and U-Turn (respectively), or over T-Punch/I-Punch.

How about Celebi? You can preform Team Support on Celebi too, and you can stop Bulky Waters like Swampert from running through your team. I do see a Bulky Water weakness, as P2 is your only counter to it.

Good luck with your team.
