Swampert (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 240 HP/216 Def/52 SAtk
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Stealth Rock
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Earthquake

Standard Mixpert here, set's up Stealth Rock for me, which is absolutely vital to this team, allowing Mence and Scizor to sweep much easier. Swampert counters Heatran, Tyranitar, and many other threats that would otherwise just walk through my team. I always Stealth Rock on turn one, to get them up ASAP. Sleep leads are somewhat troublesome, though, especially things like Yanmega, who can pretty much obliterate everyone on the team after a few Speed Boosts.

Celebi @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP/220 Def/36 Spd
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Grass Knot
- Perish Song
- Recover
- Thunder Wave

Celebi is damn useful. Thunder Wave is just so useful in crippling sweepers. Perish Song works well with SR, racking up residual damage and let's me scout the opponent's team, not to mention incredibly useful against Stat-Upers. Part 1 of the Celetran combo, because they work so well. This is my go to guy for Gyarados, crippling it with Thunderwave and 3HKOing with Grass Knot. When I need to play conservative, I go to a match up between Swampert-Celebi-Heatran, to save my powerhouses for later.

Heatran (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 6 Atk/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Explosion
- Earth Power
- Hidden Power [Ice]
- Fire Blast

Standard everyday ScarfTran that deals with many threats in tandem with Celebi, and gives this team some much needed speed. I tried Lava Plume > Fire Blast for a while, because I saw it in somebody's RMT, but the power drop, especially when hitting a NVE switch in, was just too much of a turn off for me. I tend to play very conservatively with Heatran until I've seen my opponent's full team, because without Heatran, a lot of fast threats, such as Azelf, can decimate my team. Most of the time, Heatran comes in to scare something like Scizor away, while I just switch out without attacking, because I don't want to give my opponent free turns by Fire Blasting their Heatran or Earth Powering their DDMence.

dpmba376.png

Metagross @ Choice Band
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP/252 Atk/6 Def
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Explosion
- Bullet Punch
- Meteor Mash
- Pursuit

Metagross provides raw power and a check against Latias and Gengar. Metagross also pairs well with my next Pokemon, Salamence, as they resist each other's super effective moves. Explosion is rediculously helpful in taking down walls for Scizor/Salamence. I like having 2 priority moves, for extra insurance against low HP Pokemon, and so I can save Scizor for later. I feel that this is the weak link of the team, because Steel is just resisted by so many Pokemon, although his typing is invaluable for the team. Pursuit hasn't been too useful, should I switch for Earthquake?

dpmba373.png

Salamence (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 6 Atk/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Draco Meteor
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast
- Outrage

The new Mixmence. The power of this is simply insane. I switch this in early-mid game when something has died or on a predicted ground or grass move. I've been screwed over a few times because of Fire Blast missing, so I've been comtemplating usign Flamethrower or even Heat Wave instead. However, I'm afraid the power drop will be too much. This is also my make shift Lucario/Scizor counter, if Salamence is still in good health and Heatran is severely weakened or fainted. Salamence is a bit frail with Life Orb and no defensive EV investments, so that's a slight concern I have. I've considered Roost, but don't know what to replace as each move is useful in its own right.
---
dpmba212.png

Scizor (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 184 HP/252 Atk/56 Spd/16 SDef
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Roost
- Brick Break
- Bullet Punch

The star of the team. The EVs are to take Special Attacks slightly better, and to outspeed Skarmory. I prefer Brick Break to Superpower because I dislike the stat drops, and most of the time I spam Bullet Punches anyways. Once his counters, Zapdos, Rotom-A, etc, have been eliminated, Scizor can come in and start SDing up. On occasions, Scizor has come in on opposing CB Scizor's Bullet Punch and SD'ed up, winning the game right there.
---

This team has been pretty godo so far, but I feel it can do much better with a few adjustments. Mixape is a bitch to this team, and has to be dealt with extreme caution as I have no way to kill it outside of revenging with Heatran. Stall teams are a bit troublesome as well, as the residual damage eventually spells demise for my team. Wish support would be very helpful, because I tend to switch a lot, meaning everybody gets worn down pretty quickly. The problem is I don't know where and how I would be able to fit Wish in...

Still need more Tangerine?

Maybe you could consider dropping Earthquake for Roost and changing the Life Orb to the Dragon Fang on your Salamence. That should give it a lot more utility for plugging the defensive gap on your team against fighters.

I'd also recommend dropping BP or MM on your Metagross because it's redundant. Probably BP because Scizor is there. Try Thunderpunch instead or consider trick + the Toxic Orb to counter bulky waters and steal their Leftovers. And a Metagross without Thunderpunch or Earthquake is helpless against steels.

And speaking of Scizor, consider Quick Attack for weakened Gyarados, Infernape, and Zapdos. And don't quote me on this, but I think it's more powerful than a resisted X-scissor because of Technician.

Hope I helped. =D

EDIT: Actually, you could consider dropping Metagross for Jirachi to get that Wish support! Oh, that is exciting! =DDD!!

If Yanmega is a problem, maybe you should use a Lum Berry and swap Ice Beam for Stone Edge. That way, you can OHKO Yanmega and survive it's Hypnosis.

If this is your only go-to for BP Teams, you have to watch out for Ninjask. If the enemy is smart enough to use X-Scissor on Ninjask, Celebi is doomed, especially with a Swords Dance under Ninjask.

This is good, but pretty standard. Bleh.

Fuck YES you should switch for EQ. EQ utterly destroys Steel Types that block your other moves, and against Skarmory or Bronzong, why the hell are you using Metagross anyway?

This complements your team well, but if Celebi's the main Fight resist, you might wanna be kinda careful.

You might wanna change this to Forry if you are afraid of Toxic Spikes/other residual damage. Noone uses Ghosts anymore, really, outside of Rotom-A, and nobody thinks Forry has Spin anymore.

i actually wouldnt bother outspeeding Skarmory with Scizor, itd actually be smarter to have a slow Scizor, to hit Skarm with SD Brick Break if it tries to Roost, and that way you can go with more special defense (which i recommend). Have you ever though of using Pursuit Bullet Punch Lum Berry Metagross? I used one a couple weeks ago on a very succesful team, and EV'd it heavily in Special Defense to provide a true Gengar counter. Luring stuff to stay in with Pursuit also allows you to bluff CB (unless you come in on status) and then hit things like Blissey (which often Protect first turn) with an Explosion. If Metagross proves able to consistently KO Blissey like that, you could switch Salamence to Specs, which would give you more special fire power, something that your teams is a little lacking of.
