well it certainly has been a LONG time... about 6 months since i've been here on the forum and ~a year without actually playing O_o... (Changes in Bold Italics) anyway, on to the Team:

In Depth:

The Lead
dpmfa094.png

Cursed Ocarine
Gengar @ Choice Scarf
-Modest-
6 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Trick
Shadow Ball
T-Bolt
Focus Blast

Trick the Scarf to screw something over, Shadow Ball for a nice STAB, T-Bolt for the likes of Skarmory Leads and such, and Focus Blast for TTar, etc and coverage with Shadow Ball

IDEAS:
he's doing WELL. outspeeds nearly everything he has trouble with, and later he comes back to Trick a wall if not up against a Setup Lead

Clean Up
dpmfa472.png

Limb Cutter
Gliscor @ Leftovers
-Jolly-
252 HP/40 Atk/216 Spd
Earthquake
Roost
Swords Dance
Stone Edge

complete role change for this guy. VERY good at picking off things late game while sneaking Roosts and SD's in on switches

IDEAS:
has worked nicely on Shoddy. saved me several times and hasn't let me down much at all

Mixed Wall
dpmfa197.png

DCB
Umbreon @ Leftovers
-Careful-
252 HP / 100 Atk / 58 Def / 100 SpDef
Curse
Payback
Protect
Wish

by FAR my fav Poke ever, i just had to include her. with nice Def stats she can handle quite a bit on both sides of the spectrum fairly well (and better EV spread to support this). Curse up to wall followed by Payback for some amazing boosted STAB damage. Protect + Wish for team/self healing, scouting, and stalling

IDEAS:
a complete MONSTER if i get 2+ curses off. she can easily got from support to offense at the blink of an eye (has OHKO'd 3-4 pokes before being taken out O_o)

Mix Sweeper
dpmfa373.png

Smolder
Salamence @ Life Orb
-Mild-
84 Atk / 216 SAtk / 208 Spd
Draco Meteor
Fire Blast
Outrage
Earthquake

this thing blows 'Nite outta the water! not only does he completely throw ANY Steel for a loop, he can also ravage some guys with STAB Dragon attacks

IDEAS:
great set! everything i thought and more

Spec. Sweeper
dpmfa121.png

Frost Ripper
Starmie @ Choice Specs
-Timid-
6 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Surf
Ice Beam
T-Bolt
Grass Knot

with Specs this thing is a beast. wonderful coverage overall... no real explianation needed

IDEAS:
sometimes gets OHKO'd, but overall is very good

Phy. Wall/Utility
dpmfa205.png

Gun Chariot
Forretress @ Shed Shell
-Relaxed-
252 HP / 113 Atk / 144 Def
Explosion
Gyro Ball
Rapid Spin
Spikes

gets rid of spikes, lays his own, then explodes for massive damage!

IDEAS:
has worked well. gotten quite a few suprise kills :P

Overveiw:

Ice and Dragon are about the only things that worry me now... mostly Dragon cuz of all the poke's with crazy STAB Dragon moves =/

well there's my team and i've already gotten 3 of them hatched with the right natures (the part i hate -_-) and gathered some TMs. i'll gladly take all advice into consideration :3 (NOTE: this will hopefully be my 1st truely good competetive team. i've only made 1 other that's EV trained and all, but it sucked HORRIBLY lol)

On gengar. Use a standard 252/252 ev spread and scratch explosion. Instead use HP ground or HP fire to deal with Heatran / Scizor leads.

Even if you predict blissey, the damage output will be dissapointing. Plus your team has no problem with blissey but getting rid of Heatran early on will be a big help.

i've never really messed with IVs (therefore HP types ether) sadly

but also i doubt my friends even EV train (though i think they at least get good Natures and competitive movesets) so i don't think i'll be seeing a good Blissey between the 2 of them nor a Heatran since they don't have Wi-Fi to get a good natured one

really Explosion's just to sursprise them after i've messed something up with Trick and they're attempting to wall me, but like i said, any suggestions are welcome (except HP lol)

just tested this team out on Shoddy. Trickgar seems to be doing ok, however (as another poster basically stated) Heatran wrecks this team completely =/. i also find i'm missing a nice Fire attack right when i need it

so far here's the results:

Trickgar- doing well except vs other Scarf Leads (mainly Heatran T_T)

Gliscor- well, he does manage to get the Rocks down, but he's not the decent Dragon Counter i expected. replacements anyone?

Umbreon- omg this thing is more of a BEAST than i'd ever imagined. has won me 1/3 of my games. even managed a win when it was down to her vs 4 full HP

Dragonite- well... this is more fragile than i thought. i'm thinking of going with Mixdra over this?

Starmie- for Shoddy i went with Rapid Spin and forgot and kept the Specs >.<... overall she did good, well except i never did use RS lol. could be replaced with a bulkier Spec Sweeper MAYBE (a big maybe. she fits well and has gotten me out of tight spots)?

Lucario- completely not what i though, but that's mostly because i end up counting on Umbre instead of him for late game clean up >.<. i'm thinking, since he's usually downed by 1 or 2 Fire attacks he could be replaced by a bulkier or faster Phy. Sweeper and let Umbre have the End Game role as she's been doing anyway

PROBLEMS
+ the team really lacks in Fire Plus is destroyed by Heatran. a good Fire Poke should solve this i think?
+ Umbre seems to be doing the Late Game Clean Up and stealing Lukes Role while he's easily messed up by 1-3 attacks =/ (replace Luke?)
+ DDnite is not as effective as i first thought. could go with some other Dragon here?
+ Gliscor isn't doing half as good as i though. a nice Rocking Phy. wall would be a nice replacement

Replace DDnite with Salamence. It has the extra hitting power and Intimidate you need, as well as being fast, something your team seems to be missing. You don't really need the Kingdra on the team, especially since you aren't weak to rain dancers - not that i noticed anyway.

If you need to replace Gliscor, use Forretress. It can SR, Spin (even if u don't need it) set up other Entry hazards, explode, EQ, etc. It is also a handy wall for the common outrage that you see these days.

If you have problems with fire, run Heatran. Problem solved.

Bulkier late-game clean-up:

Gliscor @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Veil
Nature: Jolly (+Spd, -SAtk)
EVs: 252 HP/40 Atk/216 Spd
~ Earthquake
~ Roost
~ Swords Dance
~ Stone Edge

Give it a try. Gliscor is bulky as hell if you get rid of Ice/Water attacks. He can invest minimally in attack and I get off Swords Dances really easily in most circumstances. This thing sets up and sweeps. Not everyone gets Gliscor to work, from what I can tell (although I think it has to do with people wasting a moveslot for Stealth Rock when he NEEDS everything he has above to sweep/wall/not be walled), but it's worth a shot. Earthquake/Stone Edge will get sublime coverage if you can knock off Skarmory (will specify later).

Now, replace Lucario (the old Gliscor's spot) with the Forretress mentioned above. You now have a more reliable Stealth Rock and an Explosion when you need it. He's one of the best Steel types as far as taking Outrages goes.

Dragonite shouldn't Dragon Dance. Ever. It's usually outclassed by Salamence. It's outsped more easily, which means stuff can still come in on your DD and KO you without SDef investment (which is a waste on this type of Nite). In short, use your typical MixMence:

Salamence @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
Nature: Mild (+SAtk, -Def)
EVs: 84 Atk / 216 SAtk / 208 Spd
~ Draco Meteor
~ Fire Blast
~ Outrage
~ Earthquake

Draco Meteor destroys physical walls. Fire Blast takes Steels that aren't Heatran. Outrage destroys Blissey. Earthquake destroys random stuff like Heatran or Magnezone.

I'd suggest running Starmie with Rapid Spin support with this, as you may need to switch a lot (Draco Meteor drops, etc.). If your friends don't use Stealth Rock, then Specs Starmie could work pretty well, or something like Nasty Plot Azelf in its spot.

wow, thanks guys. i'd def give Mixmence and Forrtress a shot (maybe that sweet Gliscor too) later today (darn you school D:)

EDIT:

well here's the plan so far, though i can't test it here at school:

Over Lucario
Gliscor @ Leftovers
-Jolly-
252 HP/40 Atk/216 Spd
Earthquake
Roost
Swords Dance
Stone Edge

like suggested, this thing looks pretty good

Over DDnite
Salamence @ Life Orb
-Mild-
84 Atk / 216 SAtk / 208 Spd
Draco Meteor
Fire Blast
Outrage
Earthquake

i have always liked Mixmence VERY much, though i try to use 'Nite as much as possible to be different lol

Over Wall Gliscor
Forretress @ Shed Shell
-Relaxed-
252 HP / 113 Atk / 144 Def
Explosion
Gyro Ball
Rapid Spin
Spikes

not only does this have RS (saving from wasting coverage on Starmie), but it also lays spikes, stops Dragons cold (minus Fire Blast/Flamethrower), AND can explode MUCH better than Trickgar could

Other Changes
Trickgar will now have Focus Blast over Explosion for coverage sake since he's my lead and he'll also have the standard 6 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe spread and Modest so he's a force even after the Scarf is gone

(NOTE: will update the OP later... got some work to do atm, plus i can't test on Shoddy here =/)

A careful Umbreon with EVs of 252 HP/4 Def/24 SpDef would actually be bulkier than yours, yet it uses 128 fewer EVs. Run the numbers yourself if you like.

The analysis suggests 252 HP/200 Atk/56 SpDef, but you can reallocate some of those attack EVs into either defense if you so wish.

thanks. the reason she's got such an odd spread is i want her to be able to hit hard, but obviously Curse is taking care of that. i'll def switch to a 252 HP spread seeing as she needs all the HP she can get
