My intention is to make a successful competitive team with shuckle in it! I probably should've made a stall team, but I wanted something more offensive with more strategic flexibility. So, I paired off shuckle with ttar, and made an offensive sandstorm team.
My strategy is unpredictibility, wall breaking, and overwelming the enemy with special sweepers.

Tyranitar @ lum berry//focus slash
240 HP / 36 Atk / 48 Def / 184 SpD
sassy//careful
taunt
thunder
firepunch
crunch
I took the smogon's Lead Ttar setup, because honestly i trust experts better than myself. The idea is simple: set up sandstorm and prepare against the meta for an early advantage. Uses taunt against SR or setups, firepunch for steels like jirachi, metagross. Thunder for gyrados, crunch for azelf.

Gengar: @ life orb
136 Hp/ 120 spa/ 252 spd
timid/hasty
explosion
shadow ball
focus blast
hypnosis

This is where my strategy starts to kick in. My gengar really cant take a hit, but i'm fine with that. I really just want Gengar to put something to sleep, and then to destroy some special wall with explosion(i added 136 hp so i will always OHKO blissey with explosion). This is will work with the strategy that i can overwhelm the enemy with ttar/celebi/heatran/gengar's special attacks after once they "bring down that wall".

heatran @ life orb
56 Atk / 200 SpA / 252 Spe
naive/rash
flamethrower
earthpower
explosion
hidden power ice/ dragon pulse
I get annoyed when i use scarfed heatrans b/c I send out Heatran, and then they switch to a special wall - and i cant explode b/c I'm locked into my first attack! I'm sacrificing durability/speed for unpredictability by switching scarf for life orb. The idea is basicly the same as gengar's: blow up in the counters face. I'm not too worried about the loss in speed, as scizor and celebi are my real revenge killers. My EVs probably arent perfect though. Should I take some EVs out in Attack for some additional defense, seeing as heatran's speed will be significantly slower?

dpmfa212.png

Scizor @ choice band
adamant
252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe
uturn
bullet punch
superpower
pursuit
Scizor is one of my revenge killers. Also, if heatran/gengar takes someone out with explosion, i'll send him out and scout with u-turn.
I'm also thinking about making him my lategame sweeper, seeing it that 2 of my sweepers are suiciders.

dpmfa213.png

Shuckle @ leftovers
impish
252 HP / 208 Def / 48 SpD
Toxic
Encore
stealth rock
rest
Shuckle takes advantage of the sandstorm to be my mixed wall. The idea is to send him early- where he will set up a set up SR- then either encore/toxic depending on the situation.
(im tempted to switch SR with knockoff- and maybe have heatran break SR so i can knockoff leftovers for more residual damage w/ toxic, or screw up an incoming sweeper)

dpmfa251.png

celebi @ choice scarf
modest//timid
4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
leaf storm
earthpower
h.p. ice
trick
Celebi is my second revenge killer and offers a wide variety of type coverage.
Origionally I had Celebi run heal bell and helped as a wall, but i needed an ice attack for salamence-so i figured this would work out.

Threat list:
Azelf: ttar's crunch
Breloom: celebi's psychic, ttar's taunt + fire punch (but is risky if he seedbombs instead of spore'ing)
Celebi: scizor's uturn or pursuit
Dugtrio: celebi's hp ice /leaf storm
Electrivire: celebi's earthpower
Empoleon: (if it doesnt have ice beam, celebi can take it down), scizor can superpower it, heatran can earthpower it
Gliscor: gengar can switch on the eq and shadowball
Gyrados: ttar's thunder, celebi h.p ice / leaf storm
Heatran: celebi's earthpower, gengar switches on eq + hypnosis & shadowball
Infernape: heatran + earthpower
Jirachi: heatran + earthpower, celebi + earthpower
Kingdra: celebi's leafstorm/ h.p. ice
Latias: celebi's h.p. ice/ heatran's dragonpulse
Lucario: gengar switch on extreme speed- out speed with a focusblast
Machamp: psychic if celebi brings it, but shuckle can just toxic it out, gengar can switch on stab moves

Metagross: gengar switch on eq + shadowball, heatran for revenge kill

Salamence: celebi's hp ice, shuckle can encore DD + toxic

Snorlax: gengar's focusblast, shuckle's encore + toxic

I have some things I want to point out. If you want to use a Bait-tran I suggest running this EV spread: 56 Atk / 200 SpA / 252 Spe

This spread allows you to OHKO Blissey and even water Pokemon after Stealth Rock damage with Explosion.

Also, I would replace Shuckle. It isn't as good of a wall as you think, even with SandStream. It will die pretty easily from Close Combat coming from just about any fighting Pokemon and struggle to do anything back.

Sorry if this goes against everything but I feel like Shuckle is such a weak link. If you do take out Shuckle, you can fit Stealth Rock on to either Tyranitar or Heatran (last slot).

And on your threat list, you say Empoleon may have HP Ice, but it has access to Ice Beam. Speaking of which, I think it can sweep your team quite easily with Torrent-boosted Surfs or Petaya-boosted Ice Beams.

Maybe you could add a Bulky Water like Suicune over Shuckle. Hope this helps a little.

Counting on Tyranitar to stop SR users from setting up might not be a good idea since most are faster the Tyranitar.

Wondering: Should Tyrannitar really run thunder? It's really bad accuracy might screw you over sometimes. Stone Edge/thunder punch might be better for gyarados (you might have to check a damage calculator, to calculate intimidate) Gyarados leads are pretty rare , aren't they? And wouldn't earthquake be a better move over fire punch? You have nothing to hit leadtrans with, except for thunder, which Tran can set up rocks, and then possibly KO you with earth power. If you're adamant about using a fire move, you might want to use fire blast, because of the power advantage over opposing bronzongs.
