It's not glitched weather

It's more like glitched field effects. As seen http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/genmessage.php?board=946308&topic=48789425 here, Gravity also activates the glitch under unknown conditions (maybe Pursuit again?), activating Gravity, Uproar and the usual four weather effects. This can possibly lead to Trick Room activating the glitch under those conditions, activating every possible field effect

EDIT: Trick Room activates the glitch. The order in which the weather effects appear is Rain, Sand, Sun, Hail, FOG. All of them deal the usual damage. Trick Room is still in effect, presumably Uproar and Gravity are too. If anyone is curious, the battle video number is 67-49391-63911

EDIT 2: The glitch started from Trick Room has every possible field effect, including Uproar and Gravity. Fog can be cleared with Defog and won't interfere with the glitch. Video is 71-58349-79250

wow. trick room teams just got a whole lot more viable on wifi!

I'm really glad this probabely won't be implemented on shoddy. (no one has time, if we decide to.)

Fog now? That's freakin' sweet. I wander just what else will set this off (from Tailwind to real Fog, we need answers!).

We need a lot more research done on these altered field effects.

This should really be implemented in Shoddy Battle, as long as the game is still playable.

I mean, you want Shoddy to be a "simulator" as near as possible of the game ?
I'm thinking about the IV restrictions on legendaries for example (which aren't correct however, since colosseum and xd use a totally different algorithm...), it's because it's in the game that these have been implemented in Shoddy, not for enhancing the battles quality or something like that.

I agree this shouldn't be implemented, but still great find.

Guys, do not turn this into a "this should(n't) be implimented" thread. The last one was locked for a ton of bullshit, and shoddybattle was not even remotely implied in the OP. Just stoppin' the train before momentum picks up.

By that theory, if Aerial Ace's base power becomes 60000 in a pokemon game where no AI trainer uses the move, it should be implemented on shoddy because it doesn't make the game unplayable.

In which case, it would be banned as broken. But that is neither here and there. Any more discoveries about this go in the research thread.
