Elements Mafia - Day 8

The crowd screams “Death to the WORM! Death to the WORM! Death to the WORM!”

thunda then speaks up “Earthworm, before we kill you Misaki-chi would like a word with you over there.” thunda then points towards a shadowy gate.

Earthworm walks towards it and enters the void attracted to the sound of Misaki’s voice. At the end he finds himself face to face with a tape recording of Misaki-chi repeating “Come to me Adam”.

As soon as he realizes that it is a trap the lights flash on and Earthworm finds himself in the middle of a fume hood. The plexiglass gate slams down and locks him in. Earthworm furiously (as furiously as Earthworm can) tries to break out, but his gaseous body did not have the required amount of kinetic energy to break through the sturdy gateway.

blue light then taps the glass, getting Earthworm’s attention, and points at a contraption under him. The contraption was composed of an empty lighter, but with a remote controlled striker.

As Earthworm realizes his fate he musters his last words:
“o.o”

blue light opens the fume hood after the last of the reaction dies down. The only remains of Earthworm left are water and carbon dioxide molecules, even in his death he furthered global warming(that bastard). A small piece of charred paper flutters to blue light’s feet. blue light picks it up and begins reading:

Dear Earthworm,
You are Propane.

You are a combustible compound formed by the fusion of carbon and hydrogen. Your chemical formula is C3H8. You are a three carbon alkane that is colorless and odorless. As of right now you are a very common source for fuel in barbecues, heating appliances, and even modified vehicles.

Your invisibility will allow you to sneak up on users and observe their actions. Once every night you may send a PM to Thorns and demon238 stating ‘Night X – Track USER'. Your observations will allow you determine your target’s identity, abilities, and items that they may have originally held.

If you possess the item ‘Activation Energy’ you will also have the following ability:

Now with your access to Activation Energy you will now be able to combust. Once every night you may send a PM to Thorns and demon238 stating ‘Night X – Combust USER'. That night your target will be consumed by a massive explosion and killed.

After that wonderful display of fireworks, you head off to bed knowing full well that one of you could be "witnessing" an explosion of that magnitude all too soon.

Anyway, in an unusual twist, I have decided to publicly claim my role for everyone to see. I am the excellent byproduct Radon. What do I do? Each night, I irradiate a user. That simply means I mark them. It doesn't affect them. I win if I have half the survivors tagged. I will be working at this independently of the game. Information is welcome, but be aware that I am a neutral and I will do with it what helps me win. I have no plans on interfering with lynches anymore; you may freely claim mafia to me, but keep in mind that this would be stupid anyway as I am a neutral and may use that information against you later to ensure I have enough tagged survivors!
 
Since I can finally post, could all base elements who have not spoken to thunda please pm me? I am Neon, the base elements martyr, and I am trustworthy.

Edit: if any other important base element roles have not yet done so, I urge you to pm me so the mafia cannot fake claim your role.

I've only got about half of the possible pms. Remember if you don't want use your night ability you should send me and Thorns a pm stating that you are idling. Some people have also been only sending pms to only one of the hosts, which is bad and will be enough causation for a prod.
 
As dawn creeps in, the elements of the periodic table awake from their slumber, knowing full well of the sounds of explosions during the night. As everyone congregates at the town square, Bass begins crying for help.

Everyone rushes to Bass’ aid, upon sight they see a wrecked porta-potty with a charred corpse in it. Not much could be identified from the corpse, but you see a charred piece of paper near the porta-potty. Thorns picks it up and begins to read:

Dear Gmax,
You are Hydrofluoric Acid.

You were once the halogen fluorine, but your reaction with hydrogen ions has transformed you into Hydrofluoric Acid. You are a fairly weak acid, but extremely corrosive and dangerous to touch. Your chemical formula is HF. While you are considered weak, when you are highly concentrated you will still be able to ionize anything within your reach.

Due to your corrosiveness you will be able to dissolve all who oppose you and your allies. Once every night you may send a PM to Thorns and demon238 stating ‘Night X – Ionize USER'. That night your target will forcefully react and become harmless ions, effectively dead. In the event that you die your Hydrogen ions will be transferred to an ally and will transform them into an acid, losing their old abilities and gaining your corrosiveness.

You are also holding a vial of Sodium Acetate, a buffer solution. Any acids holding this item will be unable to use the 'Ionize' night ability. If a non-halogen or non-acid is ever targeted by the 'Ionize' night ability while holding this item, it will be negated causing the Sodium Acetate to become useless. Any halogen and acid holding this item will show up as Acetate. Acetate's role PM is as follows:

Dear user,
You are Acetate.

You are a salt commonly found in sodium acetate and acetic acid.
Being a salt, you are fairly useless, but you can give others dry skin.

Once every day you may send a PM to Thorns and demon238 stating 'Day X - Salt USER'. Your target will be salted and will have really itchy dry skin causing him/her to forgo voting that day, neutralizing their vote.

You are also holding the shady vial, to you it is completely useless, but for others it may have devastating effects...

You have a neutral alliance. You win if you survive at the end of the game.

The villagers look around and find no other deaths, but before Thorns could announce that it was the beginning of the day a bright light flashed out and struck a person in the village mob. Alarmed the element/compound fled the scene, but left a piece of paper behind. blue_light picks up the paper and begins to read:
Dear <snip>,
You are Zinc.

You are a metal and a very useful one at that. You are often found in anti-dandruff shampoos and deodorant along with chlorine and friends. For the purposes of this game you are not reactive.

Since you can be used as plating for so many things, you are a protective element. Once every night you may send a PM to Thorns and demon238 stating 'Night X - Plate USER'. Even if that user is a non-metal, you will do everything in your power to ensure that user will survive the night.

You are allied with the Base Elements. You win if the Base Elements win.

As you ponder this, Thorns announces that Day 2 has arrived.

It is now Day 2, it will end 24 hours after the first vote is cast. PMs will be sent out shortly.
