Intro:

It's time for a rate my team, my first one to be precise, and this is not because I'm new to this [Meta] game, It's simply due to the fact that i haven't made a team worth putting up here for you guys to rate.

Ok, the idea for this team originally was for a Heracross or Lucario to be the star of the team, and have the team revolve around them. But then i came across this thread in which the guy had a breloom as his primary sweeper, and i thought to myself, hey, that would'nt be a bad idea to use one.

At a glance this team looks more on the offensive side, and has more speedy, strong pokemon, instead of slower, bulkier ones.

The general idea of this team is to get rid of all Breloom's counters, and let it come in, spore somthing, get a Swords Dance, and then sweep.

Swampert@leftovers***Shrek
Ability:torrent
EV's:240HP/216def/52spatk
Relaxed nature(+def -spd)
-Stealth Rock
-Surf
-Roar
-Earthquake

OK, so, I have chosen Swampert as my lead, and it's done a very effective job at leading my team off. He gets up stealth rocks only 90% of the time, due to taunt leads. But no matter what, at some point in the game, he gets his rocks up.

Given his bulkiness, sitting at 401 HP and 297 defense with the Ev's given, he has a leftovers number of 401 and can take some hits. Particularly grass ones, which tend to be special so he wouldn't be exposed to them anyway. Factoring in stealth rock damage, with 52 special attack Ev's lets me get the OHKO on Gliscor, Mamoswine, and Hippowdon's that don't invest in a lot or any special defense Ev's.

Roar allows me to phaze out any Pokemon trying to set up on me. Having a phazer is really helpful, considering my team had a problem with dragon dance Gyarados' and Swampert's typing makes him an extraordinary phazer/wall. Taunt variations of Gyarados aren't a problem, as they are easily tamed by my Gengar. Earthquake, along with surf, are there for STAB reasons primarily. I was going to use Ice Beam, but i needed a phazer, so i could'nt have it. Earthqauke hits and OHKO's heatran that don't invest in hp or defense 100% of the time, and surf OHKO's Gliscor, and Hippowdon's that don't invest in special defense Ev's.

The nickname Shrek came to me when i was thinking of a nickname, and my little brother asked me if i wanted to watch Shrek, so it stuck.

snorlax.png

Snorlax@leftovers***BigMac
Ability:thick fat
EV's:168HP/120def/220spdef
Careful nature(+spdef -spatk)
-Curse
-Body Slam
-Earthquake
-Rest

Here is my favorite fat special wall. I hate that big pink blob Blissey, and so does he >.< Anyway, Snorlax used to be everyones favorite special wall, what the hell happened? He is completeley underestimated in todays metagame and deserves alot more respect than blissey gets. With these evs, after 1 curse, this guy can crack open a can of whoop ass. He laughs at Scizor's bullet punch,is it does almost nothing. Body slam is just for stab and the 50% paralysis rate doesn't hurt either. Rest is if im having a stall war,or getting low on HP in the process of cursing up for a sweep. He also works as a status absorber in that fashion. He absorbs and ghost attacks launched at gengar and takes any other special hits and some physical hits like a beast. Ahh i love this guy.

breloom.png

Breloom@Toxic orb***Shrooms
Ability:toxic heal
Evs:44HP/252atk/212spe
Adamant nature(+atk -spatk)
-Mach punch
-Seed Bomb
-Spore
-Swords Dance

This guy is so amazing. With toxic orb he acts as a great status absorber and restores his hit points at the same time. Spore is to get some free swords dances then sweep my way to victory,or to put an enemy to sleep to send in a counter. Swords Dance because he just likes to dance with pointy things.Just kidding,it's to raise his attack, which im sure you all know unless you've been living under a rock! Mach punch, ahh i love priority moves. It helps to score a few 1HKO's on some pokes after a Dance or 2,or just take out a weakened pokemon.Seed Bomb is for pokes that are slower than him, like swampert or hippowdon(which are both destroyed after a dance.) And it makes for a great STAB move. I know i dont have any flying coverage, but why would he stay in to any flying types anyway? And the EV's are designed for the Sub-punch set,and chose to use those EV's instead of the SD sets EV's because i wanted a speed tie with scizor to have a chance to spore it and send in a counter. My physical sweeper on this team, and gets the job done niceley.

infernape.png

Infernape@life orb***HotHead
Ability:Blaze
EV's:64atk/252spatk/192spe
Naive nature(+spe -spdef)
-Close Combat
-Fire Blast
-Grass Knot
-HP ice

I never liked using this guy, mostly because everyone used him. But after he got reccomended to me,i decided to give him a try.I freaking love this guy! he mainly serves as my wall breaker, but is a partial sweeper too.Close combat is for blissey, and steels, fire blast is for steels, and grasses, grass knot helps breloom out with swampert and hippowdon, and hp ice is for a nice quick KO on dragons.(Factoring out latias) This is a great asset to my team.

gengar.png

Gengar@choice scarf***DeadlySmile
Ability:Levitate
EV's:6HP/252spatk/252spe
Timid nature(+spe -Atk)
-Thunderbolt
-HP fire
-Focus Blast
-Shadow ball

With 523 speed(scarf)and 359 special attack coming out of this little ghost of doom, he makes for a great revenge killer. Before i get to explaining his moves, ill explain why he's so crucial to this team. He counters almsot every one of brelooms counters, making it easier for breloom to come in.My team also had a dd gyarados problem, but this guy makes short work of that serpent. He also covers for ttar and snorlax's weaknesses to fighting, and infernapes weakness to ground.
Thunderbolt makes easy work out of skarmory and gyarados, hidden power fire takes out celebi, fortress, metagross and other steels, shadow ball gives hypno and cresselia a run for their money, and focus blast takes care of normal pokemon.

tyranitar.png

Tyranitar@Chioce Band***Juggernaut
Ability:Sand Stream
EV's:252HP/252atk/4spe
Adamant nature(+atk -spatk)
-Crunch
-Aqua tail
-Stone edge
-Pursuit

Tyranitar has the looks of a monster of destruction, and the power to go hand in hand with it. As we all know by now T-tar is one of or the most dangerous choice bander(s) out there in today's metagame. Now right about now you're probably wondering about the ev's on my tyranitar. I went with 252atk/252hp because simply, tyranitar doesnt need the 80 speed ev's, since they were only given to outspeed skarmory anyways. Plus with these ev's you get alot more surviveability.
Crunch is for a more power packed dark move when you want to hit something hard but not suffer the ever-so costly miss of stone edge. Aqua tail is to take care of some ground types, namely the ones like gliscor who could halt brelooms sweep. Stone edge is there primerily because it's STAB and it takes care of those flying types that breloom doesn't like around him. Pursuit is to say bye-bye to all those ghosts and latias' trying to slip away and come back another time to threaten breloom.

Ok,to start off,i knew i wanted to use breloom as my main sweeper. So i started with him.

286_breloom_1_m.png

Then,i needed a lead that was bulky, and could cover for my brelooms flying/fire/poison weaknesses.i tried out Metagross, but he didnt work due to the lack of fire resistance and the occa berry only allows it to take one hit.So i turned to my trusty old pal swampert. He could get rocks up,phaze, had nice coverage, and could wall.So i had Breloom and swampert

286_breloom_1_m.png
260_swampert_1_m.png

Then,i needed a all around good wall, mainly focused on special defence.I then thought of special walls who could use curse, therefore taking blissey out of my mind, because 130 defence is absolutley pathetic.I also took bronnzong out of the picture because he had a fire weakness.I tried a cursing hippowdon, but that made me have 2 grass weaknesses in my team.I kept thinking for a while, and remembered how good snorlax used to play in emerald,so after looking him over,i chose him because he could curse, attack, defend, and take status just resting them off.His think fat provides a resistance to fire and ice moves which made me happy also,so i chose him.So now i had a sweeper,lead/pwall/and a status absorber/sweeper/tank.

286_breloom_1_m.png
260_swampert_1_m.png
143_snorlax_1_m.png

After that mission was accomplished,i needed a revenge killer to get those quick KO's on brelooms counters.and it needed to be a pure special sweeper becasue i didnt have any special sweepers on here unless your a retard and would consider swampert one.so i looked up a list of brelooms counters and found that a scarfed timid gengar would be perfect for the job.Hidden power fire could take out celebi, heracross and skarmory, thunderbolt taking out crobat, skarmory and gyarados, and shadow ball taking out hypno and cresselia. This guy was perfect for the job.

094_gengar_1_m.png

When i was looking my team over,i decided i needed a little more physical power in my team, now i originally turned to a choice band salamence, but it just didnt have enough to offer for my team, exept for maybe ANOTHER 2 additional weaknesses that i didnt want to cover.I eventually came upon myold favorite from back in Gold/Silver/Crystal versions, yes im talking about the almighty tyranitar! paired with a choice band, this thing is deadly. He offered to suck up brelooms fire and flying weaknesses, and get rid of ghosts and psychics using pursuit or crunch coming off a 604 attack stat, so of course he got the spot for the job.

I had another special sweeper on my team in the 6th slot that provided alot of immunities to the weaknesses i had, and it was charizard, but i realized, that as good as i thought he would be for this team, he just wasn't. So i needed a wall breaker. A damn good one at that. But like i said before, i was definitly not going to invest in a salamence. So after a while of looking through the tier lists, i did'nt really find anything, and i didnt want to use a mixape, because i thought everyone already knew their tricks and came with a prepared team. After a while i decided to try it and i geuss i was wrong becasue this guy owned about 6 teams in a row for me, so i geuss some people still dont come prepared. He is all i could ask for in a mixed sweeper.

And just like that, this team was born. I still continue to make changes although its nearing to a really good team. I don't think this team has any major threats that it can't take care of, exept latias, which tyranitar only counters 50% of the time. But if you see any counters worth thinking about, tell me.

Um your team has no real wallbreaker, and charizard is outclassed, so replace him with the standard mixed sweeper infernape
And tyranitar should have pursuit over earthquake, to eliminate pokemon like latias that threaten breloom's sweep

You will be kidding me, charizard as a choicer and without a spinner???
Man this is really a big mistake. Charizard can only switch twice or three times per match (depending on the HP factor), that is counting that it switches in after a kill and including Stealth Rock into account (which is always with this lead). You have two options:
a) Using a spiner for the Stealth Rock removal utility.
b) Using a fast taunt lead.

This, or replacing Charizard for Heatran, which i think will help you a lot.

Well, it'll be tough to save Swampert for late game to take the role as a P. wall, so you'll be lacking one most of the time. So generally, you have a slim chance to stop a sweep without recking 2 of your pokes...
You could swap Charizard or Tyranitar for anothr tank, if you find a good replacment.
By the way, use Pursuit on Tar, instead of Crunch/Earthquake, to support Breloom and Snorlax (you can then swap Fire punch on Snorlax for EQ, to lure ghosts, and then kill them with Tar. You always have Charizard for fire attacks...)
Hope I helped ;)

i mostly have charizard on here for his resistances,as he's not weak to ground nor fighting.Heatran is weak to both of those and my team needed a resistance to those 2 types

OK the main problem that i see is that a DD dos will rip through this team with DD, EQ, Waterfall, Ice Fang

to eliminate this problem or counter it better while keeping the same poks you have is throwing roar of either Icebeam or EQ on pert so you can phase out the dos after he DDs and rack up SR damage or slap a scarf on gengar and run a trick set trick, thunderbolt, shadowball, focus blast this way you can switch in gengar on the DD and ohko with tbolt rotom appliances can also pull this off also swampert has lost some effectiveness in leading with all the taunt leads running around and because your team is more offensive based you might do better messing up your opponnents lead so i reccomend the metagross lead set with occa berry bullet punch, meteor mash, EQ/explosion, SR this way you still get your rocks up but you can hurt your opponnents lead as well most of the time, dactyle is kod with two bullet punches and azelf is hurt with meteor mash then kod with bulletpunch and explosion gets rid of non sash leads or at least takes a huge chunck out of them coming from metagross' high attack this allows you to switch more freely because entry hazards are not in play however you will need to run the scarfgar set to counter gyarados so you may just wanna keep pert, hes one of the best roarers in the game imo well hope i helped

Darkhound......Thank you so much!your rating helped me a ton with my gyarados problem and has been a big help in general, you helped give my team the extra kick it needed, thanks a bunch!

i hope u dont mind but i am using it with a few adjustmants

i used fire punch instead of hp fire on gengar, and stone edge instead of hp ice on infernape
