Is it possible to EV train level 100 (non EV trained) pokémon?

Also, what is "revenge-killing"?

Thanks.

No you can only train with vitamins so only 100 per stat.

revenge killing is when you sacrifice a weak poke to your opponent and get a free switch in on your opponent like scizor revenging gengar with pursuit. after gengar has killed something like blissey :D

Okay thanks alot.

Also, would this weavile make a good end of a baton pass chain? I've only seen BP chains in wich Lucario was the final poké.

Weavile @ Life Orb

Adamant nature

-Brick Break
-Aerial Ace
-Night Slash
-Ice Punch

1) No, EV's are applied upon level up.

2) When you switch in a counter for a pokemon after said pokemon has already knocked out one of your team-mates.

Say a 2+ Dragon Danced Salamence Dragon Claws your Kingdra, fainting it, you switch in your Mamoswine to scare it off or kill it with the imminent ice shard.

I wouldn't say so, Metagross is much more favourable. It has the ability to block intimidates and it has MUCH better defences.

Try this set:
Metagross@Expert Belt/Life orb
Adamant Nature
252 HP / 236 Atk / 12 Def / 8 Spe
~ Meteor Mash
~ Earthquake
~ Ice Punch
~ ThunderPunch

Edit: Sorry for the double post. :(

Question for experienced EV trainers

Here's my situation...

...I have 4 L1 pokes to EV train AND level up TODAY
...I have 4 exp shares
...They are in a different cartridge so they get boosted exp

Question 1: Do you think with all these factors in mind that I could fully EV train them (without using any vitamins) without them going over level 50?

Question 2: Keeping in mind that I'm not using any vitamins, that I'll be using EXP shares, and that I want to fully EV train AND get them to L50 ASAP, where would be the best place get 255 Speed, SAtk, and Atk EVs respectively. I know of several spots and have read the guides, but I was just wondering if anyone had any better spots (especially for the attack EVs :/ )

I appreciate your help!

Question 1: Easily.

Question 2: Speed: The fisherman west of Eterna with 6 Magikarps. Your four Exp.Shares will make them worth almost no experience, so there's absolutely no need to worry about levelling too much there.

Sp.Atk: Old Chateau's Gastlies. Also Haunters and Gengars there with a GBA game in your DS.

Attack: That one's a pain. Best place I know is fishing anywhere you find Gyarados and Seaking with the Super Rod. If anyone knows a better spot, I'm all ears.

Then again, I use Power items and Pokerus when EVing. The hardest part of your idea would be that you'd be fighting OVER 500 Pokemon. I'm not sure you'd be able to do that in a sane amount of time.

Why aren't you using vitamins? Too expensive?

Let's say I had a fainted Abra with Synchronize at the front of my party. In the slot immediately behind it, I have a healthy Volbeat with Illuminate (meaning that whenever I encounter a Pokemon, Volbeat is the Pokemon I send out). Would both the field effects of Synchronize and Illuminate be present? Or just the effects of Synchronize?

I'm planning on going up to the top of Mt. Coronet, and looking for a shiny Snover/Abomasnow, and I'd like to encounter as many Adamant ones as possible, so that's why I'm asking this question.

In order for the in-field aspect of the abilities to work, they must be in the actual first slot of the party, not simply the first Pokemon to be sent out.

Therefore, only Synchronize would have an effect.

If i KO enemy's poke, and i die because LO recoil, who will win? me or my enemy? because i've faced this situation in BT and i lost =(

Actually you should win. As long as you deal the final blow - the victory is yours. Same goes with explosion - if it is down to 1v1 and you explode and kill your opponent's last pokemon, you win. (This is only Shoddy Experience btw)

My Question: How do I vote in the Suspect Test?

Does Thornton (of Battle Factory) only appear on the Level 50 mode, or also on Open Level? I haven't made it as far as to battle him because of some really bad pokemon choices.

My Question: How do I vote in the Suspect Test?

If your account on Shoddy battle reaches 1655 Rating/ 65 Deviation on the suspect ladder, and you send in a paragraph to Jumpman16 regarding the criteria for your vote, then you can officially vote.

Actually, I don't think it's been confirmed that 1665/65 is the target this time? I've talked to a few people about it, and the consensus seems to be that 1500-1550 mean rating will be the req, although as far as I know nothings been decided/confirmed yet.

Why uses no one this strategy:

Make a sub with Blissey with maxed HP and BP to a pokémon with good defenses or something? That would make an incredibly strong sub wouldn't it? Or is there a major mistake I'm overlooking?

Look at the tournament forum, whenever a new official tournament is starting, a signup thread is posted, say that you want to take part there. They're fairly regular.
There's the occasional unofficial one which gets players from someone asking for people in the shoddy chat, which happens whenever somebody decides to make one.

How fast do Scizors come in general, I have to outspeed the superpower.
At full HP, you generally want to be SLOWER so you lose the speed battle and the opponent gets the defense drop and win the Superpower vs Superpower battle.

However, anything below that and the faster one wins. Most CBzors run 8 speed EVs, so go run 12.

on my platnium i have a Game event shaymin and have been to get the flower so he can be skymin but it wont have any effect/he wont hold it and explinations ( my guess would be Us cart)

Can Absol be played as an UU Weavile (with enough speed EV's)? I'm planning on making a team, and it consist of only UU pokés, except for weavile. I'm planning to make an equivalent of Weavile, but UU, so I can play in the UU metagame with my team.
