People have it in for bug types. Hell, Gamefreak has it on for bugs. The only 5 ones above UU (always get that wrong haha) are Scizor, Ninjask, foretress, Heracross and bug plate Arceus. Well, I don't play uber, Ninjask is there to support and die, and Sczior is cheaper than a soup kitchen IMO. So, since RMT seems to have a lot of people viewing it now, I thought I'd put these guys together, and regain some respect for Scyther.

OK not exactly all bugs, but mono-bug team would be asking for trouble. This team has been doing ok around the internet and playing with friends. I don't want to give up on it, but it needs some work. So here goes, Team Bugsy.

Yanmega@ Petaya Berry
Nature: Timid
Ability:Speed Boost
EVs: 252 SpAtk/252 Spd
~Air Slash
~HP Ghost
~Bug Buzz
~Substitute/Protect
...............................
Fearsome dude. Bug Buzz dents most things neutral to it, and the occasional Sp.Def drop is nice. Airslash does tons to Gyrados, i think i 2HKO'ed one with stealth rock. Now, i know this is likely to cause some controversy, but HP ghost Is brilliant. 2HKO's Dusknoir, owns the Gengars and Mismagi i come up against (Is that right for the plural of mismagius?) Of course if a well known team rater tells me i 100% have to change it to HP Ground then ok, I'll live. Last slot is a little hard. His speed with no boosts is 289, Not really intimidating. Protect has obvious advantages, but i go for Substitute for a few reasons.
A) People predict Protect, Use the floating rocks while I take the chance to Sub up.
B) Protects me from priority attacks like bullet punch later on

Mamoswine@ Life orb
Adamant
Ability:Snow Cloak
252 Spd/252 Atk
~Ice Shard
~Super Power
~Earthquake
~Stone Edge
Another problem. I love this guy, i mean look at him, he's a fucking mammoth pig. He doesn't seem to take hits all that well, and he has 5 weaknesses :/ I'm considering changing him, I'll get to that later.
The moveset is self explanatory, Avalanche over ice fang because of the higher baser power, Earthquake for STAB and Stone Edge to hit things like Regice.
..............................

Weezing@ Black Sludge
Bold
Ability: Levitate
252 Def/252 HP
~Flamethrower
~Thunderbolt
~Will-O-Wisp
~Pain Split
In a word, Amazing. Burning things left right and centre, walling things like Gyrados extremely well and Pain Splitting People who are stupid enough to leave in a Blissey. The two attacks are obvious, and does very well against Skarmory. With only 1 weakness apart from Mold breaking pokes, i doubt I'll be losing this guy anytime soon. (Plus, who uses Psychic?)
...............................

Claydol@ Light Clay
Calm
Ability:Levitate
252 Hp/ 252 Sp.def
~Rapid Spin
~Earth Power
~Stealth Rock
~Reflect
My team enjoys screens of any type. It also hates Stealth Rock, so this guy is a necessity. While both types of Spikes matter very little to my team, its nice to have the Dol immune to them, and resistant to SR. Spins, sets up screens, sets up SR, then usually a switch. Takes all moves well, though with no reliable recovery move its usually a "set up and die" poke.

Lucario @ Life Orb
Timid
Ability:Steadfast
252 Sp.atk/252 Spd
~Vacuum wave
~Aura Sphere
~Dragon Pulse
~Shadow Ball
The thing i love most about this set is the surprise factor. In comes Salamence trying to get the intimidate and resist on CC, Dragon Pulse it to hell. Dusknoir come to burn, eats a Shadowball in one of its heads. Aura Sphere because i love it, powerful stab move, available to only 2 pokemon outside of ubers! Vacuum Wave for Priority, and a safe move if i predict a switch. Didn't go for the +Spd nature, 90 base is pretty poor, and i thought the extra power would be good for the Vacuum Wave.

*DRUM ROLL*
Now for the star of the show...

Scyther@ Salac Berry
Adamant
Ability: Technician
252 Atk/252 Spd
~Substitute
~Aerial Ace
~Quick Attack (I like priority moves, can you tell? :P)
~Reversal
He has Swords on his arms, One of the best attack stats on the game and one of the greatest Abilities ever conceived. With this move set, i can hit everything for neutral damage (correct me if I'm wrong) and do tons of damage to things with reversal. Works extremely well in late game, i try to keep him hidden until the end, when walls are down and things are statused. Aerial Ace Gets STAB and both AA and Quick Attack get the technician boost, though when I'm down to 1Hp i usually go with Reversal. I know, stat wise he's no Scizor, but it's nice to use somthing a little different.
Now, i was considering this guy over the Swine Flu dude.

Weavile@Focus Sash
Jolly
Ability: Pressure
252 Atk/252 Spd
~Ice punch
~Night Slash/Puruit
~Fake out
~Counter
An interesting set i think, and keeps the STAB ice but has a much bigger speed than Mamo. I also lose a STAB EQ, but its always nice to have a speedy Slasher. Fast enough to get a revenge Kill or pursuit, and then somthing like Metagross will be an easy KO for counter! Theory, but I'vre tried it out and it works. Fake Out also works well with the revenge theme, a free turn of flinch and good damage seems like a no-brainer.
Its up to you Smogon!
There we go! I haven't used it enough to post a good threats list, but if you smogonites could give me some feedback i'll love you forever.
Ps This team is for wifi
