Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

well after a few more calibrations instead of my seconds as zero as the RNG reporter was once glitching up now its started saying 51? i dont get it? i'm doing it all right clocked snyched and everything.

its was 14 and 13 normally in the middle it started giving me 0 and now 51?

RNG Reporter is not "glitching". The time you are entering into RNG Reporter is either not the time that that you are pressing "A" on the continue screen or you are not soft resetting at :00 (according to your DS clock).

In other words, no, you are not doing it all right.

calibration steps are these right?
start game.
SR at exactly 00
catch and calculate.

if you say so mingot, your the man. i'll re synch and try again.

I'm totaly new to the RNG thing and i decided i wanted to try and figure it out. I have been reading for 2 days and i'm pretty much totally lost. Here is as far as i got.

When i entered the DPPt Time finder and entered the IV's and natures i wanted, year, max frame and min max delays, and Method J, and hit generate, it took a long time and no results came back. What am i doing wrong?

I just want to make sure of what you're asking us to do.
When we turn the game on, we hold Select+Start+L and then start the game w/R held down AT the EXACT minute, right? When it's 12:01 and now 12:00?

If you're aiming for 12:01:xx (whatever your seconds are) start the game at 12:00, and wait in game until 12:01:00 and SR, and you should get whatever seconds.

Well I figured I'd go for frame 512 for a Shaymin.
So I don't have any wandering Pokemon which leaves me.......well you know the rest.
The first time I calibrated I had 16 and 622. What does that mean to you?

Use the time finder to find a date that has 16 for the seconds and find out what year to adjust it to for 622.

So I believe I figured out my previous issue and now I'm almost able to get my spread of choice, however, I just have a few more questions (for now at least). Before, I was getting the frames wrong because during my calibration, I would get frames of 5, so I went with that. After checking again after awhile, I've discovered that my frame wasn't usually on 5, but about 7, except the Buneary usually gets two steps in before I can get my egg, making my frame at 9 when I get my egg.

This brings me to my first question: How exactly are the frames determined?
Can you save on a certain frame so that every time your game is loaded, you'll be on a certain frame? And if so, how would you go about resetting the frames or decreasing them?

As for my other question, concerning delays. How exactly can I hit a delay of 631 at 17:00:14 using Emloop? I haven't been able to get the delay consistent or somewhat consistent except if it is an earlier value. I've been able to hit 619, 625, 628, 629, but then I've hit values such as 633, 645, 649. I can't seem to find a balance to get 631. Everything is either too high or too low. I've tried plugging in different delays and I've been using 648 and I got the mentioned results. Is Emloop able to do what I'm trying to do? (Plug in the desired seconds and guess at the delay in which to reach that delay). Again, I really appreciate the help.

As to how frames are determined, I honestly don't know. I usually just go in, and see if it's the one I'm looking for. If not, I go out and do random things in game like battle trainers/catch pokemon/etc and come back and check the frame again. It usually will have a different one. I don't think there is a way to directly affect the change of frame to one you want, so just go mess around for a few minutes.

As for the Emloop, it won't help you all that much when your aiming for a delay without having a pretty good consistent time/delay to use for the base of it. If you're going for that though, I'd suggest just putting into the delay box 14 seconds for the 2nd box, and 60 for the first timer. That way, you'll be able to hit the 14 seconds. Then, if you get a delay too high, try to go faster tapping. If it's too slow, then slow down going through the intro a small bit.

@Freshest: When checking your delay by coin flip, you'll need to know the order of around 10 of them bare minimum. So, if you've used the time finder, copy the seed, and insert it into the program where it says Seed(Hex). Then go into the drop down and select DPPt Egg PID (Normal), and click generate. Copy down the coin flip results for the first 10, and that's the order you're aiming for when doing the flips.

Has anyone fully answered this question yet: How do you change frames from even to odd and vice versa?

Edit: I've been trying to get the right frame but, every time I find a different spread reset the time and date for the specified frame it changes back from even to odd and vice versa. Help?

In general, your frame is determined by the actions of the nearby NPCs at the moment you saved the game (i.e. whether or not a new random action needs to be generated for them). I find that a certain save consistently lands me at a particular frame so I just use that as the base and search increments of two from there. If you want a frame of different odd/evenness, go back to the day you saved the game on (to preserve the journal) and save again. Keep trying until you get what you want. You can also release a runner (Cresselia, Mesprit etc...), or catch one if they are out, to change your frame type.

The only thing I can do well in RNG abuse is the shiny part so I guess that's the only way I can ever abuse the RNG:(

Edit: I'll just breed the normal way to get somewhat flawless breeds.

Those are my seconds and delay, I figured that my second column is safe to assume is 14, but the delay is where I confused.Do I just take the average or the number that appears the most?

You search within the range defined by your delays, in this case 624 to 632 since you mostly hit even values and hope to hit the particular one you wanted.

Go with the ones closest to it. With that set of delays, I'd say put it either 630-634 or 620-626. That way, you should be able to get in one of those ranges since all of the delays you hit were in one of those 2.
