Can't download Shoddy.

I must sound like a noob, but...
I have been trying both yesterday and today to download Shoddy, but have been unsucessful. I have tried Opening, Saving, I have even tried typing the command that http://shoddybattle.com/downloads said to type into 'Run', but it always comes up with:

Java(TM) Web Start 1.2
Can not find message file.

I don't know whether the link got changed when the site was down or if Pokémon just doesn't like me. (since it broke my DS, too. Dx) I am fairly certain my computer meets any requirements Shoddy might have, so I doubt that's the problem.

Could somebody please help me?
 
I just forced my friend to try it on her computer and she, too, has the error message come up. Could somebody please tell me why this is happening? Is the link broken or something?
Or is it because we're both using IE8?
 
i had the same problem.. i figured it out FIREFOX BLOCKS SHODDY BATTLE you need to open it with Internet Explorer =)
 
Scratch the post I just had. After a little help from "Mr. Hacksaw", my computer was able to download Java v 1.4.2 v19 (or w/e it was) and I can now use Shoddy!!! *Final Fantasy victory music plays*
