Iv'e finaly done it! Got a flawless Eevee (except for Sp.Atck for Hidden Power Elect.)...

I was going to give up too! But the more you practice the easier it gets! ^^

Tks you very much for helping me!
Im going for Shiny Sneasel now!

Anyways on the subject!

If I decide to breed a R. Pokemon with an International one, il have to change it too Egg DPPt (Inter.) BUT if I have international Pokemon but not breeding them, It's not supposed ot effect me in anyways right? I heard that it should not..but just making sure....>_>

It shouldn't affect you. Don't forget you can't Sweet Scent in hail so go to an area without it.

K tks alot for your patience...
It doesn't work in fog either...I tried once..now I know why it wasn't working.XD

I read the rules and I know you can't have multiple account's, but how do I cahnge my username? Can't find the button for it.

Not sure if it's appropriate here but it's the only place I can think of right now...

NVM. Found it.

Gah this is all kind of confusing compared to the other stuff, lol.

Could anyone please give me a brief step-by-step guide to Cresselia in particular? It strikes me as a kind of odd one out. And yeah, I have to do Cresselia first because I need a good one for a specific purpose ASAP (i.e. I doubt anyone actually has a shiny one of these Cresselias). Heatran is the other legend on my to-do list so if people could help with that too it'd be great.

My frame is frame 10 and my time is 2000 05 25, 01:57:59 delay 604.

Should I save the game in front of Cresselia with 5 pokémon in my party, do coin flips to ensure I have the correct seed (coin flips being the ones the target seed gives for the IRNG), then run 128 steps and talk to Cresselia? And then if I've hit the right seed, it'll be my shiny Cresselia?

I'm also unsure about how measuring your delay works. Do I include the time it spends on the white screen loading, like you do with Emerald? Because this sends my delay sky high- in the 700s quite often. But if anyone could offer some Cresselia-specific help here I'd be really grateful. This whole D/P/Pt legend stuff is so much harder than Emerald and eggs, lol.

It looks like my question was over looked. Probably because I just edited a post. Anyways in HG and SS it has been confirmed that the shiny Gyrados will appear in the games again. My question is if one will be able to figure out his or her SID by using the Gyrado's IVs.

I'm not sure if anyone would know this, but I'm just asking.

@ above. You're delay is pretty much random. You can't hit a certain delay. In callibration you pretty much figure out what delays you usually get.

Anyways for my shiny Giratina I just SRed the game at the right time and hit continue at the time a needed to, which was 14 seconds after the SR. I then did the journal flips that I needed to do and just clicked on Giratina. If he wasn't shiny I would just reset the time on my DS and try again.

Yes, but the picture that pops up in the box will not be Shiny. You'll need to battle it to see if it's shiny.

And the 128 steps is correct as long as you don't have any runners out.

Measuring you delay? If you want to see what delay you can hit often, do the Calibration part of the "Common information for Breeding and Capturing Perfect Pokémon"

Well, if it's on your OT and trading is backwards compatible with DPPt, then yes, it will work for getting your SID in this game. Anyhow, no one has actually played the game or knows much of anything about it, so lets not ask any more questions on it until, like, someone has played it.

I still don't know how to RNG Shinies for Legends.

It seems to me that RNG Shiny Eggs is much easier for me.

I need help on RNG Shinies for Legends. =/

If i'm trying to get a certain Palkia on frame 82 do I either;

- Save in a position so I have to make 1 step foward before activating Palkia, and do 40 journal flips

or

- Do 38 journal flips and walk 128 steps with 5 Pokemon in my party, then go to Palkia?

Anyone has AIM or MSN. I need someone to guide through the steps to hatch a shiny egg. I tried to do it on my own yesterday and some people here tried to help but I'm doing something wrong. PM me please or post here. Thank you :(

Hatching Shinies

Okay, I'll probably sound like an idiot but here goes:

Now, I'm trying to hatch shinies using the method in the first post. I read all the info (read the entire first post - just incase!). So doing it, I had the video from TheTorsoBoy playing, and I read the instructions as I went along.

I've tried a good 20-odd times on both Platinum and Pearl, but to no avail. I have my SID (Well 8, which I got using http://users.smogon.com/X-Act/IVtoPID.html and then putting the PID into http://pokem.client.jp/emloop.htm) It was from a random encouter shiny like it asks, so I assume there is no problem there.

I came back on here to re-read everything, and see if anyone had any solutions (I searched too! - I'm a good girl) but all I found was about the seconds and delays which mine is around 11-12 seconds and 640 delay time. But also I saw about the frames and the coin flip to see what seed I am on. (Correct me, please?)

It mentioned nothing of this in the video, so I have yet to confirm the seed or the frames needed or anything. Is this needed to hatch the shiny eggs at all?

I don't know how stupid this question is, so here goes.

I'm doing the calibration process, and I'm getting some pretty wildly varying delays. Like this:

Seconds//Delay
14//610
14//606
14//594
14//598
14//604
14//616

I know that's a really small sample, but if this trend keeps up, I'd like to know how unusual this is, and how bad it might be for me in terms of targeting a delay for egg hatching.

Thanks if anyone can help =(

Thanks. I tried this once before and I got like, 608-612 and nothing else, so this had me worried.

I have no idea what changed between now and then D=

The coin flip is used for wild pokemon abuse, since coin flips don't affect that RNG. If you're doing that on the eggs, then there's your problem. It sounds like you have the wrong SID. Also, make sure you're not using International unless you are using international parents. If you are, there's a chance that those shiny spreads don't show up on normal parents.

And can someone give me the link to the site with all of the good spreads on it? I know I've been on there before, but I can't find it now. It has it set up alot like the RNG Reporter's search, where you can search the IVs and what not. I need it to see what HP Dittos I can get.

@ Rayne Sylvan: Try slowing down your button pressing a little to develop a steady rhythm. Many people mash the button as fast as they can and get wildly varying delays. a bit slower and consistent is better than fast and erratic.

Is there any way to check your seed when going for wondercards? It's so frustrating to find out you didn't get your pokemon only after you do all of your journal flips.

EDIT: Butters, add me on aim if you'd like.
