Latias = Countered by Tyranitar, due to Sandstorm's SpD boost. Can also ward off with Pursuit.
Scizor = Countered by Magnezone. That's IF it doesn't carry Superpower. Magnezone can outspeed/KO.

should I expect a reply within a few days? should I expect a reply ever? Looks like no, this is bollocks.
I have asked for an idea on what should replace Hypnosis on transform mew since I tried to find out whether or not I could even get hypnosis on it, impossible without owning xd or whatever, which I dont and almost certainly never will. Not a hint of a suggestion, does no one know or have an idea? Or are you all just waste-gashes?
 
I believe so, why don't you try it?

kitsteel, I would just make it a BP'er or Transformer.

On a Trick Room- Life Orb Trapinch would it be better to give him max Def rather than HP to avoid too much LO recoil?

If so, I might just use Choice Band.

Assuming you run 252 Att, the most rounded defenced EVs are 176 HP/ 40 Def/ 40 SpDef. Trapinch takes 27 damage from LO and has 275 HP. If you decide to run purely physically defencive, it turns out the best EV spread is 4 HP/ 252 Def. Trapinch takes 23 damage from LO and has 232 HP here. (a simular spread can be run for specially defencive, but Trapinch won't be helped that much from added SpDef)

I wouldn't really reccomend Band on a TR team since switching will waste precious TR turns and a Choiced EQ is bad to be locked into. W/o a band, you can freely use Toxic or if TR ends use Quick Attack for a last harrah.

If the recoil does annoy you, try using expert belt, or even soft sand instead, as they give some added power and fool opponents into thinking you are choiced sometimes.
 
Is the description of No Guard correct? It says it makes it possible for moves to go through Protect/Detect, with the same accuracy as the chance of missing if you didn't have No Guard.

I've never seen a Protect being bypassed, so I asked a friend to test it with me, and I managed to protect against 2 sets of Dynamic Punches (16). According to the ability description, it should have a 50% chance of breaking through, but it didn't.

Can anyone explain?

Well they took that out of platinum so if you tested it on platinum it wouldn't work. I have tried it on diamond and it hits through protect.

Both of those would be ok for a Calm Milotic... they seem pretty boring though, and I only spent about a minute looking at serebii's pokedex to figure it out.

I'm not sure what else you could be looking for. Being too lazy to breed for egg moves is no excuse though, figure out what set you want, find the parents and make it happen. Haze, Mirror Coat, Light Screen and Hypnosis can all be usable egg moves for Milotic.

It's called a RNG abuse Shiny, and I lose my access to the program after I lose my PC tomorrow--I already have a decent modest Milotic with Hidden Power electric and hypnosis, but I felt like switching things up, and I had a better male parent who didn't have the egg moves... Whatever!

1. Sleep Talker
2. Toxic Staller
3. Sweeper?

It's calm and without egg moves--please find me a useful spread.
 
You won't get enough power out of a calm milotic to sweep. the actual spread would depend on your IVs.

and i didnt know that above post about protect and no guard, i only have diamond so that is actually something i might look into for battle tower mayhem
 
Trying to figure out this EV thing, I am still not getting it at all. At the moment I am focusing on this Crobat I have, I am liking the Sleep Inducer Move sets and it says for EV's it is 124 HP / 132 SpA / 252 Spe , How would I be able to get this, I am clueless atm

you can replace it with the screen you aren't already using since reflect / ls is slashed in the third slot

pokemon you beat yield either 1, 2, or 3 EVs in a stat based on their base stats (like charmander gives you one speed ev whereas charizard gives you three special attack evs). there are power items like power brace and power lens that give you an extra four EVs in a given stat. for example if you beat a charmander with a power weight attached, you get 1 speed ev and 4 hp evs.

to get 124 HP evs you could beat 24 bidoofs with a power weight attached (1+4)*24 = 120, then beat 4 bidoofs without an item (route 201)
for 132 SpA evs you can beat 26 gastly with a power lens then beat 2 gastly without an item (old chateau)
for 252 Spe evs you can beat 50 starly with a power anklet attached then beat 2 starly without an item (route 201)

of course there are easier ways to do this but that's probably the most "simple".
 
When can I begin EV Training, I just started playing Pokemon yesterday (Haha) I just caught this lvl 15 Zubat, can I start EV training it now, like kill 252 Magikarps to get the 252 spd EV?

Don't worry about EVs in-game. Not only would that take FOREVER but it would not be worth it, NPCs are too weak to even care. Just watch the "[pokemon] only run"
Save EV training for Wi-fi and Battle Tower.
 
Im just getting it over with. is it possible to start ev training the moment I caught the zubat, and I could care less for time, I have all the time in the world (I work at home)
 
yeah, go ahead and start EV training it as soon as you want, though it's easier if you wait until you have the power items and/or Pokerus.
