Growlithe is found in that route right before Ekryteak (spelled it wrong) City. Right after the spot where you fought Sudowoodo. And I don't know about the Fire Stone. Also, Growlithe can only be found if you're playing HG. In SS, you'll find Vulpix instead.
 
If it's like Crystal, a guy near that same spot (I think named Alan) gives you his number an occasionally he calls to say he's found a fire stone.
 
^The fire stone is probably obtained like the original G/S; trainers you've previously battled call you and give them to you.
 
Does anyone know if there's suppose to be an option under "Options" on the Menu Screen? If there is, what is it and when do you get it?

Or is there suppose to be an empty spot there?

Latias and Kyogre are HG-only, Latios and Groudon are SS-only. From what I've seen, Ledyba, Weedle, Murkrow and Vulpix are SS-only, and Spinarak, Caterpie, Misdreavus and Growlithe are HG-only.


And I hope yaminokame from Pokébeach discovers what's up with that Edge of Night Sky course on Pokéwalker... I really hope it's related to Deoxys.

Lol, I guess HG is the game for me instead.

GameFreak is good at separating certain pokemon from the other version.. damn..

nah, play-asia is the best place. ebay was a choice for me.. but its all over-priced compared to PA, and it takes longer.

btw.. its funny how HG/SS totally took all my attention away from my Platinum game.

Poor Empoleon & Co. You seem less important now.

Whew, I was worried I wouldn't be able to get a Murkrow.

Now I'm wondering if there are actually any version exclusives... People are just assuming it's the same as GS but looks like it's not. If not, that would make Kyogre/Groudon and Latias/Latios the only exclusives lol
 
There's been no indication of any other Celebi in the script (which we have in full). Its still a possibility, but its highly unlikely since I"m sure that, 3 days into the coverage of HGSS, it would have been hacked for events.
 
Anyone knows how i can change my sprite for Wi-Fi? I suppose there is a guy that ask you things like in DPPt somewhere, i want to change my current sprite so if anyone figured out the answers to get certain trainer sprite it will be very appreciated!

If I am trying to play this game, I cant start.. it works until I type my name and I get "small", then the screen gets black and it stays like this.. I hope I could somehow explain it well.

That's weird.. your DS should be able to play it without a problem..

I'm a huge fan of it. It's slightly less sissy-fairy like. Only thing I wished, was that it had the slight rage of Red/Blue. But after seeing it in the anime a few times.. they got it freakin perfect.
