I know how save states work. And that's why I save when the journal flips up, then if I get the right seed, I can keep reloading until I get the right frame.
And also, I know how Initial Frame works. And Frame advancing...Don't know, but seems to me you think I'm a newbie on RNG. Well, I'm not [at least in egg abuse].
That means RNG advance changes if I open the menu before taking the egg. I don't know why it does, but it does [well, it did].

I know NPCs advance my frame. And I'm absolutely sure the egg initial frame was 5. I've tried it many times and the NPCs position were the same every single time [Yeah, I do check that].
I don't want my suggestion to add something on the first post, but I think it's a viable solution to people who have the same problem.
It's not the first time I have this problem and the first time bearsfan092 answered me saying that he has the same problems sometimes. So he just resaves to change the initial frame. I used to do that before I start using save states. But now I found this solution that works 100% (4 on 4, because I just helped a friend with the same problem, but without save states).
If you guys don't think it's worth to try it, I really don't mind. I'm just trying to help.

The RNG is always running, and waiting for the NPC to move advanced it in your situation. Opening the menu only pauses the RNG, not advances it. The opening and closing of the menu then taking the egg allowed a NPC to get an extra movement in.

In many of the youtube guide and this one, it says to put the parents in after finishing your taps and flips. I always did it this way, so Im not sure if having the parents before influences the shinyness first hand. They also recommand having them in your PC, not in the party

This is just a suggestion but you might want to test just the lowest tap you can find, ignoring the nature, so you can make sure your doing it correctly.
Did you:
=Sure you have the right SID
=Entered the right Time and in a 24-hour format in the RNG Reporter (The RNG usaly tells you if the time is off tough)
=Putted the right method? International or Not?
=Started at App 5 With 5 Pokemon in your party?
=Caught a lv. 50 + Pokemon for more accurate result?
=Go to the Happiness checker then go to the Coin Flip
=Stayed the Pokemon in the PC, when completed tap, put them in the Daycare?
=Count right?
Im not sure what else.
yes a friend got me my SID via AR, yes enterd the right time, international because of my japenese (i think) ditto yes app number 5 the one where you can see your party pokemon, caught a lvl 52 pokemon (question can i move in the grass to capture it or does it have to be like sweet sent?) did the right count and yes got the ditto and crobat out of the pc and in the day care.

- Obtain Happiness Application for the Poketch (no. #6)
- Obtain Coin Toss Application for the Poketch (no. #15)
- Get Parents (Obviously) ready in party or in the box it doesn't matter
- Get 5 pokes in party
- Be on a patch of grass
- Synchronize your DS clock with another clock!
- Put Application no. #5 in your poketch and Reset your Game
- Note the time (Hour-Mins) when you hit 'A' in Continue menú after resetting
- Use sweet scent and catch the poke you get
- Check IVs and nature of the Poke
- Add the Info. to the RNG reporter (Date, Hour-Mins, IVs, Nature, ID, SID)
- Adjust sittings in the RNG reporter then click FIND, then GENERATE
- Click on your desire frame
- Do the taps and coin flips that the game is telling you
- Deposit Parents
- Hatch your Shiny Pokémon

Are you sure he's done it correctly?
And I didn't always used Sweet Scent but it worked for me, I swiftly changed to MinusOne method tough.
Maybe you should just try something else from your game then, even if the ditto's all good, try something else, if that doesn't work then...
And was any Pokemon in the Daycare during the ordeal? It might have an effect...then again I don't know first hand...
Also recheck your DS clock....their are many times I got it all wrong cause I taught the time was right...turns out I putted in a non-24 hour format.
And make sure the Daycareman has the egg before restarting the game (In case your RNG abusing).
Yes it has a huge effect. When the Daycare man is holding the egg, save....but if your not Soft-Reseting or RNG abusing for IV's then just pick it up I guess.
Soft Reesting has the same effect as Hard Reseting(Turn the DS off)...the difference is you just press Select+Start+R+L to go to the menu screen and it cancels out your AR codes (Happens to me anyways)...and you don't need to turn off then turn on your game again...I personaly prefer Hard Reseting for RNG abuse, because the way I do it doesn't work with Soft Reseting...however skipping that cause your not RNG abusing.
If you plan on reseting, whatever works for you, save when the man has the egg..and if you don't care about the IV's just take it, no need to reset at all.
If you can hit your Delay properly then you can always use MinusOne Method, it's alot easier to use...and International parents give you more chance of getting a shiny...so it might give you a larger variety between each taps.
ok i made the time so it would be the same as my phone and now i did all the steps captured a lvl 50 roselia and did 17 taps and 9 flips went to the daycare center got out two bulbaseur one fem and the other male and it didnt work man :(!

I've never heard of this "MinusOne Method". What is it and where can I find out more about it?
Just go to the first page of the topic and read carefully the "How to Hatch a Shiny Pokémon", which is in the very first post. If you cant find it, make your browser search for it using crtl+f.
You can use the shiny egg tab in the Time Finder window. It's the exact same thing as shiny egg finder program. Just follow the instructions on the first page's link to it. It's much easier than having to sr for a reasonable number of taps/flips
It's almost exactly the same as RNG abusing, you just don't need to pay attention to the frame...the most annoying part.
Just download the Newest version of RNG reporter, go to Time Finder and there should be a section called Shiny Egg finder...Enter your average delay, seconds and time....Enter the Nature, Sex, Ability, (if you don't find one on a particular date change dates) that you desire and it'll search a shiny version of that Pokemon with the desired delay and seconds. It's easier to understand when you actually see it....
Anywho...it'll give you the amount of taps and flips needed, it'll also have the initial coin toss to check if you hit your right delay, you have to do the coin 10 flip to check your delay otherwise it won't work, then go to the hapiness checker do the X amount of tap, go back to the coin flip, do the X amount of flip.
Basicly in-game
Do 10 Delay check flip
Tap X amount of hapiness checker required
Tap X amount of flip required
That's it...at least that's what I remember..there might be some other things but I know the things I said are the essential..sorry if Im not much help..Im a bit rusty.
I know it pauses. But it seems to me that pausing the RNG by opening the menu changes something, or not, maybe I was just lucky to only manage to hit my frame all 3 times when I paused the game. Who knows? But yeah, if you and ClikC (Which I know you both rule on RNG) don't believe it changes anything, ok then. I won't do any further tests with it, but I'll keep doing it while it works for me :)
You could do what TEST 101 just said on the post above, or you could use International Parents (Try to grab Syberia's Ditto or something). They generate much more shiny spreads :)
That's excelent advice thank you. However, I just SRd for an easy one, BUUUUT.... I'm an idiot and didn't notice that both my "parents" were female (guess they're not into that kind of thing). I know my delay and target time for when I got that seed. If I reset my DS and hit my seed again (it wont be hard) could I just do the taps and flips to get that shiny again, but this time with "compatable" parents? XD
Also, doing the 10 coinflips to verify won't screw me up cuz I'll just do 2 more and subtract one happiness tap and it'll all equal out (12flips=1happiness tap).
